Prime Seafood Palace is a modern steakhouse offering a selection of beef, seafood, and vegetables all sourced from purveyors we love and value. Unexpected - a space to truly experience in person. The main entry is located in a quiet courtyard, drawing patrons away from the humming activity of Queen Street West. Inspired by Matty Matheson’s East Coast roots and appreciation for architecture, our design is conceptualized as a light-filled cathedral clad in white maple, with a menu that gives nod to the classic steakhouse tradition.

“Palace” is an apt description for celebrity chef Matty Matheson’s steak and seafood temple. With slatted maple panelling and brass accents, the interior gives off Scandi-style sleekness. The steakhouse-influenced menu is full of premium cuts with fancy flourishes, plus caviar service.

Excellent food and service. We were seated in the ‘back room’ due to large party ie. 8 people. The atmosphere while fine was not as appealing as the main dining room.

First, the music playing was fantastic, props to whoever makes the playlist. The food was better than expected. The flavor profiles were just amazing. Everything worked.

WE ORDERED: GEM SALAD PALACE BACON CABBAGE WITH CHICKEN SKIN 12 OZ PRIME RIB PALACE POTATOES YORKSHIRE PUDDING BEARNAISE SAUCE MILKTOAST ICE CREAM> THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME HERE AND ITS ALWAYS ONE OF THE BEST MEALS I EAT. the obvious must haves: palace bacon, sliced prime rib, bernaise sauce. without question. always. palace bacon - almost asked to order a second order to go the cabbage was a delightful surprise and knocked our socks off. very complicated. i've never had cabbage take me on a journey like that. many unexpected flavors ... all good. i feel like the guy floating to the window with a pie in it. wonderful surprise - i recommend the cabbage I dont even wanna talk about the bearnaise its so good. would love if the palace potatoes just came with bernaise. would love if everything in my life cam e with ther bernaise. i like the sliced prime rib more than the palace cut. but perhaps this is because im simple. i like it this way. and cooked perfect. and sauced perfec. all hands on deck, yall knocked it outta the park with that one im anti yorkshire pudding for personal reasons but this one was good. i break it up and make sandwiches with the bernaise and prime rib. i like that the staff is ok with me getting a little sily with it. no matter the price or the venue i like to make a little sandwich i like the prime seafood palace accepts me as i am. and i like how wonderful their staff is. This is a nice restaurant and they have the be able to cater to that clientelle but they are cool with me being a little silly with it. food is stellar, staff is stellar. its nice to look at. cant recommend enough. I come at least once a year, get ready to see me again next july . love u

It was so much fun!! We’ve been watching matty for years now, supporting him at all this restaurants has been great!!! Seafood cocktail amazing, but needs more lobster, and is delicious with the bread from the tartare. The bread takes away the punch of flavour that’s there in the tartare. The sauce with the halibut is amazing with all the food at the table. The piece de resistance the key lime pie, brought the whole meal together, I’m so happy I can’t pass up dessert.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the cocktails. The lobster pasta was delicious. The bacon and potato’s were a great combination of crunchy goodness. I do wish there was more on the plates. The aperitif highball was refreshing and had a wonderful medley of spices. The ambience is fresh and energetic. I great dining experience.

It was our first time here. My wife and I I loved it in many ways. Great service and ambience. The food was delicious and the portions ok. It’s pricey though but I understand why it’s not easy to find a spot during prime time.

Overall the food was good. Portion was very small for the appetizer. The lobster spaghetti was very good, sadly the portion is very small for $50, it’ll be nice that could me a main dish in the future with a better portion. Also, disappointed on the palace potatoes, had a very high expectation on it. It’s was kinda in the darker side as it’s abit dry. They got good wine selections
