My group of 6 had a wonderful evening. The owner/chef came to our table, the sommelier was knowledgeable and friendly (Adam), and our server (Devin) was polite and informative. My husband and I choose Prima Cucina to host our parties and to enjoy the downtown area.

We were stuck with the table for two right by the front window, which literally had the bar patrons right next to our table. Wasn't even offered another with lots of other tables opened at that time. Food and service was good, but being jammed in that nook took away from our first-time experience.

This is my favorite restaurant for a reason! Devin is a fabulous server! The good is excellent and the quaint atmosphere makes for a wonderful experience. The eggplant is wonderful- the best in town. Love this restaurant!

This is a fabulous place to enjoy a delicious Italian meal! It’s a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance, friendly staff, and the food is excellent. I have been here twice as this is the halfway point for my parents and I to meet up, and I can confidently say we will be back and this is our official meet-up restaurant for the future. On our last trip there, we ordered the mussels appetizer and the insalata misticanza (mixed salad) which were both delicious. Our main courses were the Pappardelle al Ragu', Linguini Neri allo Scoglio and the Spaghetti alle Vongole - all three were spectacular. I absolutely devoured my Pappardelle and the Ragu was the best I have ever tasted!

Delicious food and wonderful service! We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here and everything we had was so good! We were able to take our time and didn't feel rushed at all. I loved the polenta and the seafood linguine!

A wonderful downtown restaurant that allows locals a "bit of Manhattan" and out of town guests a bit of Youngstown hospitality. Prima atmosphere has a big city vibe, tight... but not too tight, white table clothes, attentive servers from around the world.....several speak fluent Italian which is always a great touch at an Italian restaurant......a decent, fair priced wine list....well stocked bar and of course very good food. It's worth the trip downtown for locals and out of town guests will not be disappointed.

This was our first time at Prima Cucina. The food was excellent. The presentation was wonderful and the wait time was extremely reasonable. The best part was the service. Everyone at Prima Cucina was attentive to all of our needs and so very friendly. p.s. don't forget the dessert. The chocolate cake was awesome!

We were seated in a timely matter . Once we were seated a waiter came over and asked if we were taken care of we said no(we were sitting for about 10min already) he then asked our waiter Dimitri to service our table. He asked if we were ok with tap water and asked if we wanted anything from the bar. We were ready to order our appeitizers so we had to call him over to the table once they came (the bus boy brought to the table) we asked if our waiter could take our dinner order he came to take our order we asked about specials he quickly said what they were when I asked about a dish he rolled his eyes. Dinner came we asked for more bread that never came until we were almost done and again our bus boy brought dinner to our table. Food was very good service was very bad. When our waiter gave us our bill he apologized for not being attentive to us but they we very understaffed. Actually he spent a lot of time talking to another family in front of where we were sitting and not being attentive to more tables than just ours.

Their service is always excellent. Because of allergies, I have limited dining options with them so I end up ordering the same thing every time. For whatever reason the Pomodoro was exceptional this visit. We very much enjoyed ourselves!

Consistently great food; always a few interesting specials (the fish entrée changes daily and always delicious). Devils on Horseback appetizer is delicious as is the Insalata Misticanza salad with shaved fennel. I can't get beyond Pappardelle al Ragu but I know every selection is well-crafted. Outstanding Tiramisu. Definitely one of the best dining experiences in the Youngstown/Warren area.

This was our second visit to Prima and it was a very pleasant experience. Chloe was our server and she did an awesome job very attentive and friendly. The food was very good. If I was being picky and just to assist I would just suggest slightly less salt on the skirt steak otherwise it was super tender and perfectly cooked temperature wise. Overall great!
