We had a group of 10 and recieved prompt service and the food came out reasonably quickly for a party of that size. Pub fare was above average.
A great place for large groups, not too noisy and lots of room. Food was great. I had the devil egg Cobb salad which was amazing. The shrimp tacos where a hit too. Also the chicken curry. Will defo be back.
Fish and chips are the best in the city. Server was great! Will definitely visit again.
We reserved Queen Anne for an after work event, celebration and birthday. They were extremely accommodating and the service was exceptional. Our server Ran went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed ourselves. He even stored the birthday cake so that it was kept a secret and put candles on the cake! This was our first time at this pub but it definitely won’t be the last. Loved the decor and ambience and the private room that we were given for our party of 15.
The service was very slow. We were late for our movie.
Absolutely lovely interior. Very cosy and comforrable seating. Food was delicious and quite reasonably priced for downtown.
Will go again!
I loved the place. I wish the menu was a little larger, but I'm looking forward to returning soon. Service is stellar, the ambiance is amazing.
The food, and service were great. But the place was bloody freezing, I appreciate it was very cold outside, and they do have high ceilings. But we all had to keep our coats on inside
Service was very slow at times. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Food was just okay.
I very much enjoyed my meal, in particular the hot cheddar cheese and mushroom dip appetizer. The upscale English pub atmosphere was inviting and our server was outstanding - very informative of the menu selections. Be prepared for very large portion servings.
Great place. The menu has been expanded and updated since the first week and we were pleased to see that Mac n Cheese has been added.
Great ambiance, food and service. Very welcoming and friendly place. Now they have Mac n Cheese, it’ll probably be my new local’.
A friend and I sat in The Library which was away from the main restaurant. The noise level was acceptable for good conversation.
I enjoyed my meal and the beer offerings.
I was a “happy camper” and would recommend Queen Anne to many of my friends.
The Queen Anne was great! I had the fish and chips which were delicious, my only complaint is I didn't see very much parmesan on the chips. My server was able to give me wine recommendations and was very attentitive!
I submitted my review yesterday. LOL - LOL - LOL - LOL - LOL - LOL - LOL
We did not know that Monday was the first day of business since change of ownership/name change (from Anne Boleyn to Queen Anne). Sad to say the City of Toronto Hydro had a significant black out that put the entire City block, (bounded by Peter Street, Adelaide, John Street and Richmond), out. We gave it a try on Tuesday and were disappointed in a limited menu that offered nothing of exceptional interest. The Burger plate and the Fish and Chips were okay. I do like all the TVs. It will be better when they find a second channel, or more.
