   Beautiful restaurant, comfortable, found it to be very easy to have conversation at the table even though it was packed and the noise level is quite high - think this has something to do with the unique ceiling design. Lots going on and service is exceptional and attentive. We really liked everything we tried - four of us shared a bunch of items. The older folks in party thought there was lots of food - three mains and four 'appetizer' options - but the 20 somethings felt they could have eaten more. Favourite dish was the Pork Secreto. Newfoundland Scallops were delicious, highly recommend and they come as 6 but restaurant will add or subtract to that as you like.

   Services was outstanding and willing to do seperate individual bills for group sharing. Bone Marrow with big Angentina shrimps were the best, unique & delicious dish amoung all my group ordered, more on the sweet side cause roasted honey; Tajima Rib Eye got some chewy ligaments and fat; Scallops taste exactly the same as Escargots from Le Select Bistro, simply parsley and butter, a mediocre dish.

   We enjoyed the non-alcoholoic mixed drinks we ordered and were happy to have chosen the chef's menu. They catered to food allergies well but sadly there was a chunk of the menu I couldn't try. The bar was fun but we did not have much space (<12in to the next party) so make sure to reserve early to get a table if you want a more intimate experience. Empanada was to die for but shaped more like a large taco. The fish was probably the best I've had.

   Good ambience with good eats. Highly recommend trying the Sea bream fish for all the seafood lovers. Our server was very helpful in directing us on what to pick and pair on the menu.

   Fabulous worthy of a two Michelin star. Thank you for a beautiful meal- kudos to the culinary team. We could see lots of upcoming talent in the kitchen. Thank you George for being so attentive and knowledgeable about our meal and then some. Hope to return soon!

    The food plating, combinations and menu choices were lovely but the charring on some of the dishes over powered the flavours to where even the sauce couldn’t mask it leaving a bitterness mouthfeel. We understood the goal of the dishes but the execution wasn’t finessed. It happens some nights, so no hard feelings; just sharing.

    The food was good overall. We tried the curated tasting menu. Standout dishes are the scallops Ceviche, citrus salad, and sea bream. The A5 wagyu steak was very good as well. The octopus was chewy and tough to cut, probably overcooked and tasted burnt. The vegetables were incorporated in creative ways. I really enjoyed the crispy kale that came with the sea bream. The place was busy and noisy. Service was ok but not seamless. Too busy probably and they missed one app that we ordered. Cocktails were pretty good. All in all a good experience.

    Had an absolute blast at Quetzal, my friend and I did the tasting menu and it did not disappoint. Just a word of warning to contact lens wearers, sitting at the bar might just dry out your eyes.

    They asked us to move tables (to the bar) mid dinner to keep themselves on a tight schedule. We felt like they were really hustling us through. It was a first—-especially when we were not exactly being slow.

    We very much enjoyed sitting at the Chef’s Table on a snowy, stormy night. It was very cozy with the open fire kitchen. Seeing the chefs prepare the various dishes was very fun and exciting! Our server was personal and friendly and we felt very taken care of. Kudos to both the front of house staff and chefs for creating a very special dining experience. We would highly recommend and will definitely return.

    Our server, and all staff we had the pleasure of meeting, were stellar. The dishes were fantastic and the presentation was on point. The restaurant is very loud, as it is a long space with low ceilings. The bar is in the front half of the restaurant and the bartender uses the cocktail shaker constantly. The diners were very energetic and spoke in loud volumes at most tables. We were dining on a Saturday night at 8pm and were expecting it. Not the place for a quiet romantic dinner.

    We went with the curated menu and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was good. Very attentive and they very good when accommodating my dietary restrictions. Husband said it was the best food he's ever had. Highly recommend!

    Really awesome experience and service by the Quetzal team from start to finish. Food was flavourful, and the cocktails were interesting. The buzz around the restaurant is there! I would certainly book again to see what the team comes up in their future menus!

    Came here for my husband’s birthday. Great experience sitting at the chef’s counter. Food was amaziiiiiiing! My favourite was the octopus, definitely coming back for it! Never liked pineapple but it just goes well with the dish that I couldn’t skip it, so that’s a good sign!

    This restaurant is beautifully designed . The interior features beautiful ceilings that give the impression your cuddled in serenity. Quetzal is a unique experience. Bar and dinning open , creating beautifully crafted synergy between guest and staff. The food is exceptional. Well plated , visually stimulating. Ingredients are fresh and simple . You can appreciate every detail that goes into the chefs creations . Staff are extremely professional , and yet approach guest with warm smiles - making you feel at home . Every dish is explored with the guest . We truly appreciated the assistance in selecting our dishes . Not to mention , the bartender is superb. Deserving of praise for creating some of the most beautiful, tasty beverages in Toronto. Definitely among the best we have to offer . Lastly , the chef - friendly, approachable- extremely talented . Well deserved Michelin Star . Thank you Steve for taking the time to meet us . In summary , if your someone with good taste - you have to check this place out ! Quetzal is a unique experience.

    Last time I dined at this restaurant was in 2018. Was excited to revisit it and share my great dining experience with my mom and boyfriend. The service and food did not disappoint, which was great news and shows to how consistent the team at Quetzal has managed to maintain over the last four years!
