    We ate on the patio around 9pm under the glorious heat lamps on a cool October evening, and we were exceptionally warm. The ramen was the best I’ve had yet, and drinks were on par. The service was friendly and 5 star. Would take the queen here if I could. Favorite place in Nelson. <3 we love you red light ramen. I’m a hopeless Ramen-tic. Never a noodull moment here.

    For the cost, the dishes lacked value - a lot of ramen with few vegetables and not enough protein. However, not over salted which is appreciated. Noise level high, difficult to hear one's companions. With some improvements to the quality of the dishes, this restaurant could be quite good.

    The gyoza was great, good flavors, but the ramen and Dan Dan noodles both had very sour flavors. We couldnt really pinpoint what it was, but maybe relied too much on pickled ginger for a back ground flavor. The pork was well cooked, but very sweet and did not pair well with the other flavors in the meal

    Delicious ramen and beautifully presented. Many nice additions in there…nori, mushrooms, ginger, sweet potato. Yum. And so healthy. Highly recommend

    Very good take on ramen in a cute little restaurant. The only downside was the wait for our food and drinks which is typical in a restaurant but not in a ramen house. Non-traditional ramen in a restaurant atmosphere. Worth it to take a ramen newbie!

    Our waitress couldn’t have been less interested in serving us . People arrived after us - they were given water and their orders were taken before ours . We had to ask for water, and finally put order was taken . Our ramen arrived - it was ok - when we had finished, we both realized that we didn’t have the standard egg in our soup -

    A different flavour profile than from what we recall from our time spent in Japan, years ago. Loved the hot edge to the Tantan Chicken Ramen from the Korean oil. And the gyoza were delicate with many differ flavors coming through. Very good service and a wide selection of drinks. Great to see local and healthy sourcing of the ingredients.
