   My wife's birthday dinner - first time at this restaurant and did not disappoint. Had oysters on half shell and two pasta dishes- exceptional. Pasta was really made well and sauces were flavourful. Great ambience - will go again!

   Great time. So happy to have areal serving us again last night. She's always awesome. The oysters feom p e I were amazing. The 5 coarse dinner and wine pairing were excellent . Can't wait to already go back.

   The tasting menu was fabulous! Each course was beyond delicious. It was a full house but the staff remained really attentive. Good recommendations and direction on wine choice. We even received a free small bit of sparkling wine on the house for our anniversary!

   Took my parents here for dinner and was not disappointed. My tattoo artist had been raving about it so it was due time to check out. The service was wonderful, the food was so rich and delicious, cocktails were awesome. The spiked tea is dangerous because it doesn’t taste like alcohol, just sweet tea, delicious though! I would definitely go again. Great experience!

   Ambiance is great! Menu is limited but definitely a great selection of everything. Pricing is on the high side - both food and wine - but i guess that is the same most anywhere you go. I totally enjoyed my meal with the wine and would return. This is a high-class, intimate & inviting establishment that anyone entering is sure to have a memorable evening!!!

    Had the PEI oysters, bison carpaccio, and the tagliatelle with beef heart boulagnese. The food was incredible, the service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Along with the food, I had the special margarita, which was amazing, and a Negroni after. The butterscotch dessert was ridiculously good. Amazing date night.

    I had a particularly wonderful experience at Primal last night! The staff were so helpful as our table grew over the days leading up to the dinner and worked hard to accommodate a group of our size. They were honest and communicative. Our server was incredibly helpful accommodating our vegan guests, enthusiastically offering substitutions and ideas. It made an often awkward conversation into a lovely interaction and fabulous meal. As always, the vibe and lighting was perfect. The food was delicious. But this evening was extraordinarily amazing!

    As always, Primal was exceptional. From the food to the wine to the service. The squash stuffed pasta was incredible in particular. And the service was terrific - friendly and knowledgeable and around exactly as much as needed. I would highly recommend Primal to anyone.

    We had the 5 course menu, one with wine pairing. A couple of the courses were excellent (the bison carpaccio, and the ravioli), and all the rest were good. The mains were both slightly disappointing, in that we expected them to be really excellent but they were a bit ordinary. Good, but nothing really special. The rosé wine with the appetizer course was very disappointing - quite tasteless. The chiú chip white wine paired very well with the pasta course. We might go again, but will not rush back.

    Different and good mission to support local. Pasta was too el dante. Steelhead was slightly overcooked. Wine was good. Carpaccio was very good but left us wanting.

    Primal is our favourite spot to go to celebrate life’s milestones. Their service is always fantastic and Michael always makes us feel extra special. We adore the food and the staff is always so kind and accommodating. We had Freya last night and she was wonderful!
