Crab fest was a delight. Cannot rave enough about the crab boil! Our server Shiela was super sweet, speedy and efficient throughout the meal. Highly recommend this Red Lobster location!!!

I had made a reservation for a birthday dinner. There was four in our party. We arrived a few minutes early and we’re told it would be about 1520 minutes to wait for a booth outside of the bar. When I made the reservation, I told them I wanted to sit in the dining room. There were plenty of tables available in the dining room. Apparently they did not have enough servers. The hostess kept telling us the same thing over and over again quotes “we have two large parties so we can’t see you“ all she would’ve had to do would be to seat us at our table in the dining room and give us some water and menus. It was handled so poorly. We told the waiter we were celebrating a birthday for an 81 year-old. He never remembered we had to ask him for a scoop of ice cream with a candle his reply? Oh sorry about that. I have not been to this restaurant in a few years and only went there because the birthday girl enjoys red lobster. I personally will never be back. with all of the beautiful restaurants we have in the desert that certainly is the last place I would go back. The last time I was there, my mom and I were the only ones in the restaurant in the server was telling us how poorly it is run. He ended up giving us free food because he said nobody even cares that was about a year and a half ago. I honestly thought the place was gonna get closed. It’s really awful.

Good food and service. The lobster and sheik were cooked to prefection. We had a very attentive waiter. All in all a perfect meal. Interior needs a refresh.

We were really looking forward to eating here since the location near us had closed a year ago. Same menu and we enjoyed a couple of our favorite meals. Server was friendly and attentive. Kept our drinks refilled and asking if we needed anything. Very pleasant experience.

So why 4 stars and not 5? Went for the first time in 31 years, since I got married, and was really surprised at how good the food was. I had the Surf and Turf! The second time, in a week, the Surf and Turf wasn't quite the same. The steak had gristle and wasn't as flavorful this time, but the rest of the meal was exceptional! My wife had the Salmon Bowl and loved it. The vegetables on each of our plates were cooked to perfection. If you had blindfolded me and not told me where I was dining, I would have had no idea I was at a Red Lobster - again, the first time was better this week then the second time. The employees were all very polite and attentive, earning a high tip!

My adult daughter and I enjoyed Lobster Fest for the second time in 2 weeks, and it was great again. We had the same wonderful service by Elena R as she is attentive, caring and helpful. Our order with extra requests was perfect again. The meal was tasty and the lobster was cooked perfectly. Even the broccoli was very flavorful which is new as it was usually rather bland in the past. We were seated in a booth as requested. I would recommend anyone wanting great tasting food to visit Red Lobster-Palm Desert.

The restaurant and bar look nicely done but the food, especially the lobster, was just ok. The lobster especially, was overcooked and a disappointment! Service was exceedingly well done, cheerful and served well.
