Restaurant Nonya Cuisine Indonésienne
I am so happy to have found this restaurant. It has everything I love! The food is authentic, flavourful and the menu has many (almost too many) options to choose from. I ordered the green curry and the spring roles to start. The host or owner was lovely. Very welcoming and informative. The portions are generous and the price point is reasonable. The atmosphere was warm and down to earth. I will most definitely be back again to try other things on the menu.
Une belle découverte dans le mile end, serveur et serveuses très gentils
This place is really a treasure, the food is to die for... We had the Sea Food choice for two... The presentation of the food was incredible beautiful, The Fish, the Shrimp, the Scallops, the Octopus, the Squid, the Eggplant all cooked To perfection as well... A definite place to return, we really enjoyed it...
Surprising find in the area. It has a cute covered patio area where they sat us. There are various options of how to order, from a set menu price fixed, to a feast for 2 or 4, and finally a la carte. Caters to all types of folks.
The food was excellent. The sambal chicken, though advertised as spicy, was just right for my pallete. The calamari, beef stew and short ribs were all excellent as well.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They even stayed open a little later for our group to finish our dinner conversation.
Wonderful, traditional Indonesian food. Everybody should try this restaurant. Here's a hint: Order the satay! It's so delicious.
Shared 2 tasting menus with 4 people. Overall the dishes were delicious. Least favourite was the calamari....too rubbery. Service was lovely and the restaurant is pretty.
Le plat ne valait pas du tout le coût. En plus il n’était pas chaud. Pour finir, la visite aux toilettes m’a mis devant de cuisinier entrain d’uriner la porte ouverte et qui quitte en vitesse sans se laver les mains.
Amazing food and great music! Service was also great!
The place is very good, and everything represents Indonesia perfectly. The service is also very good.
Voici un excellent restaurant de cuisine indonésienne (assez inusité à Montréal). recommandable en tous points!
We liked tasting again indonesian food that we liked very much when we traveled to Indonesia.
The food was not as good as what we remembered but it was an interesting experience.
Nourriture correcte, mais pour le service, il y a place à amélioration.
Nonya was absolutely delicious and had so many vegan options! The service was quick and pleasant and I can’t wait to go back!
Lovely discover, great service...like travelling to another part of the world on a cold, grey day in Montreal.
Food was delicious and beautifully presented. service was exceptional.
The food was delicious (my friend and I had one of the tasting menus) and service was excellent. The ambience in this restaurant is also very nice. However, the place got a bit too noisy, as some fairly loud guests (a rather large group, seated quite close to our table) were having some kind of celebration. Nevertheless, overall, it was a wonderful dinner. Highly recommended.
Very friendly, neighborhood restaurant, with world class cuisine and lovely ambience. Gado Gado is delicious. Vegetarian/ vegan friendly.
The chef has changed and the original owners are not as present as they used to. The food in this place used to be very special and amazing. Now it is just good.
We had not been back to Nonya in quite some time and we were extremely disappointed. The staff and kitchen seemed overwhelmed. We waited close to an hour for our food and when the food came out, they brought us the wrong orders. Some of the food was also cold. We had great food there before but after this negative experience don’t think we will be back.
