Queen Victoria Place Restaurant
With a fun and relaxed atmosphere, Queen Victoria Place features casual fare created with fresh local produce and ingredients. Offering both indoor and outdoor dining, our terrace is the perfect vantage point to enjoy free concerts and fireworks throughout the summer.
Located on the upper level of the Queen Victoria Place Complex, at the foot of Murray Street on the Niagara Parkway, Queen Victoria Place Restaurant is open seasonally. Wheelchair access is available through the entrance at the rear of the building
I have been going to Queen Victoria Place Restaurant for many years, it is my go to in Niagara Falls simply because of the beautiful view of Horseshoe Falls. The restaurant itself is completely overpriced and overrated. I hadn't been in many years and felt that the quality of food had really deteriorated.
Great view on the balcony and the food was delicious! You can tell the chef’s take pride in their menu.
Between three entrees and two appetizers, the soup and bread were good. Nothing else would make me want another bite, much less come back. The value should support the price. This did not.
Wine cool not cold
Didn’t regularly refill water
Food very ordinary. Could have done something better at home
We ate here for lunch and loved it so much that we booked it again for dinner! Easily the best view of the falls with the large dining space out on the patio. We also found the prices to be reasonable for the quality and portions!
The major reason to go to Queen Victoria Place Restaurant is for the view of the Falls. The food is average, although the service is professional and staff really want to make sure that you are happy with the meal. Wine options - such as choosing 4 x 2oz glasses to taste, or being able to choose a 6oz or 9oz glass were a real plus.
Overall mediocre food. View of falls is nice. Expected a more polished dining setting. Felt like sticky outdoor tables
Our server Donna was good! But that was it.. just good. She never asked us if we were celebrating anything, (which we were.. both our birthdays) and never asked if we were from out of town or locals. And when I tried making conversation with her, she never answered back.. she just kept talking about something else. Was almost like I was talking to a robot. I just wasn't wow'd. and for paying over $100 for a lunch in Niagara Falls.. I expect to be WOW'd.
Outstanding lunch time meal.
Love it! Fantastic view. Great service. Interesting food options.
It's a good place to go and have dinner and enjoy the views of the falls from both sides, New York and Canada. Food is good, service is also good.
The location with the falls view was perfect. Great location to see the fireworks show as well. The roasted chicken was a relatively small piece of chicken and the mashed potatoes were lumpy.
Food was not very good. Caesar salad was dry; dressing and chicken.
We enjoyed multiple leisurely delicious meals at this gem overlooking the falls while on our vacation. Especially enjoyed the view for the nighttime fireworks! Value is only lower as prices are high, but they’re also comparable to the other eateries, so at least we had fine ambiance!
We had a wonderful waiter. Only complaint was our steak was inedible and had to address the manager for compensation
The view is about all this place has going for it. Both the food and service were very disappointing, especially given the price.
Dined here for lunch with our family of 4. It was a bit of a splurge for us, but worth it! Food was very fresh and delicious, wait staff was friendly and attentive. Views of the falls made for a great, relaxing dining experience.
Cam was the best server and we had a great meal!
The view was great BUT, as for the service, saying that it was bad is an understatement.
Not only couldn’t we receive bread because we didn’t order on the fixe price menu, we had to wait 40 minutes for our plates.
Great dinner at a beautiful table on the balcony overlooking the falls. Great food and great drinks, we enjoyed everything we had. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Great view of the Fall. But the service was quite slow.
Wonderful place for a great dinner with a wonderful view of the Falls.
Came here for a late lunch, party of 9. Great view! Food was great, had a relaxing enjoyable lunch. Frozen drinks were wonderful! Our server was amazing, very attentive and always had a smile on her face.
Great view of horseshoe falls from the restaurant. The food was good but not exceptional. Prices were very reasonable. I would recommend it to anyone staying on the Canadian side of the falls and looking for a place to eat with a great view of the falls.
Très bon repas, mais servi relativement froid.
Excellent service et superbe vue sur les chutes...
When in Niagara Falls we dine at Queen Victoria Place every chance we can. Food is good but bar servers should be provided other than just bartenders. Could be because they weren't busy and didn't have enough staff.
Great views and excellent food! Service was good and food was local with local libations too. Even a kids menu. Plenty of seating
Great service and great food, and the view only made it better.
Justus is the best waiter.
Outstanding service and good food. Great place to enjoy the falls while visiting with friends
My family and I were vacationing in Niagara Falls and went to this restaurant for our last night to have dinner. The service was amazing. Food was delicious, but the real reason we went here was for the views. The falls were lit up and we could see the fire works display from our table. I suggest being seated at around 8:00-8:30 ish in order to see the lit up falls (8:40) and fireworks at 10:00. Perfect night! This was my entire family's favorite thing that we did on vacation.
PS our daughters are 9 and 6. Great kids menu and pre-fixed menu option for adults.
Our server, Carly, was absolutely wonderful! As was the food and the view of the falls!!!
The restaurant though should offer some sort of parking validation for costumers spending over $200 on their meal, paying $22 to park at the restaurant was ridiculous!!
Beautiful location. Great view of the Falls. They brought my daughter a special dessert for her birthday. Wonderful experience.
Food was ok but the views were worth the trip We got a table outside with amazing views of the falls.
Wonderful all the way around. I would definitely recommend this place and I plan to return if we visit Niagara again.
Wonderful restaurant went Saturday night but it was so good we went back Sunday night. Loved the way the food is locally sourced and everything tasted so good and fresh. The staff were friendly, informative and helpful with any requests and made us feel special. We were very fortunate our table on both nights gave us panoramic views of the falls, so you just couldn't beat it.
I heard about this place from a friend who said we really needed to go.
We were in town celebrating Mother’s Day and while they did not have a special Mother’s Day meal, it actually made it even better. We were served by Bridgette and she took great care of us. The weather was not great but sitting outside with the views, the window coverings and heaters, you couldn’t even tell how cold it was.
For apps, we ordered the fish tacos, the spicy bean meatballs and the arancini. They were all super delicious!
Main meals were chicken, turkey panini and white fish sandwich with fries. Everything was seasoned very well, crispy and hot! The kale slaw that came with the sandwiches tasty very good.
Dessert we ordered the raspberry gelato (seasonal and local from Clifton Hill) and the maple mouse cake. The mousse cake was light and tasty and the gelato was soooo good.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to going back soon for other meals.
This is my favorite place on either side of the falls. The food is great. The view amazing. Our server Chris was friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about items on both the food and drink menu. Torrey, who helped him with our large group was also great. I would never visit the falls without eating here.
Planning a birthday lunch, we started out at the Floral Showcase (paid $20.00 maximum for parking as I thought we could move around the different parking lots to find out we couldn't) - the parking was the only disappointing thing as we had to pay another $20.00 to park at the restaurant. The food was great and the service was also excellent - not the full menu that was listed on the website - and they didn't have the wine in stock that we would have liked but our server was excellent and they made the birthday celebration a success. Would definitely go back and know now about the parking fees!
