   The soup was amazing, would go back to try other items on the menu! Burger was average but tasty. Restaurant is nice and well spaced out, the ambiance was nice at first, but got quite loud around us as the night progressed.

   Service and ambiance are exceptional, and I would go back every day for that butternut squash soup. I expected a lot given my experience at Burgundy Lion, and this definitely delivered. <3

    C'était notre deuxième visite et j'ai été désappointé par le plat de moules , par contre la serveuse a écouté et nous a offert les cafés avec gracieuseté.

    Barman was welcoming , waitress at table was great. Her suggestions are what we went for. She was on the ball with all of it . Brussel sprouts , gravlax and tartar ( which was my favorite ) for Appetizers. Then Mussels and Trout for Mains. YUMMY Over all we loved it and enjoyed ourselves very much.

    We loved this place and would return. Its location in the old city was perfect. There were some glitches however. One was that no where was it indicated that the regular menu would be be changed to a special selection for NYE. We selected the restaurant in part for online menu and were somewhat disappointed. While we had made reservations, we failed to confirm via the open table app until late. When we arrived, our reservation was given away and we were told that pressing the confirm button on the email was insufficient. We're supposed to call. It all worked out. We were eventually seated and had a great time. But customers beware: this is a busy and popular place so it may pay to get more info ahead of time and double check reservations.

    The acoustics in this restaurant were deafening. I also found the menu to be confusing and not clearly defined. I felt the meal was priced high for the quality of food that we received.

    Très beau décor, emplacement super au cœur du Vieux-Montréal, service chaleureux et sympathique. Il pourrait y avoir plus de choix de vin au verre (seulement 3 blancs et 3 rouges). Il n’y avait plus de gravlax (même si nous étions les seules clientes présentes, un mercredi soir à 18h). La terrine de truite était délicieuse. Par contre, la poutine était ordinaire et les moules à la bisque de homard semblaient plutôt baigner dans une sorte de minestrone peu savoureuse. La plus grande déception cependant se situe au niveau du tartare de bœuf servi sur os à la moëlle. Pire tartare que j’ai mangé de ma vie. Et la moëlle était caoutchouteuse. Je n’ai pas eu envie de le terminer. Dommage...

    The service was excellent. The waiters are very down to earth and funny. We told them what we liked as food in general and asked them to pick off the menu for us and we love it all. We would definitely go back there. It's a very laid back ambiance and worth the trip.

    Got a chance to try the new winter menu and everything was amazing. What also impressed me was that they were participating in MealShare which is a very cool initiative. Kudos!

    Absolutely wonderful,=. We ate here two nights in a row. The lamb madras pie was amazing. James was so attentive to us, made us feel like we were old friends.

    The restaurant itself is a beautiful space with 3 distinct areas to choose from depending on what kind of group you are with. The drinks were great, especially the bottomless mimosas for brunch. Everyone loved their food and a couple people even commented that the lamb curry was one of the best things they've ever eaten. Will definitely return!
