How does a so called Pizzabar run out of pizza? Made a reservation for this restaurant and when we showed up we were sat by the bartender and he brought us a drink...our server took forever to come over to us and then finally did after about 10 minutes. She took our order and came back a few minutes later to let us know the were all out of "small pizzas". Are these pizzas all pre-made? If you have large pizzas, can't you therefore make small pizzas? The members of our party wanted individual choices so we opted to leave...and will definitely not return. Ended up going to the Pizza place inside Eataly in the Flatiron District which was great.

It was a nice meal. Good food, decent ambiance, great service. Our pizza took a little bit longer than usual, so the staff kindly offered it on the house. Nice experience overall.

We showed up for our 8 pm reservation and half the restaurant's lights were out, with chairs already stacked on the table as if they were ready to close. No one approached us as we stood in the doorway, after making eye contact several time with the waiters and bartender. Too weird.

On arriving to the restaurant, i asked the staff member to check me in on open table. He said he didn't need to & i could just cancel it on my end? It took a long time for us to be able to order, i had to flag the waiter down. The salad we ordered was not as expected. The pizzas were good, great value also. my silverware was dirty. it is not a place i would return to.

Looks like a counter service place, but has a bar and dining room off to the right side. Our (friendly & attentive) server was also the bartender which was said to have been because Sundays are slow. We were looking for a decent place to eat before a show and found a table open at a convenient time with better than average reviews within our price point. We both had margherita pizzas; the basil came out separately and didn't look the best, but we picked through and had enough to satisfy us. We overheard the server tell another table that they don't have tea, lemonade, rootbeer or cream soda; which seemed like pretty common drink choices elsewhere. It didn't affect our meal in any way as we ordered water with lemon. We received a discount by booking with the OT app. We took half of each pizza home, as the portions at least for pizza were generous- eliminating the possibility of trying the cannoli.

Though the open table app said it was open at 11 am (got reservations at 11am) they were not. When I tried to ask about service, staff was not friendly at all. Don’t show up before 12 pm

The hostess wasn't going to seat us because she said the seating area was closed. I told her we had a reservation and it was only 8:30 and the place closes at 10. She did let us sit but we ended up being the only people there. We felt very rushed and it had terrible ambience. Plus $12 for a simple bowl of pasta. Not a great experience at all!

The sit-down Prova restaurant was a great place for lunch with co-workers. We split a pizza that came in 6 huge slices. The food quality was good, the utensils were a little dull, but we had a perfect table to sit 7-8 people. The lines for the take-out were long! But I highly recommend getting the full service because the restaurant is a lot more quiet than the Grand Central Dining Concourse area.

basically a fast food joint with waitress in food court of grand central. no bathrooms!! you have to use the disgusting public train station bathrooms.
