The Raven Bistro, located in the heart of Jasper, Alberta, offers Mediterranean fusion fare with local flair backed by a view of the mountains. Our professional team all love being in Jasper and thrive on blending fresh ingredients to create memorable, quality dishes served in an intimate environment. The menu offers many vegan options and is malleable to those with dietary concerns. Paired with cocktails mixed with Alberta distilled spirits, Canadian Craft Beer and Canadian wines by the glass and bottle, this is the spot for a special evening out in Jasper.

We offer Happy Hour daily from 3-5:30 with all wines 1/2 price, all scotches 1/2 price and $5 beers.

Please note that while children are welcome at The Raven Bistro, parents need to be aware that we offer an intimate dining experience. We do not have a separate children's menu, and we do not have high chairs.

What a great hidden gem!!! We will definitely be back!!! We had heard from three separate people that this was the place to go (one local, one visitor from Australia we met on the train and one other visitor in Jasper), we are so glad we listened!! Everything was amazing!!!! If I could I would give 10 stars!!!

We always enjoy stopping by Raven when in Jasper. The food is very good, loved the halibut. Enjoyed the wine. Service is always excellent.

Food at the Raven has always been good, I can’t think of a time when I e had a bad meal there. Hands down one of the top three in Jasper to eat.

Trust a Jasper local: The Raven does not disappoint. Dining out isn't to be taken lightly in this economic free-fall we're experiencing. If you value your hard-earned wage and don't want to go home hungry, This Must Be The Place. Friendly welcoming atmosphere. Warm ambience. Professional, courteous and congenial service. Absolutely gorgeous food and beverages clearly prepared and presented with care and pride.

The meals were good with one exception. The vegetables that came with the braised bison short ribs were broccolini. It was overcooked and very tough. The replacement offered were Brussels sprouts and cauliflower were also very over cooked.

Wonderful food, I had the bison ribs, they were amazing, perfect bite, not over cooked, great flavour, great bbq sauce. The waiter was excellent, great suggestions for dishes, speedy, friendly. Atmosphere was quiet, overall and excellent experience, definitely recommend.

I checked out a number of place’s menus and we chose this one- so glad we did! Scallops were cooked to perfection and the soup of the day was sublime. Cheerful and friendly service- a definite winner!

Falafel appetizer was excellent. Salmon and polenta were average, salad was good, dessert was amazing. Server seemed a little condescending regarding our lack of familiarity with how we were to pay the check (much different than where we are from). Also, she stood there and watched while I entered the tip amount. Was that really necessary?

The food was excellent, particularly the chicken pot pie. The disappointment was, having booked for 7pm we had to wait between 10 and 15 minutes before being seated. Also the waitress serving our table forgot to bring a changed item with the main course which eventually arrived half way through, with a comment of "that's usually only on our lunchtime menu", as if that was a valid excuse for her forgetting what she'd taken as our order.

Very pleasant staff. We had bison ribs and Argentina steak with shrimp. Both were quite good. The steak was a bit tough for tenderloin. Our starter of scallops, however, was really outstanding. Wine list had good selections at decent prices.

My partner and I have eaten here several times. We cannot visit Jasper without an evening at the Raven. Food is incredible and the service is amazing! Absolutely love this place!
