   Have eaten here before and enjoyed the restaurant. Returned on Mother’s Day in the evening and not very busy. Inside was extremely hot so we asked to sit outside. Our server was friendly but didn’t come by often. Was given dirty dishes with cheese stuck to them. When ordering was told we could get fries, Brussel sprouts or salad as our side. Turns out if you want a very small salad as your side they charge an extra $6. Didn’t find this out until our check came and was charged an extra $12. Very expensive for what we got won’t be returning.

   We went on Mother's Day 2023, it was busy but not packed. Our food was good but the food was overshadowed by poor service which was so slow, no refills on drinks, a forgotten meal that came 15 minutes after everyone else's, and the A/C wasn't working. It was way too hot to be comfortable in the restaurant on the 90+ day. Disappointing experience for our group of 7.

   The hostesses were accommodating and friendly, food was pretty good, and overall ambience was lively and fun. The downside was horrible service. Our male server was unfriendly, unenthusiastic, and inattentive. My husband finished his initial drink, and we basically didn’t see our waiter again for the duration of the meal. He ate his entire entree without a drink. To make matters worse, the waiter walked by a half-dozen times and didn’t bother to check in. When he finally showed up with our bill, my husband jokingly said “ I ate my whole meal without a drink”, the waiter was fairly indifferent and offered a lame apology. I worked in hospitality for 7 years…at this point we should’ve been offered some kind of compensation (I.e. complimentary dessert, something removed from the bill, etc). Nope. Loved everything about the place but they need to ramp up server training and qualifications bc sadly we won’t be returning or recommending. Too many other options in the area to waste our time and money with bad service.

   We ate here for the first time after going to an Aviators game. The overall experience was very disappointing. We sat outside. Our table wasn’t clean and was in need of repair. The service was below average. There were three of us. We ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, and fish and chips. All had fries. I had the fish and chips. The presentation was poor. Fries on one side of the plate and two pieces of fish on the other-no garnish, etc. It tasted like the fries and fish had been deep fried in old, overused oil. The fish batter was crispy but lacked texture and the fish inside was mushy. The other two meals were below average. The women’s restroom wasn’t clean, only a few paper towels on the counter, empty paper towel dispensers and the trash was overflowing.

    I’ve been here a few times with friends for happy hours, brunch, dinner etc but Sunday (Easter) was the least favorable visit. Restaurant wasn’t really busy, our reservation was at 11:45 for 8 of us. Our waiter was ok… took our orders, and did check after food came out to see if we needed anything, condiments. Our water glasses went un-refilled, those at our table how other drinks weren’t offered refills. We had to ask for plates and silverware when our appetizers came and then we were still short one set up so I grabbed one from another table. Then after the appetizers were completed, none of the plates were cleared away. I picked up everyone’s plates and put them on a nearby empty table. I would have understood if they were busy, but it really wasn’t. The food was ok, came out fairly quickly but the service definitely was a bummer.

    Public School - Las Vegas is an awesome spot…welcoming & lively vibe, friendly service (Thank You Josalina), solid beer selection, and a delicious menu…our favorite bite is their Guinness Short Ribs…and the ‘Green Beer’ for St. Patrick’s Day was a fun & festive touch…for a fun, casual bite, I recommend Public School - Las Vegas

    This review is for April 1, 2023. We had a reservation for 6:30 PM through OpenTable from the beginning the hostess staff was unorganized and rude. They finally sat us at a table that was absolutely filthy. The seating had food all over it, and on the bottom of the table, where you sit with your feet, there was pieces of meat, crumpled up paper, and other pieces of food all over, and is totally filthy, I asked the hostess if we can get the table clean all she did was wipe down the seats I said before it’s filthy I don’t wanna sit with my feet in this dirty table, can I get another table she refused She says oh well, you could sit in the bar area if you don’t want this table, we don’t have any other tables but meanwhile they’re a bunch of tables empty I asked to speak to manager. Manager came out and she was no better, seemed like she thought that to clean the bottom of the table with food from other customers was a big gesture to ask. Apparently they don’t think it’s a big deal to seat customers in a filthy booth with food all over the floor, she finally agreed to have the area cleaned, which took forever and at that point, I told them I’m leaving cancel my reservation. I told them your place is filthy and your service is horrible. She said OK. We’ll cancel it. Have a nice day and they were rude to the last minute. I will never eat here again, and I can only wonder what the kitchen may be like, as far as being dirty, based on how they leave their tables for customers to eat at. Disgusting restaurant. Instead of Public School I will refer to this restaurant as “PUBLIC TOILET “.

    The menu looked wonderful that is why we went there. We actually went for the fish and chips. 2 measly pieces of fish that looked like large pretzel sticks and the chips were like McDonalds fries. Cost us over 50.00. Very hard to find restaurant and when we finally found it we saw it was upstairs and the escalator was not in service. Would not return.

    Food has always been great. Service this time, not so much and they weren’t busy at all and we could never find our server. She also forgot to refill as well as requested sides but business was still discussed and I won’t let one bad server determine if we dine there again.

    Server was absolute top notch, great personality and speedy and super attentive, shes a keeper! Also, manager came by to check on us, nice. Noise level was too loud. We had to yell over the table. Food was boring, fish n chips, steak salad.... meh, forgettable. Not a bad experience, nor too overpriced, but nothing memorable either

    Southwest chicken bowl was dry. Asked for salsa or similar. Cilantro lime crema was recommended and helped taste it up. They were honest that chicken tenders were over done so my nephew had a wait for his plate to be re-done and come out. Adam was attentive and helpful. Two managers came by to check up on us so that was nice. The usual meals like the PB & J burger, fish tacos, curry, pizza, pretzels, loaded tots and Mac & cheese never disappoint.

    Meet with two couples for a casual early NYE dining. It worked so well for the three couples. Service was very good. Hostess and waiter could not have any nicer! It can be a little noisy but not overwhelming. Will return another day.

    Food was amazing!! Good menu selection however there was poor service. We sat along the row behind the hostess. We kept getting forgotten about, we had to wave down the hostess because we didn’t have drinks for over 15 minutes and had to stop eating bc we had no drinks. Then our waiter came over and only got me a refill not my father till we got our check. It was his birthday and wanted to take him out for a good night however the food was the only good thing about the night. Also they had a live band and the music was just too loud. We get it’s a live band but having to yell into the persons ear your sitting next to us just awful.

    Even though we made a reservation, we had to wait almost 30 minutes and could not get the table we wanted. I understand that this is the busiest time of the year but I expected that they needed to prepare. When I called them prior to the event, I asked the hostess if I was able to bring our own cake since they didn't have any cake on their menu. She said I could but they have to charge $20 for bringing our cake. I agreed because I didn't have any other choice. When we ordered our food I asked our server about an additional $20 charge, and he said never heard of that extra charge. Why the hostess said that to me?? Tried to charge more?? I don't understand. Service was really really slow and the food was just ok. Would not go back.

    The food was very good, but the service was very lacking. We went at 4:15pm on a Saturday night. So, I don’t know if it was because we were too early? But, we were going to a parade at 6pm. We were sat in the bar area. There were other servers in the bar area, but for some reason the bartender was our server. It took him at least 10-15 minutes to greet us, I think because he wasn’t interested in serving us. We were about to leave when he came over. He checked on us maybe twice. I had to go to the bar to order a dessert. The food was good. I got the fish tacos and it was a nice piece of cod. They had pub style food. The decor was cute as it was school themed. I won’t be running back, but may give it another try someday.

    When we got there they told me kitchen was closed at 10:30. I was waiting to get seat for 10 minutes because all the employees were eating and nobody was able to take me. Horrible experience
