Service was outstanding. Ambience was very basic. Was below expectations for fine dining The food was average to below average for the price and hype. Not good value. From the menu, we tried the following: Appetizer: scallops - . This dish was good but very small Main: 1. beef tenderloin. Very good cut of meat. Lean and tender. Best part of the meal 2. Sea bass - below average. Mostly tasteless and fishy Dessert: coffee mouse - was a mix of fruit, vinegar yogurt with a tiny drop mouse. Very disappointing, tiny and tasteless blend. Do not get. Overall we were disappointed with the food that charged Michelin star type prices

C’est la plus grande table du Québec et elle a peu d’égale au Canada et au Etats-Unis. L’ensemble de l’œuvre: salle, accueil, services, sommelier, choix des vins et mariage, qualité des produits et surtout qualité des plats au niveau de présentation, des odeurs, des saveurs, des textures, des contrastes ou des harmonies et des juste proportion. Aller chez Toque c’est apprécier, vivre et comprendre ce qu’est la grande cuisine et la gastronomie québécoise.

Outstanding experience. All the staff went above and beyond - strongly recommend prestige wine pairings, if you appreciate wine! As someone with interest in the fine dining culinary field, we were treated to private tour of kitchen and the cellar; exceeded expectations. Truly exceptional. Strongly recommend

Juste wow !!! C'était beau dans l'assiette. De l'art ni plus ni moins. Et que dire du goût et des saveurs. Re-wow!!! 5 étoiles ce n'est pas assez, il en faudrait 10!!! Le service a été vraiment exceptionnel. Tout le monde a été attentif et très courtois. Les serveurs, sommeliers et maître d'hôtel ont tous répondu avec bienveillance à nos multiples questions. Encore là, il faudrait 10 étoiles. Nous étions 4 et tous les 4 avons adoré notre expérience au Toqué. Nous y retournerions les yeux fermés sans aucune hésitation.

Too overrated!!! It was an absolute disappointment. The food was plain, unflavored and boring. We ordered a Halibut and it tasted like boiled fish… the same with the dessert, boiled apple with cinnamon. We weren't expecting 3 Michelin stars, but a dinner at a Hospital would be tasty. Btw I never write reviews but this was too disappointing!

The food was quite good and creative. But I sat there desperately trying to make eye contact with someone for 25 min to ask for the check (after we already declined further ordering), which felt either gendered or poor service in general and ruined the night. It was not worth $575 for food that was comparable to that of half the price the price and service that was worse.

It was for our couple anniversary. We choose the 7 plates dégustations. The service was on point and the food was incredible! I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who want to discover new incredible flavors!

Un service attentionné, discret et chaleureux à la fois. Des vins exceptionnels, bien choisis et bien décrits. Quand on voyage et qu’on compare avec des grandes tables, Toqué! demeure la référence. Vu l’heure tardive de notre réservation, nous avons opté pour le repas à la carte. Tout était cuit et présenté à la perfection. Le service était efficace et attentionné et il y avait une belle ambiance dans le restaurant, pas trop bruyant pour un samedi soir. On prévoit déjà y retourner afin d’essayer leur menu dégustation.

Recommend ordering ala cart (and not doing the tasting menu). We started at 8:30pm (very hungry) and finished our 7-course tasting menu 3.5 hours later (epic fail on service speed, even after requesting to pick up the pace). About half the dishes were of a caliber for a tasting menu, but desserts were the biggest disappointment. The wine and sommelier was the best thing about our experience. Filtered tap water for $20?! Vibe is now very casual, felt quite overdressed wearing a sports coat. I can easily think of 5 places in Montreal with better food/service for a lot less money.

Ma conjointe et moi sommes venus célébrer notre anniversaire Belle réception, le personnel était très professionnel. Plats biens travaillés et exécutés, les saveurs étaient au rendez-vous. Malheureusement, notre serveur est venu nous voir qu'après 20 minutes assis, et nous avons attendu 35 minutes pour recevoir l'appéro à table. Il semblait manquer de cadence au service. Une fois l'amuse bouche servi, et les premiers verres terminés, nous avons commandé une bouteille de vin. Celle-ci est arrivée après que nous ayons terminé l'entrée. Avec une addition de 500$, le tout est cher payé.
