This restaurant was an incredible dining experience. In particular, the service can't be beat. The entire staff here worked together like poetry in motion, everyone helping each other and ensuring diners had the best experience. The Sommelier was a kind, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable woman, and our dedicated server, Zach, was also friendly and knowledgeable. We had the Palace Bacon and Lobster Spaghetti for appetizers and both were divine. We had the peppercorn crusted filet for a main with the palace potatoes and green beans for a side. All were delicious. We have eaten at Matty's Rizzo's House of Parm, and loved it, and now had the pleasure of dining at Prime Seafood Palace and can't say enough good things about it. This restaurant is highly recommended!

Wonderful food some of it a special take on dishes like roast beef, some of it unique like a squid dish with unusual ingredients. A bit noisy but on the whole worth visiting for a special experience.

Everything was just WOW. The food was outstanding, the service was exquisite, the somm helped us chose a perfect wine to pair, and we were bursting at the seams with delight all night. Great place for a special evening. We will be back very soon.

Prime ribs was a bit salty. Potatoes are overrated and costed $23 bucks for 4 cubes with mayo. Potatoes are potatoes. Beef tartare was good. Lobster pasta is tasty but I’d need to eat 3 plates to get full at $50 a plate. Expensive

Service was excellent and our waitress was attentive and took great care of us. We came after watching the Bear and this place is the real deal like you are in the show. But the best Toronto has to offer was definitely presented to us tonight. Wish the portions were a bit smaller, just cause we wanted to enjoy as many dishes as could. The prime rib is no joke for sure.

Wonderful food and service. A special shout out to somm Jing for her guidance and to Mitre d’ Vince for accommodating our last minute change to the size of our party. The only downside for me was the noise. I prefer a quieter restaurant.

We were visiting Toronto from Las Vegas. I can report exceptional service. The host and wait staff were outstanding. The only thing better than the service was the food! Everything was expertly presented and tasted out of this world. We enjoyed it so much, we asked for and received a quick kitchen tour. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Bravo! If you are in Toronto, you MUST go to Prime Seafood Palace.

We went for my 40th birthday. According to Kyle, our 7-dish order was above the average amount of food that two people usually go with, but he was also proud of us when we ate most of it. Everything was delicious and the creamed greens were an unexpected fave. When I asked him where the bathroom was, he said “the one that everyone talks about is right here” meaning the one with the skylight and custom concrete Lake Erie sink that I couldn’t wait to see. Did not disappoint. When we said we didn’t save room for dessert, he brought us a maple tart to go, which I excitedly told him was the dessert that I would have picked. He said, “you know, we usually do the chocolate cake for birthdays, but I said to myself, ‘she’s a maple tart girl.’” Kyle, you are so right. I *am* a maple tart girl. 10/10. No notes.

The meal was phenomenal and the staff was outstanding. Vince was a true gentleman and made us comfortable from the moment we arrived. Every person that touched the table during our meal did so with grace and personality. The meal itself will remain at the forefront of my memory until I get to experience it again. Cocktails were well designed and beautifully crafted. The halibut and humboldt squid were the standouts of the meal but everything we tasted truly excited us. Just an umami carnival on our table. Top 5 meal for us without hesitation. I see stars in your future, Prime.

Food is stunningly good. Ordered the lobster spaghetti appetizer, wagyu steak and potatoes infused with duck fat. Dessert was chocolate cake. All incredible. Service was professional and friendly, with outstanding attention to detail that is unmatched even at other, high end restaurants. Vince at the front desk, to the staff at the bar who served me (I was dining solo, and booked a seat at the bar), were all first class professionals. Totally recommended, when it comes to a very high end, dining experience.

Our waiter was condescending when we were taking our order and continuously pushed us to order more despite us having ordered enough. The waiter was also not very attentive and was not pleasant to be around. It seems as though he stepped away for quite awhile and other waitresses had to take over.

I came for the food but will come back for the service. The execution of everything was top tier. From the decor to the staff, Hannah was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. She was nice, informative, and just overall a wholesome person. Will definitely be back in the future!

The service here was immaculate. All of the staff were super friendly and attentive. For appetizers we ordered the palace bacon and lobster & spaghetti, which paired really well together (recommended by one of our waiters), for our main we shared the large prime rib with palace potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and maple carrots with a side of Bearnaise, and for dessert we got the maple butter tart and a special nectarine tres leches cake. Everything was amazing and I would re order all of it again. The price point is high but it's worth it for a special occasion. We will definitely be back.

Probably one of the most stunning spaces I’ve eaten in. Such a great experience. Food was magnificent. Loved all the fresh farm to table vegetables and tender meats that were seasoned and cooked so perfectly. Great for a special occasion as it is pricey but boy was it worth it !!

Best restaurant meal ever. Amazing food quality, simple (to the eye) presentation that let the ingredients shine. Each dish better than the next. Tomatoes, bacon, speck, halibut, mushrooms, eggplant and dessert. I don’t even typically like dessert, but the maple cake with the cheese (and side of bacon) was insane. And the chocolate cake was rich but wonderfully balanced and not too sweet. Still relishing the meal in my mind’s eye.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The interior design and architecture is beautiful and sets a great tone for the meal and the food presentation and atmosphere compliment one another well. The menu has great call backs to Matheson’s roots with the molasses brown bread and mustard pickles with kippered mussels, and the immaculately prepared steaks and halibut show the skill of the culinary team. The filet mignon with peppercorn sauce was without a doubt the best steak I’ve ever had, which was unexpected given that this isn’t my favourite cut. My only regret is not splurging on the wagyu to see what they do to make it shine. The wait staff were also incredibly knowledgeable and provided good input around choices and were attentive without being overbearing, and the cocktails were excellently prepared. This was a great choice to celebrate a birthday, and we will most definitely be back and I’m already recommending it highly to everyone.
