    On Tuesday, October 10th, we are delighted to host Patricio Brongo of Bodegas Moraza and David Foran of Cru Wine Merchants for a five-course winemaker’s dinner, prepared by the Raphaël Peruvian Cuisine team. Bodegas Moraza is a six generation family owned winery in the Rioja Alta region of Spain. Under Janire Moraza, Patricio Brongo's partner, the land has been converted to an organic winery that uses traditional methods to showcase the richness of the terroir. This winemaker's dinner will pair Bodegas Moraza's exceptional Spanish wines with Chef Lizardo and the culinary team at Raphaël Peruvian Cuisine's unique Peruvian tasting menu.     Amazing experience. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. We got and share some plates. I can say that all of them were very good. The pulpo, the tiraditos, the arroz c camarones, were just an explosion of flavors. So good.

    The food, service and ambience was excellent. The table next to us was a bit noisy but overall it was an enjoyable experience. The food was really top notch. One thing I didn't understand was why my friend was told she couldn't have the chicken small plate because there was sauce on it that she couldn't eat. Not sure why they couldn't just have served the dish without sauce. Otherwise, fantastic food and experience.

    All dishes we tried were delicious, specially the “tiradito”, the octopus causa and the anticuchos. The salsa was amazing! My favourite dessert is the soursop merengue, fresh yet not overly sweet

    Yesterday my bf and I went to the new location in Elgin St. The food was AMAZING, it transported me to Peru and our delicious cuisine. The owner Chef came to say hello and everyone was in a good spirit. I fully recommend this restaurant, you have to try everything in the menu and keep place for the dessert! Veronica & Phil

    Great food! Waited 10 mins for water, 45 for drinks, and over an hour for first dishes. While table beside ours, known to staff, were served very quickly (they had drinks and ate and left before our food arrived). Loved the food. Nice people. Awful service.

    We had a great group dinner with 6ppl. The food was incredible, service was friendly and the vibe is good. Cocktails take a while so order them immediately when you sit down.

    This is not an inexpensive restaurant, but it does rise up to the price point in quality and flavour. An absolutely delicious meal. We will go back, but it might take a while to build up the funds to do so.

    It felt like too much was being done in an effort to elevate the dishes. I appreciate the effort but it just wasn’t hitting. The service was exceptional and the bartender was very friendly.

    We found out about Raphael Peruvian Cuisine through our friend Natalia Cook who is the singer in Latin Flow. We hadn't seen her since we were in Buenos Aires. It was a must attend event. How lucky that it was at said restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient if a tad slow for the drinks. No big deal as we did not go thirsty. The staff seemed to be having as good a time as we were. I had the Arroz con Camarones which was fabulous. My husband enjoyed his Pork Belly entree. I have had many a Pisco Sour in my day but theirs are the best. Highly recommend.

    Fantastic! We love trying new things and this was perfect. Dessert incorporating Soursop, a Peruvian fruit, was amazing. Wishing we had this restaurant in our city!

    Outstanding Peruvian cuisine, from presentation to taste, and excellent wine, decor and atmosphere. Our only small niggle would be a rather long wait between being seated and our server arriving, and a wait for our final tapas dish, but the server was wonderful and it was a busy evening. We would recommend.

    Glad to have stumbled on to this place on Google while looking for top restos to eat at in Ottawa. The cocktail'swere so flavorful and chilled to perfection that I had to taste almost every one on the menu. The food was as explosion of new flavors that I will be back to enjoy. The service was genuine and the server asked all the right questions to make sure this was the perfect dining experiences for my wife and I. All in all this could be the best restaurant I have ever been to in Ottawa.

    Great authentic Peruvian flavours. Pisco Sour to die for and got hit with a wave of nostalgia when I learned they also serve Inca Kola! Highly recommend

    Service was slow. The ceviche wmis very salty and is served as strips of rockfish with no other seafood. The beef skewers a to also very salty and the flavors are not great.
