    This was our first time visiting R62. Living in Lynden, we were excited to have a farm-to-table spot just across the border. We're very happen with how the evening went. We showed up early and they sat us at another table while the guests at our reserved table finished up. Our server was attentive and very kind. Our food and drinks were really good as well. What I really liked is that even though the place was full, it wasn't loud at all. We'll be back!

    Came here for a friends birthday and had a really enjoyable time. The food was delicious and I left full and happy! The restaurant is extremely quiet and I found that there wasn’t a lot of privacy between tables, however it is nice and quiet so you can have good conversation with everyone at our table. I did overhear other people complaining about the cost so I would like to remind people that this is a “Farm to Table” restaurant, so the price reflects the quality! 100% recommend and look forward to returning again!

    The food presentation, flavors, and blend of aromas were all top notch. Decided to come here for a beautiful dinner and was not disappointed in the least. It is an expensive restaurant, but it is well worth the money spent. If you are looking for fine dining in Abbotsford, this place cannot be beat.

    We booked a high table and they were going to seat us somewhere else (this has happened several times for us) until we said something. Regulars seem to get first pick of where to sit over what is booked. Fish was over cooked but the rest of the meal was great. Our server was great.

    The food is consistently fantastic! We go here to celebrate special occasions because the cost is expensive but the quality of the food is incredible. I had booked with a note that we were celebrating our anniversary. There was no acknowledgement of this by our server (we had gift bags and cards on the table, so it was pretty obvious). Our server seemed “people-weary”. Almost like she just wanted to be done for the day so she could go home. We are very easy patrons to serve and we rarely complain but the only time the server was personable was when it came time for us to decide what tip to add to our bill…

    Out for dinner with my visiting sister…we had the special….tenderloin dinner and gazpacho The soup was so good….could have made dinner of just that Then the tenderloin…cooked beautifully and the vegetables delicious too It was well worth the visit to Restaurant 62

    I have been to this restaurant many times. This last time the food wasnt as good as it has been. I had the beef tenderloin. I found it kind of tasteless and the rest of the meal (veggies and potatoes) very salty. I probably wouldn't order this again, but I will be back.

    Food was mediocre at best. Appetizer hummus dip was good but the bread was dry. Appetizer ravioli special was disappointing as two of four were dry and hard. Duck breast was over cooked and the sauce was over salted. Short rib was well cooked and generous but again, the sauce was over salted. This used to be a favourite restaurant for us but as all four of our dishes were flawed, we are unlikely to return.

    For the past 8 years, I have to start by saying 62 is my absolute favourite go-to restaurant for fine dining in Abbotsford and I am a regular who salivates in anticipation of eating there. Neither my guests nor my myself have ever had a bad experience or complaint in any respect with any of the chefs creations - in fact I said to our friends who joined us from NVan “anything you order here will be exceptional!” My husband and I have even been known to give the chefs a round of applause after a meal. When we foodies moved to Abby from Vancouver we thanked the powers that be for you but last nights meal (special) and the service we received was perplexing, felt disingenuous and for the first time ever I desperately struggled to get through even the first few bites of my meal, I hate to complain because I realize taste is subjective, and I appreciate and support adventurous chef creations and combinations. However, I felt the rib-eye special wasn’t a winner so much so that I feel the need to write this review of it. It was the first time in my life that I found the entire meal to be inedible and off-putting to the point where I literally couldn’t take another bite. I was of course starving, and embarrassed about this in front of my friends. I tried. I also found no comfort in the bread as my meal replacement (it’s no longer the authentic-style crusty baguette with the fabulously stretchy interior) and the only offer I received after bringing up to the staff in private was to re-fire the steak it which wouldn’t have helped in this case since the it was already charred, and the combination of peppercorn sauce combined with a particularly pungent blue cheese tasted like fuel, burnt and extremely mouldy, and it somehow made the beef taste gamey. It had all of us at the table wondering if this was indeed beef? Anyhow, this flavour had permeated everything on the plate and so I left hungry and disappointed, and hurt wondering if they cared or had even tasted it.
