Always a lovely time at RCW…we usually go to the San Juan location, but decided to try the San Clemente tonight because of Puttin on the Glitz, and it did not disappoint! Our server Zack was awesome and attentive and the food and wine was delicious!

Rancho Capistrano Winery is nice and cozy. I usually sit outside on the patio which is small but there enough space between tables. The food and wine is always excellent. Cowboy ribeye was tender and cooked perfectly. Our servers, Zack and Meryl were outstanding. I like that you never feel rushed. I will continue to come back to this quaint and inviting restaurant.

I had a great time at Rancho Capistrano Winery this past weekend ! From amazing food to delicious wine the overall experience was great. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and had the pleasure of being served by Zach! He was attentive but also allowed our group to chat and share some laughs. He always kept our glasses full and we’ll definitely be back for more fun times. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good food, good wine and great service !

We had lunch on a beautiful Fall Sunday and sat outside. The food was DELICIOUS! We had the gluten free pizza with apples and Gorgonzola cheese on it - so good. We also shared the steak Benedict and a flight of Mimosas. Everything was great and it was so nice being outside. I highly recommend Rancho Capistrano Winery!

I enjoyed a nice brunch celebrating my birthday, daughter, and friend. All nine of us enjoyed the food and desserts. Our host/attendant/waiter, Zach, gave us excellent service. We will definitely come back to celebrate another occasion or just because.

Cute little place. Sat outside and luckily found a table where the umbrella covered most of the table. Seating outside is on a slant due to the street being on a hill, so that was a little awkward (I felt like a was leaning forward and my gf was feeling like she was falling backwards). The inside seemed very busy and loud, so we opted to sit outside. The food was good, but nothing special. Fig bruschetta, avocado toast were both meh - ok, but very basic and nothing to write home about (COULD have been so much better). Watermelon salad was good. Lemon parmesan fries were yummy, but served with ranch and ketchup which was weird. Like everything these days, way overpriced. It is a cute little town. Probably would try another restaurant on our next visit.

Our server, whom was also the Bartender, did an outstanding job. He was patient with our wine choices. He gave us a taste of a certain wine, we weren't a fan. He offered something else which we loved. He was attentive, and funny. We loved the Crab Stack special. But that Ribeye, holy goodness, was that tasty. Great job, Capistrano Winery and Staff.

My friends and I had an amazing experience here. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were great for sharing. The service was outstanding and we were very impressed by all the staff. They accommodated us in all ways possible, which was greatly appreciated. We will absolutely be back!

What a great discovery! San Clemente could easily be our new go to place! The winery/restaurant was wonderful! The people there were amazing and the service was fantastic! I had the Outlaw salad and my wife had the flatbread. Both were delicious! The wine selection was great and was a perfect pairing for both our meals. This was the second time in a row that our food was below par. My wife’s steak salad was dreadful. The steak was tough and not edible. We had a reservation, but somehow it was not received thru Open Table. I think we will avoid until things get better there. This many other options.

On the way home from San Diego, I found this restaurant by chance for an Easter brunch and what a great surprise! This is a very casual, but warm and friendly spot. Our server was attentive and provided excellent service. All of our dishes were well prepared. Try the apple and gorgonzola flatbread. Definitely worth the visit.

I loved RC Winery when I first discovered it as a go-to outdoor restaurant during late 2020. I loved the weekend brunch and thought the french toast breakfast was outstanding. I hadn't been there for awhile because they took away the outdoor patio for awhile and for me that was one of the attractions. The patio is back so I met a friend there for brunch this past Sunday. I ordered the french toast and was so disappointed. They are using a different bread and it wasn't suitable for french toast. I also asked for no whipped cream and when the meal arrived it was very clear that there had been whipped cream that was scraped off. The berries on top were also very sparse. I probably won't go back. Also, just a minor note, I made the reservation but my friend arrived first. My reservation stated patio table and they tried to seat my friend inside. She didn't know the reservation specified the patio but she asked to sit outside and was fortunately accommodated.
