   Patrick was our waiter and his expertise was fantastic. He went above and beyond. The greeting when we arrived was very welcoming which added to our evening. We will return for such great service!

   We decided to visit Prime Steakhouse during our family vacation. Ended up being a great choice…as the food, service, and view were fantastic! Our server, Rena, had great knowledge and recommendations of what we may want to order. We took her recommendations and enjoyed the rib eye steak, smashed brussel sprouts, and cauliflower and potato gratin. Complimented dinner with a nice bottle of local red wine. Great views of the Falls also!! Will definitely visit again!

   We couldn’t wait to eat; made reservations by breaking our party in 2 groups. It was good that they were able to put us together which was probably the highlight of our evening. The restaurant felt dated, the food quality was average and the presentation was mediocre. I was terribly disappointed; we had huge expectations. The bill for 5 adults with only 2 people having drinks was $800.00. If the food was spectacular and the ambiance beautiful it would have been worth it. However, it wasn’t either of those. So think twice before you eat here. Even the hotel is old and musty smelling which doesn’t start the venture out on a good foot.

   A very nice experience to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. Excellent service from our server, James, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for the wonderful complimentary dessert! We would definitely consider returning for another special occasion.

    We chose it for celebrating our Anniversary. Patrick provided us a fabulous service which is way beyond our expectations! The view was awesome and the food was so tasty which thanks Patrick for his recommendation and his effort and his humour that made our night even more special. Patrick even went to kitchen to find out our questions about the aged beef. We at the same times learned something new. The restaurant offered us a free dessert for our Anniversary. This was a wonderful dinner and we had a very good time. We will never forget it!

    Not sure the food lived up to the price point but overall the food was good and the steak was cooked to order. Whatever lacked was definitely made up with the ambiance of the falls and the service of the staff. I'll probably seek out another restaurant next time we stay at the Crowne Plaza but it was nice to have a steakhouse right in the hotel with a fallsview.

    Dinner was fine. I had indicated it was my birthday when I reserved and I was asked if there was anything special happening. I also mentioned the birthday again. That's the last I heard about it. I am glad we asked our waitress about the portion size . We ended up splitting both the caesar salad and the baked potato which worked well. I found the time between the salad service and our main course a bit lengthy. WE passed on desert as I thought a birthday surprise ( Cake?) might be in the offing. The view was spectacular.

    Rena was our waitress and gave us the best service! The view was amazing! Our food and cocktails were delicious. We got a steak and chicken and waffles plus the chocolate cake.

    Fabulous views, superb service and delicious food & wine made for an anniversary dinner my husband and I will fondly remember. Our server, Barbara was warm, gracious, knowledgeable, and skilled. She walked us through the selection of local wines and the details of the menu. The steak and seared scallops were cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend for special occasions.

    The food was lovely, expensive , staff were friendly what let it down was we were having a romantic anniversary meal and they sat a large table of 14 men next to us which took the noise levels up and my husband was squashed at the end of the table with other customers having difficulty passing so we promptly left early, disappointing end to what should have been a wonderful evening

    Very disappointing. French Onion Soup was Flavorless, dinner arrived late, and was barely warm. Wine tasted like two day old re-corked. Left without dessert.

    They over cooked my steak after I specifically requested it to be cooked medium. The steak was brown all the way through. You can tell the steak was a quality steak but the was very over cooked. Considering the meal cost $300 for two people. I don’t think it was too much to ask too have some pink in my steak.

    We celebrated our anniversary in Niagara and searched for best dining "Niagara" and The Prime Steakhouse came up. Ordered the Cowboy steak with truffle butter and it did not disappoint. We had a great bottle of wine and they treated us to a complimentary piece of cake for our celebration. The view of both Falls were spectacular. Our server, Sara, was personable, knowledgable and assisted in some of our choices. Thank you to the staff and management of The Prime Steakhouse.

    We aren't the fine-dining crowd so the prices were a bit beyond our normal range. We were a group of 4 and shared 2 16 oz. steaks and a few sides and I would say the experience was lovely. If I have the opportunity to return and have purchasing power I would love to come back here. The caramelized pork belly was one of my favourites (so tender and moist and flavourful) and the steak was such high quality. The service was also amazing. I think it definitely is worth it to try this place and treat yourself to exquisite food on vacation!

    My steak was a hockey puck. Waitress asked why had we come to niagra falls anyway. Rolls were grocery store caliber. Paid 12 dollars for scallops and got three in a bowl with a slice of lemon and lime. No seasoning. Vegetables and a smoked whiskey were very good. Not worth asking for water refills. We just paid the bill and left hoping we didn’t run into the waitress. Longhorn steakhouse a much better choice on every level.

    Was looking forward to treating my daughter to a wonderful dinner after a busy weekend away. Decided on Prime, based on reviews. We were a table of four. Our server, Mikey was attentive and fun — no complaints there. Two moms with their preteen daughters, our bill was significant; we didn’t skimp. Familiar with fine dining, we were expecting a quality experience. My daughter and I both ordered tenderloin for our main (after enjoying calamari and salads to start). The quality of the steak served was just sub-par. I’m not one to complain and attempted to cut around the MAJOR gristle that was throughout the entire center, but it was just so unenjoyable (and inedible) that I couldn’t. My daughter’s was similar, however she was so hungry that she didn’t complain. After declining a box, Mikey sensed an issue. He apologized and went to speak to the manager. Here is where our experience took a turn for the worse … the manager came to our table and explained that something like this, ‘has never happened before’. I was understanding, but explained that my steak was inedible and unenjoyable. There was definitely awkward silence and the reiteration that, ‘this has never happened before’. I was asked by the manager if I’d like another steak made, to which I politely declined as it had gotten late, I had finished our three side dishes, and was a bit turned off by the steak I had been served. This manager continued to insist that I take a steak ‘to-go’. I explained that we were from out-of-town and staying in a hotel. That there was no refrigerator in our room, and that I wouldn’t be able to reheat a steak (and didn’t really want a leftover steak in the morning). He wasn’t getting it; he suggested I request a refrigerator from the front desk and take the steak! I declined. The conversation was just so awkward, he then walked away. Nothing was resolved. Upon viewing my bill, there was a small credit, maybe half the cost of my steak. Just didn’t sit right. Won’t return or recommend.

    I cannot think of a single negative. the host met us right off the elevator and immediately had us seated. Our server Goktug was very personable and helpful and our glasses were never empty. We had fantastic views of the falls, extremely tasty appetizers and perfectly cooked steaks with delicious sides that we shared. The desserts were amazing, even if we were actually too full to properly enjoy them!

    Food was absolutely incredible. Not one complaint, and many many great things to say about it. By far, the best steak I have ever had. Clearly well marinated and perfectly cooked. Sides and appetizers also seasoned & cooked to perfection. It was an expensive meal, but worth the value to treat ourselves. The server had a great attitude and sense of humor, and also picked up on our body language as to when we were looking for his help. Standards were high all around.
