Prospect Point Bar & Grill
We met friends for a late lunch at Prospect Point on a Saturday. We were pleaed to see that the breakfast menu was available until 2 and all 7 of us ordered from it. Everyone was very pleased with their meal and the service was excellent.
Fresh seafood, everything is tasty and the service is great.
The food was delicious and the view of prospect point was fabulous. It was easy to make a reservation for my family who was visiting from Alberta. My only critique is that they brought the kid's food out last. It sucks to have your hungry toddler looking around at all of the adults starting to eat their meals. They should have brought out the kid's food first.
Went to prospect point bar and grill after I proposed to my now fiancée on the seawall. They were all expecting us and were fantastic. Even gave us complimentary dessert!!! Definitely made us feel special in our special moment.
Very nice brunch/lunch in a beautiful setting. Food so-so, everything else fine.
Pricey but not outrageous. Great place to stop at after a hike.
The view was beautiful at the restaurant but I was disappointed in the entree I ordered. I ordered the salmon. It smelled fishy when the dish was placed in front of me and when I took the first bite it didn't taste right and after my second bite I left my meal untouched.
I was not impressed with the quality of the food.
Very nice spot, even on a rainy day. Portions were on the light side, taste and presentation were very good. Service was great.
Very nice restaurant, however the food leaves alot to be desired.
They say they serve fresh fries, they appear to be frozen, either that or they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time, soggy and barely warm.
Mussels were a bit off, obviously they had been around for a while, plump but had a off taste, not inspiring.
View is mostly blocked by trees, and the noise from the bridge traffic is annoying.
Burger was good. Service (Anna?) was fantastic
Ferguson Tearoom has better views, much better food, more variety and great service. Your choice
Views were lovely and the service ok but thought the food was definitely over priced for the quality.
Wasn’t what I expected, closed early and was very loud for the traffic on the road nearby. Food selection is small and expensive, local beer was nice at happy hour.
Setting and food were great. Service lacked a bit. Made our reservation over a month ago & when we arrived, we were seated in the corner of the deck with no view. Had to ask to move. Then had to call our server over every time we needed something.
Great happy hour deals. Beautiful view. Good for any occasion.
I was really disappointed that I asked for a table with a view for my father-in-law's birthday and for our visiting guests. We were placed at a table that did not really have a view at all with lots of open table at the north end of the patio being open and showcasing a spectacular view of the corner of the lions gate bridge and North Vancouver. Unfortunately I was a little late so the rest of our party was already seated so I did not ask to be moved. I'd selected Prospect Point Bar and Grill because of the location and on a recommendation. I was truly disappointed.
Great location, wonderful views. The service was outstanding, can’t think of a place I’ve been to that was better, and the food was great too. We had a memorable time , and would recommend the Prospect Point Bar and Grill to anyone.
The service was the area for improvement. We felt rushed and the servers were scramble-y. One tried to take a way a plate with some food on it that we were still eating from and would’ve if I hadn’t told him we were still eating. Overall, I feel the service was just that they were young and inexperienced. Nothing horrific, they just need more time, exposure and training.
Our server was great and the kitchen was super accommodating. We had a lovely meal and would happily recommend Prospect Point to others. Would like to see better value snd imagination in the side dishes. Salad and French fries are sad side fodder for your main dishes.
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We reserved a nice table on the balcony. It was a sunny day, but our table had shade - which was great. The meal was good. To top it off, our server knew we were celebrating our anniversary and went over and above to help us to enjoy our experience. Overall, Prospect Point Bar and Grille is a pleasant, casual dining venue with a nice West Coast architectural vibe and good food.
Loved the food! And the happy hour discount is the best in Vancouver! We were expecting a better view but the food and service made up for the lack of view. Will definitely go back!
Location is amazing but parking is VERY challenging! The noddle salad was all noodles and sauce and very lacking on the veggies, kind of a bummer. My friends burger looked amazing but she said it was overcooked. Service was great and the renovations look amazing, but kind of wish the food was a bit more impressive.
Great view. Cafeteria food.
Food was mediocre
Price was high for the food quality
We ate outside with great views over the Lions Gate Bridge, though tables outside with a good view are limited, however, the terrace is a pleasant place to eat in fine weather. Service was very good, attentive without being intrusive. I started with the chowder, which was very tasty. It is a while ago now and I cannot remember what I ate for the main course but remember that i enjoyed my meal, as did my wife. The value was good, not cheap but not overly expensive.
Happy Hour items are excellent value. Sitting outdoors is like dining in a tree house, so relaxing.
Servers were efficient, friendly and attentive. Our server Anna was outstanding. Definitely will return.
Lovely service and patio; the mussels were a smidge overdone but a one off in comparison to the rest of our meal.
Nice cafe great position
Vacations with children
Food quality is better than one would expect from a tourist attraction. Good menu and drink selection.
Setting is amazing, and being able to get an ice cream and watch the view after a meal, as well as access to Stanley Park are big pluses.
Very nice . recently upgraded and open till 9pm
Friendly server and goid value
Great location. Not enough selection of food.
It's my family's annual tradition to visit and enjoy a relaxing lunch on their patio, before the busy summer tourist season. Our experience has been great year-after-year. Their poke dish this time was good, service very friendly, and atmosphere is nice. The only minor criticism is the anxiety of finding parking around this area. Even before noon on a weekday, parking is hit or miss with the limited stalls in the vicinity.
The setting is lovely. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. We had a very enjoyable meal !
Great service, delicious food and the most beautiful views!
Daughters 18th bday
Prospect Point was the perfect spot to dine while in Vancouver! They were extremely accommodating, and even sent a personal email to resolve our scheduling conflict. The food was divine, and the view cannot be beat. It was like dining and relaxing in your own piece of the forest. my 9-year old says she wants to come back to Canada especially to have that meal again! I cannot recommend this place enough. :)
Excellent food, service, and ambiance!
The view from my seating area was fantastic. You can see the North Shore mountains, the Lions Gate Bridge and the Burrard Inlet. Lots of mature trees around. You can hear the birds cheeping and nice breeze.
The lady waitress gave me excellent service. The only thing let me down (not the fault of the restaurant) was I didn't get my preferred seating location due to traffic congestion on the way to the restaurant.
The view from the deck is outstanding. The fact that the food is pretty good, the service is acceptable and the prices kind of reasonable (in a Vancouver sort of way) are just pluses. Eat here and enjoy the scenery.
Anna, our server, was exceptional! Courteous and professional service combined with delicious menu choices—excellent lunch.
I made a reservation for four which was confirmed. When I arrived I paid $7 for parking and then went into the restaurant and found the place was under construction. The manager paid my $7 for parking but couldn’t tell me why the site was still active for reservations. It was very upsetting as it was suppose to be a birthday lunch. We drove all the way from Coquitlam.
The waitress Anna was super nice. Full marks to her
However the serving staff literally served our main course as we were finishing our appetisers , in a “scramble “ to swap courses . Not sure why as it wasn’t busy and we weren’t in s rush
The appetisers were great but the mains ( fish ) were average at best
