Sadly, this was the worst dining experience we have had in a long time. We ordered.. and 45 minutes later still no food. The excuse was a new chef, but really, we ordered soup, salad, falafel, and salmon (which was advertised as grilled). No one bothered to bring even a complimentary appetizer. We finally left :(

The chefs at The Raven really know how to cook! Wow. Excellent dishes and well presented. For those with gluten allergies, The Raven is the place to go in Jasper. I had the "Abundance Bowl" and felt healthier after dinner. Not too rich. Delicious. Amazing creamy kale sauce. And the quinoa and cauliflower cakes were amazing too.

Small little place with great food and service. It’s best to make a reservation as they can fill up quickly. Lunch and dinner menus are both great. No kids menu but our kids aren’t picky and they loved the food as well. We always come here when we come to Jasper. Check it out!

My husband and I both agreed that our dinners at The Raven Bistro were amongst the best we could remember enjoying. The service was impeccable, our meals arrived surprisingly quickly after ordering, and they were cooked to perfection (he had steak and prawns, I had the halibut). We’ve already recommended the Raven to a number of friends.

Server was great. Spanish chicken wings were very tasty. The schnitzel meal was excellent but the 3 Pharaohs dish was underwhelming. Part of the dish-the chicken shawarma was excellent but the lamb was quite 'muttony' and the steak was blue rare even though we were not asked how we would prefer it prepared.

The gluten free options are plentiful and amazing! I had the pork cutlets with rice flour and black sesame seeds.The rubarb chutney goes with it and is absublutely divine. My husband had the short ribs and was extremely happy. Our waitress who was from Australia was a 15 out of 10. She was so friendly, efficient, and a joy to have. The chef is creative and highly appreciated. It wad an amazing experience.

Excellent food and great service. They have many vegan and vegetarian options as well as standard meat options. The buffalo Sammie is my favourite with a close second to the falafel balls. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly making the Raven very enjoyable to eat at.

We enjoyed an exceptional late lunch this week! Moroccan Baked Brie starter, with Chicken Shawarma Platter and Falafel Buddha Bowl as mains. The flavours were unique and exciting. Service by Sydney was perfectly attentive. In past visits we’ve had the Steak Sandwich and the Pulled Elk Ruben which were also excellent. I highly recommend this place if you’re headed to Jasper in your travels.

The mussels were ridiculously delicious. I didn't enjoy the falafel appy but that's just me and my dislike for cilantro. I'm sure it's as great as everything else we had. The manager kindly took it off the bill even though I insisted it wasn't necessary. They appreciated the honesty! 10/10. Definitely returning.
