Thank you Red Spoon Chef, and staff for making our birthday celebrations absolutely the best time ever. Food and Service were exceptional and way beyond our greatest expectations. Red Spoon Thai restaurant and bar is sure now to become one of our top choice and most frequently visited restaurants in the Top Ryde area. Thank you again and so very much for providing us all with a menu of such an abundant choice of amazing authentic Thai dishes and all at such reasonable prices. Red Spoon is great.

Had a booking,but very slow to take our order,long wait after for water had to go and ask even to take drink order. We ordered the banquet to make it easy. Food excellent,no jug of water left on table asked each time for refills.sitting at back of restaurant, quite hot , poor airflow,no fans.Staff friendly.

We were a group of 4 people for a birthday. My online booking was not listed on their books but they organised a table for us after I showed them the booking message on my phone. It was busy and noisy the whole time we were there from 6.30-9.45pm. Food was cooked quickly and tasted wonderful- not huge serves. All staff very helpful and friendly. I brought a birthday cake which was put away for us and brought out when we were ready to serve it. They added sparklers and lit the candles for us.

Our order took forever, and then they forgot half the food, and when we asked I thought they were chasing the rest of our order up, but after an hour, we decided to ask for the bill. The food was very nice, but it was way too expensive for what we received.

I had gone there the previous week for my nan's birthday and recommended it for my mum's birthday. When I made the booking I said we wanted to sit outside. They didn't have our booking or any details. We ordered a dish and they said they did not have it. I was extremely disappointed.

First time at restaurant, . Most of the food was good and tasty. Disappointed in the Mussaman Beef - quite chewy compared to others I have had. Topping up waters was good however took 10 mins to get someone over to order more rice. Overall service was reasonable.

Great place for a meet up with friends especially my 2 wonderful L1 and MSIF, food was plentiful and delicious, service was attentive, there was no noticeable delay in food or drinks and this made for a positive choice of restaurant for the number of people in the group. There was some noise but that is a reflection of the attendance of patrons and the popularity of the restaurant. Essentially, a great menu and options for banquets, a good selection of Wine/Beer/Drinks are available, prices are very reasonable, staff are pleasant and attentive, atmosphere is noisy and busy but positive and reassuring.

The food was great but we received appalling service. Our server was repeatedly rude, going out of his way to return past our table to make a rude comment on one occasion, rolled his eyes, walked away while people were still addressing him, did not follow through on polite requests. I was there with a work group, including my boss, for one of the party's birthdays. I am mortified after this experience, as the venue was my suggestion.

The food was good and the staff cheerful but:1.They didn't have our booking,despite THEM confirming the day before!2. We ordered the banquet but the food arrived VERY fast and the staff had trouble squashing the dishes on the table.I asked them to slow it down,so they waited for 10 minutes and then did the same thing with the second half of the meal! That's not the way to enjoy a banquet,and appreciate each special dish the chefs prepared. 3.It was SO noisy. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant, traditional thai dishes but with a modern twist. Only disappointing thing was when we ordered at 7.15pm there was no Singha beer left and no lamb cutlets which we really wanted to try. Keen to go back

After receiving a booking confirmation from bookarestaurant.com our party of 7 arrived at Red Spoon to find there was no such booking. Luckily a table was found for us. Drinks were ordered and arrived in 3 stages, the last beer needing 3 reminders. The food was average, except for the Massaman curry which was delicious. The bill was brought to the table and I found that we had been charged $21 for one small bowl of rice. After much encouragement this was reduced to $12.
