    Celebrating my son's entrance into Bishop's University in Lennoxville. We had a magical experience. The service is Michelin star quality, the food was superb, all courses were exceptional, the cheese was delicious, the wine list is extensive and the setting is beautiful with the well preserved property and the magnificent view of the lake. Highly recommend this place for a special occasion.

    Felt like we were at a Michelin star restaurant in France - over due to them - so improved, in so many ways since our last visit a few years ago…. Superb from start to finish!

    L'agneau était plein de gras, le dessert aux cerises ne goûtait aucunement les cerises. Ça goûtait que le sucre!!!! Le risotto en entrée était excellent. Le service était médiocre. Personne nous as demandé si on voulait quelque chose à boire, ils sont venue simplement nous demander si on étaient prêt à commander! On leurs a demandé de prendre l'apéro avant de leurs donner notre commande. Compte tenu de la cote du restaurant, on s'attendait à une compétition au niveau de la Taniere3 ou autres et c'était très loin d'être le cas. Il y du travail à faire!!!!

    A disappointment. Beautiful space and great service, but very sub-par food. Five of our collective six courses were disappointing, most particularly a scallops entree that featured three, nickel-diameter, overcooked scallops in a forest of fennel stalks. The only course that was great was the cheese course (and the precursor cheese cart). You’re much better off skipping Le Hatley during your stay and just dining at the Tap Room or in town.
