Food was fantastic. Louis our server was attentive and provided great suggestions regarding the menu items. Will include on our list of places to revisit while in the city.
First we were told they couldn’t seat us until, our whole party was present but ten minutes later we notice other people are sitting alone and rest of party arrives later.n when we point this out they seat us at an uncomfortable table -there as practically no space between table and sitting person so we as,Ed to be changed to a booth. Much better, no bread was ever offered. We ordered drinks and dinner and pointed out we had a play together to. Our steaks were all over cooked- pink center was not there and it tasted dry. The corn brûlée was excellent and I wished it was bigger for $16. The charred Brussels sprouts were ok.. not much taste to them.
We ordered dessert and that was the best fo Me- my floating island was perfect and delicious for sure.coffee was not very good atall and no one offered a second cup.
To their credit they did give us desserts on the house; I assume to make up for the overcooked beef but no one said a word to us. Overall expected more- especially at these prices.
We were looking forward to our lunch at Quality Bistro but we were very disappointed in the quality of the dishes we ordered. Two of our party ordered the spicy Tuna Nicoise. It was basically slices of tasteless tuna on a chopped salad with none of the other ingredients traditionally served with this dish. My lobster salad had small pieces of lobster, almost no avocado—lost in lettuce awash in dressing. We would have complained or sent back our dishes but we were with friends we hadn’t seen in years and didn’t want to spoil our get together.
We were seated immediately even though our entire group had not yet arrived . Our waiter was so professional and courteous. Drinks, apps and dinner was served in a relaxed yet timely manner. The food was delicious, good menu .
We will visit again
First meal in awhile where my expectations were exceeded. Staff was friendly professional and made excellent recommendations. Food and drink was excellent. I will definitely go back.
Beautiful atmosphere, but not too many options on the menu and quite expensive. Individual plates around $50 without any sides. Sides are around $16-20 each.
Great food and attentive staff
We couldn’t be happier w our experience here. It’s expensive but they totally came through on our late dinner. We almost bailed when they told us the kitchen “hard closes” at ten for our 930 reservation but they stayed open for us! Our final food order went in at 10:28 and my steak anyway was perfection. Thank you to our server the manager and the kitchen folks for making our special night perfect. I will be back and I will be singing their praises for some time. Get the street cabin!
The food was fantastic but the service fell a bit short. Given that I am an open table VIP member I would have expected that They would seat us in a booth type seating or one against the wall as there were those seats available for 2. I had noted it was an anniversary celebration as well and they did not do anything special and felt that the server was not very attentive to even ask us how our meal was Etc I would have expected a little more given my good experiences with Quality Meats and Quality Italian that I have frequently dined in over the years.
Everything was ‘absolutely perfect! Nice job!
The dishes, escargots, steak frites' strip sirloin and a thick prime sirloin steak were perfectly prepared and delicious. Service was spotty. That could be the result of under staffing or just an unexpectedly busy night but at the end of the meal I could not find our male server and therefore left my seat to ask the hostess to find him. He did not return, but a manager named Brett or Brent appeared at our table with the bill and an apology and asked whether we enjoyed our meal. After we stated that the noise coming from a table of 8 men and women was unpleasant and very loud. The manager could not have been more professional. He offered us after dinner drinks and on his own initiative deleted our earlier cocktails and dessert from our bill. It was our first experience at Quality Bistro and now we know that where we sit can make a marked difference in our enjoyment of the Bistro's wonderful dishes.
For a special meal, look no further. Quality Bistro matches the expectations and experiences I’ve had at other sister restaurants. Thank you!!
Food was very good - the service however was not very good - we even asked the waitress if she was having a bad day - long wait times and abrupt conversations with her
Delicious food, great location and luxurious décor.
harming venue; excellent service staff across the board.
Perfect place to celebrate an anniversary. The butter service was awesome for sharing and enjoyed the Moroccan chicken for two. Our server was wonderful throughout our entire dinner. I plan to tell everyone to dine at Quality Bistro.
Great place, Amazing Food!!
It was my first by time visiting we live on Long Island …First time back in the city it was the most pleasant experience I had an a long time! I am in the restaurant business and I know how hard it can be it was an amazing time excellent food amazing service!!
Awesome food and just an incredible experience all around!!
Only my second time here and I will be back as we loved everything. I had the filet mignon with the pepper sauce, it was so tender and delicious. I rarely get desert but it was a friends birthday so we had two for our party of four. The pistachio creme brulee was insanity. I strongly recommend it. We ate inside but they have added a great outdoor addition for those who prefer outdoor dining.
Great experience at this restaurant. Besides the food and drink quality the service was excellent. Rosa was very patient and accommodating about when to put our food and drink orders in thinking about my guest being stuck in traffic as well as the show we were trying to make after. She timed it perfectly. Manager, Brett, came out himself to make sure food allergy needs were taken care of. Everyone rallied to find the key to the accessible bathroom when we were leaving. We were definitely kind of accidentally high maintenance guests that night but Quality Bistro handled everything, beautifully. Thank you!
Food was great. We were pre-theater so a little rushed but would definitely go back
The place is gorgeous and looks like a good place for a special event if you can afford it!
Amazing food, amazing and accommodating staff, cannot wait to return!
First time dining out in a long time and Quality Bistro didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent. Food excellent. Prices felt a bit high but YOLO.
Great service, wonderful ambiance food was delicious.
Lobster was over sauced! Waiter was not friendly nor particularly helpful.
Have been here before and was a great experience. This past visit - service was ok - food was cold/ that’s the steak for $150 for 2 and the chicken came out while we were still having our apps. The server looked bewildered and we told him to take it back.
This place is charging for excellence - that’s not what their serving. Unfortunately.
Great food, unique experience. Strongly recommended
First time visiting but not sure I’d be back, a lot was good but an equal amount was a little off.
There seemed to be some sort of breakdown happening between FOH and BOH. Transitions between courses were not smooth — not enough time between courses to finish food and/or have silverware reset. If you’re going to require ordering everything all at once this seems like a huge miss.
Steak drastically under seasoned (and table next to us who also had steak asked for salt so seemed to be a theme) but cooked to temp.
The number of employees felt overwhelming at times because they were constantly having to do gymnastics to avoid colliding with each other and guests, often resulting in them being in the personal space of tables.
Also found it strange that during a prolonged pandemic the preset wine glasses were just placed back on a shelf to be used again if a table didn’t order wine.
Our server was excellent! Our reservation was a 2pm and her as attentive and recommended such delightful items.
It took 30 minutes until anybody came to take our order..Wine came after the appetizers were served, and was not chilled enough. Food came not in the right order.. Silverware had to be asked for...etc.etc. never ever again.Especially for that price range.
All good but very pricy. A very small individual side of mash potatoes s $15. Too k in for what it was.
But outside seating area is fantastic. Good food and service.
Fue una experiencia familiar de compartir platos y momentos hermosos e inolvidables en un gran ambiente
Was a phenomenal experience, the bartender was amazing and it was a very delightful afternoon.
the food and ambiance were phenomenal but the service was abysmal. so much so that I actually reached out to the restaurant after I left via their contact me portion of their website AND via social media - both of which they completely ignored. I wouldn't go back based on principal alone. For context, though I am far into my 30s, I am still fairly young appearing and am a Black woman, as are the women that I dined with. I hate to say this, but this experience was fully reminiscent of the "they are young and minorities and won't tip so who cares anyway, don't waste your time" attitudes that I have gotten years ago. It's been a while since I have dealt with that but it was a brutal reminder that it still very much occurs.
Excellent choice for foodies to have fun - they live up to the their name, as everything they served was done in the spirit of "quality"... the recipes, the ingredients, the preparation, the portions and so on
We sat in the private outdoor cabins - What a treat! They were quiet and intimate. The food was EXCELLENT - it is worth the price. Dover sole, the filet oscar, brussel sprouts, corn creme brulee and pistachio creme bruelee were all serious winners!
The restaurant was insanely expensive for what we received. The $33 spring chicken entree WITH NO SIDES, had barely any actual chicken on the bones. My partner’s $60 steak WITH NO SIDES was merely satisfactory taste wise and on the small size. He ordered $16 French fries and it was a tiny bowl of shoe string fries that were slightly warm. As it was his birthday, we ordered the apple tartine. Fortunately our very sweet waitress did not charge us for dessert as it was tasteless. The only part of the meal we enjoyed were the cocktails specifically mine- the bistro spritz. The hostess was cold and dismissive upon arrival and that should have been a sign to leave. I would absolutely not go back which is unfortunate because Quality Meats and Quality Italian were wonderful experiences.
Beautiful outdoor seating in your own private booth. For the price the food was just ok, it wasnt bad but it was no more than decent enough. When I pay that much I would like to eat something that taste fabulous, I dont mind paying for that.
The service was excellent just wish they food was better.
