    Nous avons tous vraiment apprécié l'ambiance et la grande qualité de la nourriture. Par contre, nous avons trouvé que le prix était très élevé. Je recommande fortement l'endroit, j'y retournerai...après avoir économisé assez d'argent.

    The cod special came with undercooked potato. The waiter did not check on us, we had to catch her in several attempts. The kitchen admitted of the mistake and offered a free dessert to adjust for the potato issue. To be honest, when the the bill is over $400 for three adults and one child, free dessert does not fix the otherwise elevated impression.

    Food was outstanding. I thout that the nearby Rosely's brunch was amazing but this was even better. Service however was a miss. Our waiter did not look like he cared about our table. He was not present during service, we had to ask to refill waters, order coffee, etc. For the quaity of the restaurant I expect top notch service. I still left 15% because I was for a long time in the service industry and the rest of the staff probably pools tips, but I would have probably left well over 20% had the waiter been attentive. The other staff members that picked up plates from our table were very nice, it was just our waiter that seemed to be having a bad day. We did not even stay to take care of the bill or say bye, someone else printed the bill and took payment. Overall amazing food but our experience was tarnished by the service.

    Took my Fiancee to Restaurant Renior for a romantic brunch and they did not disappoint. It was spot on, food was fantastic and extremely tasty. The wet scrambled eggs are to die for, melt in your mouth delicious. I would like to see more availability of pastries and or toasts but that would be my only... personal request and not really a complaint. I will say that beyond the eggs and some bacon, it is not a kid friendly type of brunch buffet. It is extremely sophisticated in its offerings and we'll worth every penny. As a retired European Chef, it was definitely 5 stars for us. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    The food here is pure art. We chose the table d’hote as the selections are all fresh and the menu changes as per the freshest foods from the market. I chose the Catch of the Day. It was Walleye. The picture does not do it justice but there were even petals of edible flowers sprinkled on top. The dessert was stellar.

    Lovely place really enjoyed. I had the meat of the day which was lovely (bavette). The wine was good and there is a good wine list but heads up the entire list is pretty pricey. The only disappointing element was the fish of the day on the day we went. It was so so and wish had ordered something else.

    A l’aide de l application j ai effectué une réservation pour souper à 17:00h. A notre arrivée, on nous informe que la salle à manger n ouvre qu’à 18:00h. Comme nous avions un horaire serré, cela nous a un peu contrarié mais le personnel a été très collaborateur afin de nous permettre de respecter notre horaire initial. Niveau de qualité de nourriture excellente. Je fais le détour chaque fois que je suis à Montréal. Merci à toute l équipe.

    Renoir never seems to disappoint. Imaginative dishes prepared and presented with care . The staff are attentive but I am not fond of the “team waiting” approach to service. The restaurant is elegant, tables are well spaced and attractively set. We love eating on the terrace but yesterday it was unfortunately to cool and rainy. Regardless, we had a very fine meal, expertly served in lovely surroundings.

    We were supposed to be on terrace, but it rained. Ambience inside was less appealing. The food was excellent, especially the sauces. Portions on the small side but great for me. The steak plate was actually very large and my friend took a “doggy bag” The service was “so-so”. Several young men around, but the system seemed to rotate them, so we were unclear if we had one waiter. No one came to fill up our water glasses. Perhaps as a result of these apparently rotating waiters, our bills ( for 3 people) were mixed up and we had to tell the waiter who had eaten what. I would return for the food, but the service and ambience could be improved Patricia Forbes

    Very nice great service but maître d did not once come to the table to see how we were doing. Also he was biting his nails ( or a hangnail) and it was very unappetizing.

    La terrasse n’avait absolument rien à voir avec les photos du site, aucune ambiance, coin isolé dans la terrasse ou les canapés étaient inconfortables et le décor horrible de plus on a vu une souris passer près de chez nous pour rentrer en cuisine, une des serveuses nous a dit ben c’est normal c’est Montréal y’a des souris et des rats partout. Bref ce qui est sûr est certain c’est que jamais on va y retourner.

    We were a party of four celabrating my BD anniversary. The venue is quite nice, Sofitel Hotel has really good taste. The menu was impressive and also the wine list. The quality of the kitchen is amazing. This is french culinary expertise at it's best. Everything was tasteful and also looked beautiful. It does come with a good price tag but you pay for good quality all around! Highly recommend this restaurant.

    L’entrée et le cocktail étaient excellents. Le plat principal n’était pas chaud et les pommes de terre qui l’accompagnaient avait un goût de pomme de terre réchauffée, très désagréable. Aucun légume d’accompagnement ! Le désert était bon mais pas excellent comme on peut s’attendre d’un restaurant de ce niveau. Bref, nous étions 3 convives et aucun de nous trois n’a été renversé par la cuisine du Renoir. Le rapport qualité/prix n’y était pas .

    Sunday Brunch: Chic place to enjoy some quiet time and have a good meal. Staff is super friendly and attentive to your needs. The place wasn't too busy and we had to look for our waiter a few times. Food was delicious and had a fair selection of cheese, desserts & baked croissants, but overall pricy for what you get. We thought we would have more high end items on display. Overall: delicious food cooked to perfection, beautiful terrace and dinning room, but not worth the price in my opinion.

    Surprisingly quiet on a Saturday nigth, terrasse was half empty. Very nice setting Appetizers were excellent, for the main meal the octopus was extraordinary while the catch of the day was presented in a dull manner, not much in the plate but the fish, very different from the description. Great barman who prepared cocktails at our taste.

    Our lunch for terrific: excellent service (thanks to Martin), most delicious Halibut, coffee and dessert were great. Love the whole scene!
