   Excellent meal at Puritan & Company! Service was spot on and personable. Unhurried. Outdoor seating was perfect for a warm evening. Oysters, salads, fried mushrooms (highly recommended) and scallops. Could not say no for dessert — worth every morsel!

   We're so glad we chose Puritan & Co. for a special family dinner. Stellar service, warm vibe, downright inspired cooking, and an amazing bar. There's talent and thought behind each detail, yet they make it all seem effortless. Highly recommend.

   A really wonderful experience, start to finish. It's really nice going out for a meal and truly being treated like a welcomed guest. The food was great, coffee and dessert was great, cocktails and wine were great.

   Another spectacular meal at Puritan! We came to celebrate a graduation but have been here previously for just an excellent dining experience. We shared several plates: smoked bluefish pâté, strip loin carpaccio, burrata, pork belly, garlic shrimp and fava beans, clam chowder, crab toast, and barbecue beets. Every dish was delicious. Our big favorites were the pork belly (got 2 orders!), burro, and the BBQ beets. No losers here, though. We enjoyed all the dishes. We also ordered one main - the cast iron ribeye, medium rare - and that disappeared quickly! So yummy. Casual atmosphere in the restaurant, perfect amount of attention from the server, delicious food and good location. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

   The food was incredible. I was with a diner that sent a steak back three times because it wasn’t done “medium.” If you know steak, you know that’s almost an impossible request in the restaurant, biz. But my food and the other diner’s food and the dessert were all amazing. Highly recommend the scallops and the pasta.

    We have had two delightful dinners there recently. In both cases the cocktails and food were both imaginative and very good (I recommend the cod very highly) and the service was prompt and efficient. In addition, Sara is clearly a very inviting and competent manager.

    Had our anniversary dinner here. A wonderful experience. The attention to even the smallest details was impressive. We were even served champagne complimentary for our celebration! All around a great experience and we will definitely be back.

    Overall a good restaurant. We had the garlic shrimp, beef carpaccio, scallops, and orchid tree w/ragu. The food was prepared well. I just wish it came piping hot. I would go back.

    Took my wife there for her birthday. We’ve lived in Boston together for over 20 years and we’ve often said how lucky we are to have a great food scene. It’s been hard to find new places to dine out that we haven’t been to before. Puritan and Company was outstanding. The Parker house rolls were amazing. Bar seats superb- everything start to finish was top notch… how do I know? My wife said to me as we were walking out… “ top 5 meals of my lifetime”. Boom. Go check it out! 5 stars all the way!

    We had the $75 set menu which was excellent value for a 4 course meal. You do not know what’s dishes you’ll get in advance but our waiter let us know that the set menu that day was all seafood. Standouts included a uni/caviar toast appetizer and pound cake with macerated strawberries. Would highly recommend for a special meal!

    Prices are simply ridicolous, will never step foot there. $150 before tip with a salad, the cheapest bottle of wine and a course that we shared in two. Stay away.

    We got the tasting menu; it was seafood-based. While the food was generally good, it was also mediocre and not worth the occasion or the sub-Michelin star prices. Our favorite item was something we ordered in addition to the tasting menu. Our service took a very long time between the second and third course - the restaurant was getting busy and it was obvious they were struggling to get dishes out quickly enough. Additionally, the staff struggled to set the table correctly. I would go back to the restaurant again, but not for a special occasion, event, or business dinner. I would recommend it for a casual dinner out.

    Another great restaurant in Greater Boston. Food prepped with care. Good menu variety. Top notch seasonal ingredients. Creative tasty cocktails. Eclectic wine selection, with some very good values. With so many choices in the Boston area, we would gladly go back again.

    This is one of our favorite restaurants so we were excited to try their Easter Sunday brunch and made a reservation as soon as we saw it! Unfortunately, when we got there, we were seated at the very last table in the back room. It’s not like the front room was full, there were maybe two of all of them that were taken. Instead we got sat at a 4 top in the very back as a 2 person party. The food as always was amazing, it just felt like our loyalty was just a little betrayed? Getting sat so far in the back felt like an insult. Almost because we are a young couple and it was assumed we weren’t good enough to be seen eating there? We will still be back, just a little disappointed. I wish the seafood risotto was back already though, best meal I’ve ever had.

    Service was laking. Food was mediocre: steak wasn't seasoned, clam chowder had no flavor or depth, martini's were not cold. Everything felt very airport food. Nothing special or great. Felt like kitchen wasn't being overseen by anyone who cared.
