My husband and I had been meaning to go to the Quinn's Arms ever since it first opened so we decided to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary by booking a table for dinner. We had no idea how busy it would be but were very impressed by the service (two servers who were run off their feet but who still maintained an amazing sense of humour and provided exemplary service!). The food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. We would definitely recommend this pub restaurant to others.

Chef's special pasta was outstanding. Appreciate efforts to accommodate my partner's dietary needs. However, your classification of noise level as 'energetic' is to us uncomfortable requiring us to lean in and practically shout to have a conversation. May be attractive to a certain crowd but there will be others who find this a negative.

Delicious fish n chips were so light and perfectly deep fried. Diner with celiac felt comfortable with GF accommodation and had a delicious burger with GF bun and tasty GF side salad instead of fries…..interesting menu overall!

Excellent ambience . I had muscles and fries which were the best ever for me. Fries very good .Linda was our server . She was in trading and did very well IMO. Have had the Sunday roast on other roccasions and strongly recommend

Our server was new to the restaurant but already comfortable helping us and making recommendations at our request. The spice bag is perhaps THE go-to appetizer in Halifax this year, a perfect shareable, and the mains, while not revolutionary, were solidly enjoyable. I can't say much for the vindaloo sauce but the lamb it was served over was cooked to perfection, the Beyond Meat burgers were deeply enjoyed, the fish & chips spot on, and the pear salad a pleasant surprise.

the service was superior, attentive not hovering, knowledgable, perfect really. the veggie curry was covered with a dark thick sauce, that looked and tasted like a butter chicken sauce, unexpected and not that pleasing.

We enjoyed our lunch at Quinn's Arms immensely. Two people had a burger (goat cheese and bacon). They raved about it. Ate all of their fries too. Another had a fish sandwich - tasty and moist. I had the Pear salad with chicken - outstanding (they stir fry the chicken pieces) - goat cheese, walnut and smoked bacon with a delicious buttermilk dressing. Our server was attentive. We all recommend Quinn's Ams as a great place to eat in Halifax!

A real British Sunday pub dinner. Very tasty and ample proportions - served on a tray for each to help themselves. Since there is at least a 15-20 minute wait for the food, it would be good to have a bread/roll or small nibbles while one waits and has their drink. The dinner was enough for us to take home the leftovers and have another meal. We plan to go back regularly.

Our server was amazing! She checked in while we were deciding what to order but did not pressure us to make an immediate decision, she made recommendations on dishes, during dinner she was attentive to our needs and after paying our bill, she did not rush us out. Unfortunately we didn’t get her name but she is a 5 star server!!

There was one lonely server for the noon hour crowd. She did her best but it was over an hour until we got our main meal and another hour before dessert and coffee. She remained cheery throughout so kudos to her. The food was nice but nothing special though rather higher end prices. We asked for a quiet table and were put in a lovely cozy nook with wrap around banquet seating. Just perfect for my hard of hearing friend. They tried, they really tried - but it was hard when short staffed.

A little higher priced, but for a great reason. It’s not like all the other restaurants, you are actually getting the quality you would expect from the price point. Food is always amazing no matter what you get, cocktails are amazing and the variety of what they can do is insane (I always get the bartenders choice and I’ve never been disappointed). On Valentine’s Day it was busier than normal, but somehow remained a very chill ambience and quiet. Waitress and waiter / bartenders were amazing and chill as well. There were weirdly long wait times for everything, but we didn’t mind as it gave us time to digest in between appetizers, mains and desserts. Overall I’ve never had a bad experience at this restaurant

Second time at Quinn’s Arm in recent weeks and can’t say a bad word about this spot. The service was amazing both times and the food options are perfectly curated. I had the Niçoise and I’m craving it again today. Will definitely go back.

My main meal the steak and cheese sandwich , the bread was really tuff, could not cut through it, hard to bite. Disappointed in flavour. The spice bag, chicken pieces over cooked almost burnt. The fish and chips were excellent along with the Olives and chicken liver pate. The Guinness cake and pumpkin spice brûlée were delisc.
