The best dessert and wine bar in town. We go every day when in Montreal. Superb desserts with an impressive range of wine and cocktail pairings on offer. They also have a great dinner tasting menu which we had on our last visit. We highly recommend Ratafia.

Dans l'ensemble je vous recommande grandement ce restaurant, la nourriture et les boissons y sont divine, le service est très agréable et le lieux agréable pour y diner. Cependant venu le moment de l'adition, notre serveur nous à laissé un gout très amère en bouche en faisant une réflexions sur le montant laissé en terme de Tips, et en reprochant à ma nièce qui à dépensé une somme conséquente dans ce restaurant afin de nous faire plaisir, de ne pas respecter la culture et en l'incitant à donner plus d'argent de façon assistante. Nous comprenons que certain serveurs sont habituer à avoir beaucoup plus de tips, cependant gâché cette expérience n'était pas nécessaire. Peut être serait il temps de payer vos serveurs correctement pour éviter ce type de réflexion qui laisser un gout amère en bouche.

Il y a de ces adresses qui sont des valeurs sûres. Le Ratafia en fait partie. L'harmonie des saveurs, la présentation et l'accord des vins rendent nos visites au Ratafia des moments de pur bonheur. Chaque assiette raconte une histoire où les saveurs s'entremêlent avec une délicatesse et une précision qui nous transporte. Une équipe exceptionnelle, mention spéciale à Michael, qui crée la magie.

This place is very casual but offers a great dining experience. The food was wonderfully creative and tasted great. We had chosen the 6 course tasting menu and sampled a few nice wines. I don’t believe they needed two dessert type courses to finish and could change one to savory. We also ordered the bioche with brown butter and seasoning which was just delicious. Our server Leo was very informative, professional and quite charming. A great relaxed evening.
