I made a reservation for 5.45 but came at 5.15 and we were situated right away. The table was next to waterfall as I asked, the service was great and the food very good. We ordered chicken wraps for appetizer and it was delicious. For main course I had pork on the bone. Huge portion with mushed potatoes and carrots. The meat was great and juicy, had to take half home. Overall it was great experience.

My first time at Rainforest cafe was a good experience. The atmosphere was energetic and vibrant. The service was excellent. I order the teriyaki combo consisting of steak and coconut shrimps and rice. This entree was very good and delicious. 👍👍👍👍

Haven’t been there in many years. Used to go with our kids and now went with grand nephews. Most of the rainforest stuff was either broken or turned off. Mostly just flashing lights, a little thunder sound. Gorilla didn’t move. Elephant moved but no elephant sound. Sad. No fish in the huge fish tanks. A disappointing visit if you know what it once was. Service was awful. Came right away to take drink order and then food order but never saw them again the rest of the night. No water refills, couldn’t get a fork. No clearing the table. Food was decent but worth about 2/3s the price. The $39 items should be $29. Etc. If you’ve never been there you might like it. If you remember the good old days, don’t go back!

The kids enjoyed the surroundings and the meals were good. We had a child who has severe food allergies and the chef came out to hear about them. Thank you! It is on the expensive side but you get an interesting experience with your meal.

Cheeseburger was fantastic. Steak was ok- no flavor. Service was terrible. Non-attentive, no checkup on food service, drinks, etc. asked for ketchup - no one came back. Will not return

The Mojo Bones were fall off the bone and packed that BBQ experience that slaps you up side the head good. A 4.5 all day. The Anaconda Pasta with shrimp was okay. Was very heavy on the tomatoes and the zucchini looked like it had randomly been cut by a machete as there wasn’t a single uniform cut. Overall I would give it a 3, but I’ll definitely choose a different item next time. The service was great, but whoever was working the merch counter was not only less than helpful but outright rude. It caused the whole experience to be less than what we have grown to expect from the Rainforest brand.

I feel Landry’s is neglecting this location. A lot of the animatronic animals were not working, their menu needs an update for the available souvenir glasses, their ICEE machine wasn’t working according to our waiter, and our waiter had a thick international accent which made it difficult to understand (I was sitting right by him too). We come to celebrate two August birthdays and have decided (my friend, her husband, and myself) we will go elsewhere from now on to celebrate. The thrill is no monger there.

Our group of 6 was seated promptly with a reservation. Our appetizer platter was mediocre and over-priced. One of our party of six did not receive her main course. The server made up an excuse about the kitchen separating a hot entree from cold entrees. Server needed to return to provide silverware and appetizer plates. It took 20 minutes to receive our drink order. Overall, not an enjoyable dining experience.

Went there for kids. They enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was good. Food is mid, at best. Also, Pricey for what you get. Police also were there - not really sure why. I don’t think you really go there for the food.

Ce restaurant est un incontournable pour mes enfants, mais cette fois-ci le service était très médiocre… Le serveur ne connaissait pas son menu et ne nous suggérait aucune boisson pour le menu pour enfant. Good food 🍗 and drinks🍸are to be found at this nice staple of beautiful downtown Atlantic City. Good location just on The famous Boardwalk. Good service and wonderful decor. Atlantic City is in dire need of more places such as this which are open later - in - the - evening, even during the week, and off - Season .

My purse was stolen right off my chair from inside this restaurant. They do not have surveillance cameras. Beware that pickpockets and thieves are casing this restaurant for tourists.

I requested a reservation 4 days in advance for my sons 4th birthday and requested a booth. Upon arriving the manager was very unpleasant and leaning all over the check in station with another young man and younger woman and I was just letting them know we were there early for our reservation but obviously would wait since it was for a certain time (we arrived 20 minutes early) the manager said he couldn’t accommodate us but when they would text me that the table was ready I had 10 minutes to get back there and check in or they would give up my spot and ridiculed me as if I were his child. Upon being sat in a table in a corner tucked away by the kitchen my son had the worst view for his birthday and a table no booth what’s the point of a reservation. Our waiter Melvin was miserable and I ordered a drink on the menu that they no longer make and then ordered an icee and the machine was broke. Then I ordered fajitas and the chicken was rubbery but as a younger woman dropped off the food she just kinda threw it down on the table and ran away as we were asking for ketchup for my son whose applesauce was warm and chocolate milk tasted like chocolate syrup and water mostly all syrup. The whole experience was very disappointing. The only good experience we had were the two ladies behind the counter in the gift shop who were very pleasant and kind otherwise you could tell nobody cared or wanted to be there working.

I got the Taste of the Islands and my girlfriend got the Python Pasta with a shrimp substitute. Both dishes were very good, portions were solid and the flavor of both was very good. The ambience is what you expect for a Rainforest Cafe, personally I like it. The main drawback was the service, which I felt was pretty lackluster given the price of the meal ($85 for two people). Our waiter checked on us 3 - 4 times while we were looking at the menu and then after we ordered we saw him once for the rest of the meal despite having empty drinks. He didn’t even do the courtesy check to make sure the meals turned out the way they were supposed to. I give him a bit of lenience just because it was a Friday night and even though it was pretty empty by the time we were eating (around 9), I’m sure it was still pretty busy. Other than that I’d say the prices are just a bit high given quality of food, as they aren’t offering anything exceptional, but definitely not bad or surprising given the fact that it’s Atlantic City and everywhere else has downright outrageous prices. Overall, I’d give it 3.5 stars and would say that if I were to come back to Atlantic City, I’d probably go again.

We’ve dined here a few times (3 within the past year). This past visit was busier than past visits and it definitely impacted the quality of the service. Although they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions and did try to rectify any inconveniences!

batter on my shrimp was mushy, manager rectified it by making something else. server basically told me that my shrimp batter was no way raw because “they come cooked” i ordered a side salad and the waiter charged me for a full salad and when i questioned it on the bill he told me “that’s what you ordered” didn’t argue. we came from the zoo so wanted to keep the ambiance up being we had our 2 year old with us. probably wouldn’t go back :(

The place was absolutely packed so it took a few more minutes than expected for our reservation. The food was amazing though our dinners came out in smaller portions than we thought they would, however the volcano was more than enough to feed our table of 4 adults for dessert we ended up bringing most of it back to the hotel. The gift shop is extremely overpriced so I don't recommend stopping there. The food is a bit pricey but for the experience it is definitely worth it. This place has flashing lights and loud noises so keep that in mind when booking. Our service was quick but it took a bit longer than expected though they were amazing. Definitely a must go to while on the boardwalk.

Our server was great and the workers were very nice. The kids had a blast. The bathrooms were clean. My fish was overcooked, I wouldn’t recommend fish but my husband got a sirloin and it was delicious. The kids meal were kids meals from a restaurant.

Once we found food & drink that were available the dinner was great. Half our items ordered they were out of. 3/5 animal glasses. Half the drafts unavailable. No fish tacos & seafood trio. But once we found food available it was great especially fajitas

Pretty terrible experience. Reservation was on time which was great but service was awful. 30 mins for drinks and 45 for food. Multiple details wrong (ie asked for no salt on margarita- came with salt). Both items my daughter ordered they were out of (Icee’s and macaroni and cheese). It’s a cute place and you expect little from these chains but it was overpriced, poor quality inaccurate food and drink with really lackluster service. Our server was clueless and MIA.
