   The food at the Sunday brunch was terrible. A solid piece of fat masquerading as pork belly. Corned beef sliced and burnt to a crisp. Tons of potatoes. None of the 4 means was any good.

   Great spot for dinner and drinks. Even with my dietary restrictions, I could still find something on the menu to eat and the waitress was very helpful. Dairy free dessert options would be a great addition to the menu.

   This was an exceptional start to a fabulous evening. We walked into the Burgundy Lion, which was quite busy at 6:00 pm (for a 5:30 pm reservation) and were extremely delighted to have our table waiting for us. Will definitely revisit this Pub again. 5 Stars Rating all around !

    Stopped by to watch the Man. City game & had a great time. Nice Ploughman's lunch, good company, & wonderful service to boot.

    We went here for a family lunch early Christmas Eve. No Christmas atmosphere at all. Very dull . We were looking for a fun British pub with some festive spirit none here. Food just ok, server very polite, beer nice. Just disappointed as far as a British pub goes on Xmas Eve. No Xmas hits , no decorations in pub other than a tree in outside atrium . The place had other big family groups just something missing. We will look fir another spot next year.

    I liked all of it except my salmon ( my friend too) was burned. It didn't mind too much but my friend couldn't eat it so it was a bit disapointed and at one point, the music was so loud, we were screaming to understand our conversation. I think maybe someone told them because the level went lower. Except these points, we enjoyed ourselves enough to go back again soon!

    The two of us were seated upstairs in the quieter area of the restaurant, but it was still pretty loud. One had the roast beef dinner, which was fine, and extra horseradish was requested and provided. The other ordered the hangar steak (known for flavour rather than tenderness: OK) and fries, which was close to inedible. The steak was cooked medium rare, as ordered, but was so tough as to be difficult to cut even with a steak knife. Worse was that it was drenched in a salty peppercorn sauce that also covered most of the fries which already had a salty parmesan topping. I think the servers should let diners know about the amount of sauce so it could be requested on the side. Service was fine; attentive enough even though the place was full.

    Je suis allé voir le match CAN vs USA au soccer un vendredi soir avec un ami. Belle ambiance, la bouffe était bonne, sans être extraordinaire. J'ai beaucoup aimé la Lager maison, mais beaucoup moins l'autre bière que j'ai goûtée. Service rapide et efficace. Je reviendrai!

    Dommage que ce soit trop bruyant et que nous avions eu une table placée en plein passage des serveurs de la cuisine à la salle. Les serveurs heurtaient à toutes les 5 minutes ma chaise ou moi-même. Le repas était vraiment bon avec un prix un peu élevé. Beaucoup trop de monde et peu de place pour manger. Les chaises ne sont pas confortable du tout et vraiment trop bruyant pour pouvoir converser à 2 ou plusieurs.

    Une magnifique découverte. Un service impeccable, des plats riches en saveurs et portions généreuses. Un décor digne des plus beaux pubs anglais ! Le seul hic : notre table était situé dans un couloir entre les cuisines et le bar. En ayant réservé notre table, nous nous attendions à une meilleure place en salle. Nous demanderons simplement une bonne table la prochaine fois.

    We were there for lunch and order a steak with frites. The steak was chared on the outside and the taste of the burn didn't allow any other flavor to stand out. I will go back but will avoid anything that comes from the grill in the future.

    Plates were good and portions were large. Food prices were just ok, a bit on the expensive side. Noise levels are very high, but I guess it’s normal for a pub. Service was slow, it took a while for the waitress to take our orders for drinks and then again a while for the food orders.

    Upon our arrival we were greeted with a smile. Or waitress was fluent in both English and French and knew the menu by heart. She conversed with us on different subjects and came back a couple times to check on our satisfaction. The food was great and got and the whiskey melted like caramel in your mouth.     We come here all the time. The one time we brought another restauranteur the service was horrible and as he speaks French, he heard our waiter talking about us. We live here so quite embarrassing.
