   We didn't eat there. We had to stand at the bar because we didn't want bottle service even though we had a reservation for high top seating. So we left because we didn't want to eat and drink standing the entire night.

   So it was $25 to get into lounge that day . Once we got in the lady was pressing us for bottles she states that we could sit for now to eat and drink but if we don’t get a bottle we would have to get up in the event that someone else buys a bottle and they need table to remind you these are regular high top tables not a section! we told her we’ll think about it she said ok you guys c-section sit wherever you like ! we sat in their i guess they call it a section area not knowing it was a section she came over and told us in order to stay it was a 2 bottle MIN so we said ok they had a 2 bottle package for $475 after she came back with the bill she said it was $686 after taxes and gratuity that is $211 for taxes and gratuity we decided it wasn’t worth it and sat at the high top table. Shortly after another group of girls came and went to the section we were at and brought 1 bottle ! They were spanish and we felt like they were being races ! not to mention the lady that was trying to sell us bottles was just very pushy & literally was on our heels about getting 2 bottles or having to get out of the section ! Food is always a hit there i have to eat that’s prob the best part of it ! I was so disgusted with how she handled stuff and don’t think i’ll go back. Maybe on a Tuesday since i really want to try tacos but not on a party night!

   I made reservations for a party of 10 for a Birthday Celebration and my party and I walked in on time with balloons and a cake only to be told they didn’t have my reservation or any seats available to accommodate my party and they were charging a $30 entrance fee and I spoke to a young lady the evening before to confirm my reservation which she did but never mentioned an entrance fee!! Very Very Unprofessional!!!

   No food, prizes Odee High for no reason we ordered 2 bottles and both bottles they didn’t have but didn’t tell me untill after I paid….remind you we were the first group there 🤦🏽‍♀️

   The ambiance is nice but the service could be better. Also this place allows you to make a reservation on open table and then they call you to confirm the reservation but also they decide to tell you bottle service is required for your table..my question is why is that not advertised on open table when making the reservation. I live almost 40 minutes from this place who wants to waste time and if it's only 2 of us I don't wanna spend almost $250 on a bottle and try to drive almost 40 minutes to get home..I would go back but it would probably only be with a group of us not just me & my man..overall it's a good time at this place

    This place is really a like a club. They serve food and drinks. But call ahead bc they will charge you a cover fee to get in separate from your bill. Sometimes it’s ladies night and you have to remind the hostess or they will charge you the entrance. A little shady but if you could get past all of that, you could have a good time. I think they have a page on IG, so check the night and be prepared to pay a fee or whatever. I am not exactly sure why you need to make a reservation if you have to pay an entrance fee.

    I celebrated my birthday and it was a great experience from the time I made the reservation! They called me to confirm the lady was very nice and enthusiastic. When I arrived they gave me and my guest star treatment. The MUSIC was 🔥🔥🔥 and The food was amazing! The staff was very accommodating to all our needs. Wasn’t a dull moment. Can’t wait to go back !!!! 🙌🏾

    The pros about the lounge is that it played a variety of genre music and the music level was loud. The cons about the lounge is me and my friends had to pay $20 for entry when we had bottle service. The place is too expensive

    The food was phenomenal, i would definitely recommend trying their different plates, very filling and delicious! We loved the oxtail buns! The ambiance was incredible between the DJ’s and the crowd! And We loved the service, we had an amazing time! We will be back.

    WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I dare to say worst place in NJ! Rudest host and security ever. This place is a SCAM! I tried celebrating my bday Saturday Mar. 6th there with 6 friends which I had a reservation for 4 people and I called earlier that day and I spoke to the manager (Alexis) and told her I needed to add two people and she said it was fine to just ask for her at the door and she will accommodate it. When we arrived I explained everything to the host and immediately they declined to let me speak to the manger because she was at the bar. (Mind you, when I spoke to her she had told me she was going to be at the bar, that the host was new and she could switch with her in the meantime) I told them all of this and they still insisted and told me they could only accommodate 5 people or else we had to get VIP which was bottle service of $450. I told them it would only be 5 so we could stick to our normal reservation... few mins later as we were waiting for the rest of the party to arrive, they tried to switch up the story and now they said we were still required to get bottle service even if we sat at the high chairs.. and we still had a 2 hour limit (even with bottle) but if we sat at VIP we could stay all night. It’s like we had no other option but to sit at VIP, then he commented “maybe your account don’t have enough for bottle service” which I told him it wasn’t the case, I just wanted a chill dinner. It was sketchy since the moment we arrived because none of this was no where on their social media, their website nor the reservation confirmation. Clearly states that it’s 2 hour limit UNLESS bottle service was added, when I showed him this he said “well that’s wrong information” how? Isn’t that your own website? Worst experience ever, almost ruined my birthday night specially since with covid mostly everywhere needs reservations specially on weekends. Either the manager needs to be aware of this scam happening at their door or this place needs to SHUT DOWN!

    We made a reservation and when we got to Republica they could not see the reservation so booking with open table isn’t a good idea because you have to call N to make a reservation and they never answer the phone

    Okay so the place was good and the music was good. Let me tell you where it’s “weird” You get charged a $10 credit card fee... what? It’s 2021. We all practically only own credit cards..... I’m sorry, I’m not sure what clientele you cater to that carries hundreds in cash but in the year 2021, most of your customers will pay with credit cards. Second off, the tip was included, okay fine, but then you’re also charged tip on the credit card fee and the sales tax.... Kay. Scam.

    I truly enjoyed my experience at Republic 23! I am so happy we finally have a spot like this in Bergen County. I no longer have to go to the city for vibes like this. The food was amazing! The music was also a great mix. The DJ definitely knew how to please the crowd. If you're looking for a nice spot with good music, food, and vibes, this is the place to go!

    It has been so long since I have been to a place like this. Everything was top Notch from food to Service, music and Vibes were 100% and management was actually involved with their guests making sure they were properly accommodated. 10 out of 10

    First off, this is a LOUNGE. I wanted to reiterate that. You will not get a “dining” experience. It’s high top tables, loud music, and bar type seating. Great for a night out or if you’re looking to have fun. FYI. Tip is included in your bill, ask for a printed copy if you want to verify the amount included because they will only show you and iPad summary.

    The food and music was awesome! Furthermore, the prices were expensive and after spending more than $500 for my birthday with bottle service, they told us we had to leave if we weren't ordering anything else. This place lacks in class, my guest and I were totally embarrassed due to them trying to seat as many people as possible.
