As the name suggests, P.S. Steak was established to continue the story of the historic space that was once famed La Belle Vie. As Chef Mike DeCamp spent 10 years at the former French restaurant, this will be his homecoming and opportunity to write his own chapter for the space. P.S. Steak disrupts the perceptions of a typical steakhouse while honoring the legacy of one of the great culinary foundations in the Twin Cities.
The restaurant features an elevated yet accessible seasonal menu, along with a variety of cuts of meat, dry aged in a display case.
The lounge has been given a modern makeover with chic furniture and marble table tops. A selection of living floor plants divides tables to create intimate seating. Bringing warmth to the room, the bar and adjacent fireplace keeps guests cozied up to a menu of progressive cocktails.

Our recent visit to PS Steak in Minneapolis for a family bonding gentlemen's dinner was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Declan, our gracious host for the evening, who set the tone for what would be an unforgettable dining experience. We began our night with craft-made cocktails, each one more impressive than the last, expertly recommended by Declan himself. His knowledge of the menu and attention to detail made us feel like we were in the best hands. To start our meal, we indulged in fresh oysters on the half-shell, followed by the rich and decadent A5 Wagyu steak—each bite was a melt-in-your-mouth experience. Declan’s wine recommendations were spot-on, with generous pours that perfectly complemented each course of our multi-course, four-hour feast. The ambiance of PS Steak was equally impressive, with its sophisticated decor providing the perfect backdrop for our evening. The elegant interior design, from the plush seating to the tasteful lighting, enhanced the overall experience, making it a night to remember. We had a wonderful time and celebration-! Our Waiter was THE BEST-! The upstairs dining room with the small bar should not be considered a DINING ROOM ! Especially for SPECIAL dinner and one should be told so! Very LOUD !! Room settled down but was very disappointing ! Thank You

Celebrating a family birthday, we were seated in a lovely corner round booth. The menu had lots of choices, but I was there for steak. Unfortunately, my small Denver steak had more fat than I would have liked, but the small pot of potatoes and cheese WAS heavenly! (Gailot?) The Asparagus was tender but crisp and the baked Alaska was spectacular! But soon after our meal, I began to not feel well, but was fine the next day! Maybe I’m just not used to such rich food? So, I’d say they earned a 4.75☺️

Our server April was extremely professional and explained the various meats, accompaniments. The bartender Declan/Duncan (sp), also extremely professional and walked us through the various cocktails - I choose a vesper whilst my partner had a whiskey sour. Really well done, excellent food, outstanding service and amazing ambiance!

Very cool atmosphere but the food was the real issue. Salad was wilted. Steaks were below average for the price. The mashed potatoes were awful with a glue-like texture. The server kept trying to push the most expensive cuts of meat on us. Over priced as you would expect for a good steakhouse. The problem was the food just wasn’t worth it.
