Very good food
well the food as always fabulous. You just have to love the crazy atmosphere - very loud and energetic.
Great food. I would recommend if you are looking for small plates/sharing plates. The only con about Quartino is that it is always extremely crowded and loud.
Excellent location for large groups and very reasonable price points!
Fun place to go with a big group. Lots of food options.
Had to wait 45 minutes even though we made a reservation because we wanted be seated outside. We were told that a table will be available in15 min but later told that it won’t be available anytime soon!!!!! Got seated at this random table where our server served the other table that were seated after us! Was very unhappy with the service!!! Was a perfect day with beautiful weather until I decided to dine at this restaurant!!
Delicious as always! Our faves are asparagus risotto and the eggplant. Love sitting outside on a beautiful evening.
Especially liked being able to buy bottles of wine for half price when we were leaving
We enjoyed all the things we ordered! Their pasta is homemade and amazing! Even the gluten free! Our server was knowledgeable about what ingredients were in the dish and the kitchen worked to accommodate our needs! Quartino never disappoints!
The food was fabulous and our server was a great help in suggesting portions. The atmosphere is bustling and lively.
Delicious per usual! Always on my list of restaurant recommendations.
Food was great, but it took forever for 2 of the dishes to arrive. Our server kept going back to check on the two missing items, but that didn’t seem to speed anything up. We got some desserts to go and they forgot one of the parts of the dish. Anyway, we enjoyed the overall experience and the food and wine were delicious. A great place for groups, small and large!
Great Italian shared plates - everything was great. I've dined here on 5 different occasions and always leave the place satisfied and ready to return. Service, food, and wine are all wonderful and the price is not bad. Each time the server has made us feel special. We enjoyed various pasta and seafood this time, and the desserts are great too.
Can't miss on food quality and our service was superb.
Service is always hit or miss here. Food is usually consistent. I'll keep coming back, but can't promise my tips will be great...as long as the service isn't.
What a fun dining experience. Every dish is delicious and fresh. The small plates let everyone share. The bread is warm and very tasty. The servers were very friendly and attentive. I love this place!
The food is always excellent; the service the best. We have never had a bad experience here and it has become a monthly treat!
Simply delightful - good food, good service! Tried as many things as possible off the menu. The waitress was very helpful and kept this moving along. Will have to come back for a date might with the hubby. Mom loved the outing for Mothers Day!
Went for Mothrrs day brunch, was skeptical on what appeared to be limited menu. Could not have been more wrong. Fabulous food, fabulous service. Family style sharing and all ages enjoyed our time. Great price point and wonderful day
This was my first time at Quartino and it was amazing!! We all shared food at the table and every single item was outstanding. The restaurant was packed but we never felt rushed and enjoyed the entire meal. Our server was very friendly and had no problems explaining the menu and giving recommendations.
The food has a rustic Italian flair served in small dishes to share much like tapas. Everything we had was flavorful and came out quickly from the kitchen. The downside is the tables are small and the room is noisy. Be sure to make reservations if you go on a Saturday evening.
Great food however really cramped in space. Overall really nice dinner.
Love this place! We eat here every time we are in the city. I’m picky about Italian food and these are the best cavatellis I’ve ever had!
The service could have been better. Our waiter came over only a few times to check on us. We waited 15 to pay because he hadn’t stopped back to our table after dropping the check off. The manager saw we were looking around for him and the manager stepped in so we could close out. The Brussel sprouts were hard! I Couldn’t even cut them with a knife.
This was our first trip to Quartino and we loved it. Our server made several recommendations--the small plates were perfect. We loved the meatballs and the homemade pastas. An added bonus was to see Lamole Chianti on the menu as we had visited Lamole a few years ago. The place is a little loud and crowded but we loved the vibe. We will go back when in Chicago.
Came here after reading all the awesome reviews. Plus they have cavatelli on the menu. Delicious!! Yes, it’s crowded, but it’s because the food is that good. Will be dining here every time we’re in Chicago.
50th birthday. They didn’t acknowledge it even though I put it in the comments though so that was disappointing.
Had a wonderful experience. Enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered and were accommodated with special requests. Even went back for dessert after the theater and were seated quickly during a busy night. Manager (Andy) was outstanding and really made sure we had a great dining experience.
Visit from NY
Loved this place
Excellent food choices
Will Be back
Exceptionally good Italian food. Very crowded, very noisy. Not a wide variety of gluten free options, but there are some. Gluten free pasta was very good. Enjoyed our meal, but the crowdedness of the restaurant and the overall noise level detracted from it. We were lucky to be in a corner. I can't imagine being in the center. We reserved with a note about it being a special occasion, but they didn't acknowledge that at all. I would recommend it, and I would go back.
After telling the waitress and hostess it was my girlfriends birthday they proceeded to sit us at a small table in the back of the restaurant. Then, at the end of the meal, they basically sat another table on top of us (pictured below). Those individuals needed to get up from their seats to let me out. After getting out we had to walk through the kitchen staging area to get to the front door as the guests on the other side of the the table had very little room as well.
Great food at a good price but the restaurant needs to do a better job of table/guest management.
Excellent food and service, but not easy to carry on a conversation.
John was awesome!! Very helpful with “inside” tips and help with gluten free options. Attentive without hovering. Was our second visit in two nights! Miguel was also excellent on the previous night. Great wine recommendations and sense of humor with our fun-seeking group of four.
Great atmosphere, good food , nice ambiance
Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere
Great vibrant place great for groups as it is noisy in there. Very happy and vibrant scene.
Excellent. Food is very good and fun to share. Friends loved it will go back again
Had a rez, called because we were running behind, no problem holding a table for us. An invitingly bustling place, almost but not quite too loud for conversation. Service was friendly and timely. Food and wine exceptional for the price. Only food hitch was both I and friend got a cup of chicken soup; one cup had almost no chicken and the other was almost entirely chicken! Kinda funny, actually. I definitely recommend this restaurant, for tourists or locals (I was a tourist).
Terrible pizza, just ok rissoto
Great for a large group, excellent food.
