The restaurant name, Reserve 22, represents the 22 lakes that complement our 240 acres of scenic, golf course landscape, which is populated by native vegetation and diverse wildlife. Our conservation efforts allow you to take in the sights and sounds of nature in class and comfort.
The food is very good--the pork chops are amazing--and the room is bright and cheery, with a fire going in the winter time. We went on a Friday night during the NCAA basketball tournament and the noise level was very high, amplified by those watching games in the bar. Most weeknights it's not too bad. We go there regularly. Great beer menu and prices are reasonable.
Way too noisy! Will not go back! Food was okay (we had the fish fry), but my ears were throbbing from the noise. The music was way too loud, so the patrons were shouting over it.
We were there to watch the Irish Dancers and to eat. Dan, our server, was great in that he took our orders
for food as the show began and then brought the food to the table so everything was ready when we retured. Rain and staff get five stars for food and service.
Just having dinner with a friend
We had a lovely experience celebration a birthday here. The food was wonderful and everyone was very friendly.
It was an awesome night eating at Reservec 22. My husband really enjoyed his Chickrn Pot Pie!!
Went with our toddler grandson for the fish fry. It was excellent! Service was terrific!
Waitress Cheryl was phenomenal! This is the second time she's taken care of us.
Ambience welcoming and cozy. Our table by the window looking out on the patio with fireplace was lovely.
Food was excellent. Our guests were truly impressed!
Bartender was very , we had to ask to have the counter wiled down and we had to ask for menus.
We had a great night with very good food and service however the bar area was uncomfortably warm.
We had an enjoyable dinner at Reserve 22 as usual. We were greeted friendly by the hostess and directed to our reserved table immediately. Our server was Dan and although there was a capacity crowd we were served promptly and in a friendly manner. The drinks served were ample size and our party thought the food was great and good value, particularly because it was half price burger night. The restaurant did become a tad noisy but wasn’t bothersome. We are anxious to return and enjoy dinner on the patio in the spring.
We love meeting friends here. Very good food. A great place for conversation. Great beer selection.
The food was delicious. Everyone in our party was pleased. Our server seemed distracted. He was not very engaged nor attentive to our table. It may have been he had too many tables to manage. He just seemed distant. The restaurant is loud. Even carrying a conversation with people directly across the table was difficult.
The food and service were both very good. My wife and I both noticed that the plates looked bland and sparce. A little garnish would have made it look a lot more attractive.
Food was EXCELLENT! Wait staff was friendly and made great suggestions. We were there on Valentine’s Day and they had wonderful live music. We live in Denver but if we lived in Glen Ellyn this would be our “go-to”. Would love to try out the patio!
A great place for Valentines dinner. The lobster bisque was great! Lot’s of chunks of lobster.
Cheryl was our server and she was very helpful in addressing the menu but also spoke with the chef about a guest's concerns about her food sensitivities
We were there to watch the Super Bowl. Nice buffet with a good price. We’ll probably do it again next year!
The only reason I gave this 2 STARSis because we wanted to hear the calls of the ref and DEFINITELY the Super Bowl commercials but could not because it wears OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD! Otherwise we out on a coed gf league and after the afternoon league always have dinner on the patio.
The manager, Rain, was so helpful and kind. Was able to accommodate our group.
nice setting, okay service, okay food (not great but ok)
Love the January BYO with no corkage fee. It really makes going out to eat so much more affordable
Combination of nice variety of food choices at reasonable prices, full bar with good brands, and attentive, but not hovering, service in a comfortable living room type atmosphere made for a very pleasant evening catching up with old friends.
Food was good, service was great, restaurant looked great. Temp in restaurant was cold when we arrived, but heated up after a while. I will go back.
Beautiful remodel, so sophisticated and the food is excellent and service too
Dan was exceptional and allowed time for 2 friends to 'catch up' without pressure or 'circling'!
We appreciate having the opportunity to bring our own wine!
Hostesses were very accomodating and flexible with seating options
Quiet small amount of diners , service was friendly butslow . Fellow diner was called “ young lady” , patronizing . And when checks were asked for was told we should have told her in the beginning that we wanted individual checks that would have been easier on her.ususlly that is asked by the waitress in the beginning .
New Year’s Eve event. Recently remodeled. So elegant! Nicely decorated for the holiday. Great food, service and ambiance. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed. Friday’s are all you can eat fish and chips. Delicious!
We made a reservation on opentable for 4:30 on New Year's Eve. The hostess informed us that the kitchen did not open until 5:00 and she wasn't sure why opentable had earlier reservations listed. She explained the situation and sat us at a table informing us that she told the kitchen it needed to be ready for the evening. She and the wait staff were very accommodating and we enjoyed our dinner with no delays. The restaurant was recently renovated and my entire family liked the new style. We will definitely go to Reserve 22 again.
Quiet setting. Newly remodeled but seems pretty much the same. Limited menu. Ideal place for summer outdoor dining, but very ordinary for indoor dining. Friendly staff.
Pretty dining room with tables spaced well. Service was good however when they brought the food out it was just warm, not hot and they forgot my daughters meal. The waitress did make up for the missing meal. Food was just ok.
Food was ok nothing special. Soup and sandwich no bread choice was asked, coleslaw portion was small . Ordered a scope of vanilla ice cream with hot fudge it came out with Hershey’s syrup and a soup spoon. We wanted a holiday (eggnog) drink didn’t have any . Coffee was weak & 1/2& 1/2 was expired.
Ate at Reserve 22 before attending a performance at the College of DuPage's MAC Theater. It is very close and convenient to the College. Both meals were enjoyable. I had the quesadilla steak special. It was good with a little kick. My friend had the Nicoise Salad. At $15 it was a great value. It was huge and the tuna was delicious. The service was very attentive. The noise level was a tad high. The dining room has recently been redecorated and looks very refreshed with modern lights, new chairs. This is a go to spot for me in the summer when the patio is open.
Love the remodel. Food always good. I like the flatbreads and sandwiches. My wife had steak and said it was quite good. Good beer and liquor selection
Good food at a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere, especially in the warmer months when the patio is open.
Pleasant experience. I was surprised how large the bar area was. It was quite busy the night I went and the food took awhile, but the server was very friendly. Will definitely go back. Lots of parking
Great food and nice atmosphere. Near the MAC -- so very convenient for before or after a show. We will be back.
Birthday ... it was ok. Seemed rather scattered.
This review would have been much different if our server didn't disappear after we placed our dessert order. First, the food was good. We ordered the pork chops and the mahi mahi as our entrees. Both were prepared very well and were enjoyable. Our server was nice and did a check back on us. We placed our dessert order after we finished and that was when he disappeared. We waited a good 15 minutes for our order and eventually called the manager over who said she would check on it and didn't do anything but talk to people at another table. We then got the attention of our server and told him we wanted our dessert now and he went to the kitchen and got it. In their defense, the place was crowded with theater goers and it did seem they were short handed, but if they knew there was an event at COD with 2 shows, they should have staffed accordingly for the evening. We may give them one more chance, but I'll be sure to see if there is an event at the Mac before we decide to come back, because I don't think they handled this very well.
Nice waitress. Good service, and good food
