of Hamilton’s restaurant scene, dedicated to offering the city’s culinary
connoisseurs a full nose-to-tail experience. We offer a regularly changing,

Everything was amazing. The portions were perfect the food was delicious. The service and atmosphere were 10/10 as well which can be hard to come by. Our server was so knowledgeable and able to make great recommendations for both food and drinks. The cocktails were excellent as well, lots of options! Can’t wait to go back - the lobster and shrimp cappelletti now lives rent free in my mind.

Food was good, but services was slow, particularly as the restaurant wasn't that busy. Also, our group was mix of both folks who drink alcohol and those who don't. It was disappointing for those who don't drink that the options of non-alcoholic beverages were so limited. For example, two of our party wanted non-alcoholic beer, but there was only 1 type of beer offered (and not listed on the drinks menu), and in fact only 1 beer available, so both people passed. There are so many great non-alcoholic beers (in particular) on the market, specifically local to Hamilton that could/should be showcased. This would also be a boon for Rapscallion, I'd suggest.

Cobb salad was fresh with a good house made dressing. The fries tasted like they had been cooked in stale oil but burgers were good. Service was efficienct and friendly.

Omg where do I begin? I forgot my phone at home and I hadn’t confirmed anything with my guests. When it was 10 minutes past reservation time, I reached out to the staff to see if they could help me get a message to my guests. They bent over backwards and explored every possible avenue. Who commits phone numbers to memory anymore? Just as we were running out of options, my guests arrived. I can’t express the gratitude I have for how much the staff was willing to help!! The food was beyond magnificent. Gourmet meets tapas with elegance, finesse and incredible artistry. The combination of flavours hit every note. Sweet, sour, gamey and soul, spicy and buttery. Unbelievable. Can’t wait to go back!!

First time there and it was a nice experience. The tapas plates is a cool idea, gives you an opportunity to try several dishes. If this is not your idea of a “proper” dinner you might not like the idea. For a change here and there it’s cool to do specially if you do a double date. The seating wasn’t the greatest for us. We were at a corner close to the window but just felt we were at an awkward place. Server was nice. Overall a nice experience, will have to give it a try down the road again.

Every time I visit I love it more. The new menu is beautiful, the service is the best I've had anywhere, the ambience in this place is legendary, and i hear the owners ain't half bad either :p. Long live rapscallion, you guys are my absolute fave.

Many times we’ve eaten at Rapscallion at both the old location and new location. The food and service never disappoint. I’ll be back in two weeks to experience the chef's choice menu. The cost is on the high side but the experience is worth the cost.

Had a lovely dinner last night. Waiter was fantastic.. very attentive. The server who brought the food did a great job explaining each dish which was an added nice touch. It was a birthday celebration so the dessert was a bonus surprise. This company knows customer service, great food and drinks. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Food was great, that table should not be a table. Hidden in the back were the waitstaff congregate and chit chat terrible seating.

Amazing restaurant! We tried 8 dishes and 2 desserts. They were all delicious! The decor and atmosphere is fun and trendy. Service was excellent.

Three of us shared several dishes …all excellent but especially outstanding were: chicken liver pate, kale salad and butterfish. Our server, Morgan, was great: informative, adjusted to our (slow) pace easily, unobtrusively attentive. Highly recommend.

Fantastic! Love the ambiance and vibe of the place - the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating from the person who seated us and wanted us to be comfortable to the bartender/server and the person who ran our food and described the dishes as they served. The food was outstanding overall! The only development area I would not were the Oysters Rockefeller - very small portion however the taste was great - just not the best we've had. I had the Scallop Risotto special and it was a delight to the tastebuds - Exceptional! The friend I took for dinner had the Lamb Blanquette in a Blanket and could not stop raving about how wonderful it tasted!!! A great experience - not only would go back - in fact I can't wait to go back!

The food was delicious and we ordered several dishes to share among our table. They were colourful and yummy and brought to us in a timely manner. We did ask for more bread because the amount provided for the meal was not enough to soak up all of the deliciousness on the plates! Wonderful server Morgan was attentive and pleasant. We will be back!

We enjoyed a most wonderful evening. The food was amazing, our favourites were the whipped feta and the sea bass crudo. Our waiter Darryl was incredible…informative, timely and had a great sense of humour. We will be back soon.

A little disappointed: whipped feta came with 5 small pieces of crostini, which wasn’t enough for the dish - 3 dollar charge for another 5 pieces of crostini. Rabbit-pheasant lasagna was dry and the portion too small even for a small portion dish - a one inch by five inch sliver of lasagna. Braised short rib was tender, but the dish mostly consisted of potatoes: maybe 3 ounces of meat at best. In the end, the food wasn’t as impressive as our first visit.

First, and foremost - I am genuinely sorry to hear that you felt rather disappointed during your most recent visit with us this past weekend. With the large influx of price increases due to the inflation in our economy, additional extras such as extra crostini, bread or other items help us maintain and keep our costs down. Unfortunately, we cannot control the increased costs when it comes to our product, however by charging for additional extras, it helps us by not having to increase our menu prices, which has remained consistent for all of our guests. Best food in Hamilton. Completely delicious, every single thing. Including the cocktails. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Love this place!

Very interesting menu. Lots of choices and opportunity to taste different stuff as it is share plates. Our server, Heather, was super helpful with menu choices and was attentive without being intrusive. Definitely recommend.

I expected this resto to be good but every single dish was perfect, the staff was helpful and seemed genuine and not overbearing. Atmosphere was great. My new Hamilton fave.

Unbelievable experience!! Amazing vibe and ambiance, from the front door through to the back patio. Great music, attentive staff and even a table side comedy experience from our waiter Darryl! The food was absolutely divine and there wasn’t a single item I had last bite regret over. My mouth is salivating just thinking about the whipped feta, broccoli and bone marrow. Just go! You won’t regret it…
