Nouveau restaurant, au design très épuré et recherché. Nous étions la pour le brunch du dimanche, et absolument tout était délicieux; des huitres au viennoiseries, en passant par les quiches, les viandes, ainsi que les plats principaux. Dans la section bar, le concept du barman robot (R1B1) est très amusant et impressionnant ! Il y a également une animatrice pour amuser les enfants avec des petits jeux (vraiment une bonne idée). On y retourne, c'est certain !

Ce restaurant vaut le détour ! Et pas simplement car un robot fort sympathique vous sert une coupe de champagne (si si). Non ce restaurant mérite d'abord le déplacement par l'originalité et la qualité des plats : par exemple, la betterave en dessert est super bonne. Ajoutez à ça un service chaleureux et impeccable pour un prix raisonnable (menu à 45$ le soir) compte tenu du standing. Merci à Olivier, le sommelier, pour nous avoir fait voyager dans le Lubéron et découvrir un excellent vin :)
Au final une très belle expérience, on reviendra.
The front of house hostess was amazing, informative and fun to speak to. Food was very good (portions of course small, but that’s expected). Robot bartender was cool
C'est un beau restaurant, bien décoré mais trop bruyant pour un souper romantique. La nourriture est bonne mais rien d'extraordinaire . Le service n'est pas à l'hauteur pour un restaurant gastronomique . Le bar est intéressant avec le robot qui nous sert des cocktails variés .
Great food, but worst service ever. We were seated and left to ourselves for 15 minutes before someone came to see us. We asked for the card of wine, and the waitress said she would bring it later but that she would take our order now, as if she was in a rush. We ended up taking the wine pairing option, and received no explanation as to what we were drinking. At the end, spent another good 15 minutes after having finished before someone showed up, and another 10 or so before receiving the bill we asked for. Also, 8$ for flat water is also ridiculous - after telling the waitress she simply said that this is normal for downtown Montreal - I work and live in downtown Montreal and have been to the best restaurants in town and trust me, Joel Robuchon, Club Chasse et Peches and others don't charge 8$ for flat water. Never going back and this restaurant will most likely close in 2019 if they dont change their terrible customer service.
Menu spécial montreal à table intéressant. Portions trop petites (accompagnement quasi inexistant) mais les plats goûtés étaient très bons. nous avions pris l'accord mets et vins et il nous a fallu réclamer le verre à chaque plat.
Dans l'ensemble, bon restaurant et nous y avons passé une agréable soirée.
Food presentation, taste, and quality were excellent! Portions could have been bigger.
Service was confusing - they seemed distracted, stressed, and disorganized at times.

Just getting our coats was a challenge at the end of the night... restaurant person was annoyed at us for not being able to find our coat.
Nous y sommes allés dans le cadre de Montréal à table, nous avons passé une très belle soirée, bonne nourriture, bon service, bons vins.
Took my wife out on a date and she loved it.

Bien que le barman robot attire et attise la curiosité, le plus remarquable reste le restaurant.
Chic dans sa décoration, un délice de tentation dans sa carte des vins... J'étais déjà aux anges.
Quand au menu raffiné, je ne savais pas ce que je devais choisir.
Mais je ne m'attendais pas à ce que le repas soit aussi succulent, un vrai délice pour la papilles. Ce qui m'a valu de me faire niaiser par la personne qui m'accompagné. Puisque d'après elle, à chaque boucher, j'esquissais un sourire, je fermé les paupières et on pouvait lires le plaisir sur mon visage.
service was outstanding very friendly and fun staff, decor quite beautiful, too be fair new restaurant and went during Montreal’s L’table week .. food was interesting , sadly left hungry, wine was awesome. Wish I left feeling I would highly recommend this place ! I’m sure given some time the owners will work out the portions and add a bit of “wow” to the meals. The staff made up significantantly the sorry to say less then extraordinary meal.. understandable as the newness of such a huge adventure , wishing you all the best .
Une super expérience de brunch ! Produits très qualitatifs (pains, brioché, croissants, charcuterie), très bonne cuisine (quiches, soupes, salades, crêpes, gateaux, mousses), et en plus il y en a pour tous les goûts (huîtres !). Bref, on en a bien profité, d’autant plus qu’il y a des activités pour les enfants dans le basement avec une animatrice (des expériences de chimie, ils ont adoré). Et c’est dans le basement justement que petits et grands peuvent se faire servir par le robot-barman, je n’avais jamais vu ça, vraiment unique ! En plus service impeccable et chaleureux. Allez-y sans tarder !
Nice on paper but not worth the visit. The robot is fun for the first 2min, but gets old very quickly.
The food was nice but way too overpriced.
The decor is not nice, doesnt get you in the mood of a nice dinner.
The staff was nice but again, did not manage to get the level of the so-called “experience” higher.
I would not recommend people to go, i may recommend people not to go.

Again, we are a Gastronomic and Technologic restaurant. A genuine destination at the heart of Montreal’s downtown. We are a team of humans – and a robot – that enjoy to meet, share and learn from our clientele and thrive to deliver the best experience and service. PLEASE, don’t be shy. Keep on to be our guests… and share with us on premises - too!
Disappointing. Food not hot enough. The sommelier was not fully knowledgeable of his wine list. The general manager did not have a clean haircut enough to inspire confidence of the upcoming experience.
Prices were too high for the quality and the research required for the dishes on the menu that night. An espresso at 4.50 $ should be exceptional. It was not. Execution and service was very good and friendly.
First visit, and I am already in love !
I was lucky to have lunch at the XVIXVI during the "Golden Montreal Restaurant Week", and had a wonderful meal for only 30$. Three courses, starting with a beautiful plate of raw Scallops (see picture). Excellent lobster risotto next , warm and tasty. And then an amazing Beet ice-cream (!!) that combined a lot of surprising textures.
I will definitely return and brings customers, colleagues and friend, hopefully in the evening so that we can have a chat with the Robot bartender !
