   The cuisine beyond perfect…highly creative with unique taste sensations with every course. We appreciate “leisurely/European” service but we found it much slower than the last time we dined there. That said, the attention was impeccable. Dining there is an unequalled, fabulous gourmet experience.

   Il ne reste pratiquement plus de bons restaurants à Sherbrooke et fans les alentours. Mais heureusement, il y a encore le Manoir Hovey, bien meilleur que le Ripple Cove où la qualité a fortement baissé de puis son rachat.

   This is an outstanding restaurant. The food was made to perfection. The presentation of the dishes was amazing . The service was the highest one can expect. The chef is highly creative, and modified the menu for our food restrictions in no time The knowledge of the waiters and the Sommelier was phenomenal. I highly recommend this restaurant.     We had a wonderful meal. The dining room has a wall of windows overlooking the lake. Tables are far enough apart that there is no sense of crowding. The service was extremely professional, attentive yet friendly. The pacing was just right - enough time to enjoy each course and the right amount time between courses. The best part was the food - all beautifully presented and delicious.

    This was our second time at this restaurant and we were just as amazed this time as we were the last time. We took the discovery menue with 8 services (no wine) and it was exquisite. We went on a food journey on which we were both destabilized and delighted! Each course was just copious enough to make sure you can really taste everything separately and together, without being so large that you are unable to eat everything (tough we did declare that we were full at course 6; it's a good thing the desserts were both delicious and light). The service, just like last time, was the best we have ever received, even in other high end restaurants. Each course was served at a regular interval, we never had to ask for anything, as everything was provided exactly on time. We felt like royalty every step of the way. Servers, that we should probably call maître d'hôtel and not servers, were quiet and polite while still being able to joke around with us (as this was our mood). They obviously adapted their service to our table and our general mood for the night. They even went above and beyond in changing one of our dessert (whiteout us asking) because they saw that we liked to share and try different things and wanted us to be able to try one more dessert. All of these little things made for and amazing evening. This second visit confirmed our first impression that this is, by far, the best restaurant we have ever been to. It is leagues beyond any other high end restaurant we have been to. Don't be mistaken, it IS expensive. It is , by far, the most expensive restaurant we have been to. We paid 800$ for the night for 3 people for the discovery menue + 1 cocktail each + 20% service that we gave. 800$ and it was worth every single cent. If you can afford it, you will not regret your decision.

    We enjoyed a lovely stay at Hovey Manor. We bought the breakfast and dinner package with our stay. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed sampling the items on the tasting plate. We looked forward to our dinners each night. Everything was outstanding, the food, the flavors, the presentation! Can't wait to return!

    Bel endroit, j’aime mieux cette décoration plus sobre. Début de service expédié…pas de menu des vins…l’entrée du Chef servie avant qu’on ait notre 1er verre. Menu des vins sur iPad, on n’aime pas. Serveur très gentil et professionnel. De belles découvertes en bouche, bon pain maison. Une belle façon de se gâter!!!

    Compte tenu du prix payé on se serait attendu à ce que les 8 services, que comportait le menu choisi, soit tous des WOW! Malheureusement à peine 4 sur 8 étaient très bien. Pour les 4 autres c'était bien sans plus. Au niveau des vins tous s'harmonisaient bien avec chaque service.

    It wasn't clear how to park because there was construction going on in there parking lot. I had to call. The cocktails were too strong. The potage tasted like water. The staff was very professional and friendly. Ambiance was top notch.

    Nous avons commandé le menu découverte avec l’accord mets et vins prestige. La cuisine recherchée, préparée avec attention, met parfaitement en valeur les produits d’ici. Le sommelier en partenariat avec le chef a su nous proposer une sélection de vins qui s’accordait judicieusement avec les différents services. Le personnel était chaleureux, attentionné, accueillant et a su dépasser nos attentes. Nous avons passé une excellente soirée en famille.

    We had our 25th anniversary dinner here,here while staying at the inn This was perhaps the best experience we have ever had dining. The food was superb, the service was second to none, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Truly, the experience of a lifetime. We greatly appreciated it for our celebration dinner.
