The roasted quail was super juicy and well paired with mushroom purée . The sucking pig for entree was very tender and cooked to roze. I would go there again !

We had the tasting menu with wine pairings for a birthday dinner. They were very attentive to our needs, which included a food allergy. The food and the ambience was playful and adventurous, and next time we're in Montreal, we will come back.

We ordered the menu degustation for two. Everything was absolutely perfect. The food was divine and the staff very accommodating to our food allergies. No joke, this is THE best restaurant in Montreal.

If I gave them a 10\10 you would think for sure they are friends of mine :) Everything was delicious I didn't order the tasting menu because our reservation was late I had the foie gras (melt in your mouth) and the duck (absolument delicieux) une creme de mais comme mise en bouche was heaven I had the baba au rhum for my dessert I regret telling my husband I was going to share it with him lol Overall everything was excellent! Go yourself and find out :)

Soooo amazing from start to finish. The food and wine pairings were phenomenal. Every meal besides the last cut of meat wasn’t the best, and the only reason I wouldn’t have given that dish 5-stars was because the cut had a little chewy tendon in it. No fault to the chef. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Again, the food was PHENOMENAL. Hats off to the Chef and team. The service was exquisite. Well looked after and very knowledgeable in food and especially wine. Being a seat for one at the bar, I would’ve like to converse with the staff/bartender a little more, but that’s ok. Decor was beautiful. I loved the extra touch with repurposing the chipped plates with gold flakes. Wonderful thought there. The washrooms could transition better though. They don’t keep up with the beauty of the dining room. All in all, AMAZING!!! I’ll head back for sure when I’m in town next.

Toque is as good today as it was when I first went there as a food writer in the 1990s. Remarqueable! Both my appetizer and main were an artful mix of ingredients: Fois gras terrine with corn cakes and peach purée and slices Magnet de canard with Madeira sauce and multiple bites of veg, including lobster mushrooms and the best artichoke hearts I’ve had in a long time. The duck was perfectly cooked to order. Our service professional,attentive, and personable. It’s peaceful environment was well-suited to the fine dining restaurant Toque thoroughly still is. Merci!

We had the tasting menu with wine pairing in a beautiful setting over 4.5 hours...quite a commitment for a table of 2. It's expensive for just serving items from the a la carte menu...and, honestly, took too long. We were also surprised by two other things...proteins and accompaniments were duplicated in the tasting menu. For example, tuna served twice or blueberries used twice isn't creative enough at this level. I wouldn't do it in my own home and don't expect it in a top rated establishment. Additionally, duplicating exact items from the ala carte menu in smaller portions for each course was very disappointing. If we had known this would be the chef's choice tasting menu, we wouldn't have chosen it. Each course was tasty, for sure, but overall, a disappointment in terms of culinary creativity and surprise for the reasons already given. This was the first time we'd experienced a tasting menu that appeared to be nearly completely lifted from the regular restaurant menu. We now have a new question to be certain to ask when considering a tasting menu...will it be a carbon copy of the regular menu in small portions or a completely special experience that only tasting menu guests enjoy? Kind of takes the wind out of the sails when the folks seated next to you are having abundant a la carte items that are exactly the same as what your small plate versions are.

Fantastic fine dining restaurant with lots and lots of continuous attention to detail and outrageously high prices for tiny pieces of food, if that is what you are looking for. The foie gras and tuna were amazingly tender and delicious, but the duck was tough and loaded with impossible to chew tendon. The service was impeccable, but way over the top with somebody constantly standing over our table to help us with help we did not need. If this is the kind of dinner you are interested in, this is the place for you.

Nous avons malheureusement été déçu de notre expérience au Toqué! Nous avions très hâte d’essayer ce restaurant réputé mais ça n’a malheureusement pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes pour le prix payé. Nous avions l’option pescetarienne. Les quantités étaient restreintes, les plats bons mais sans le facteur « WoW » et il n’y a pas eut beaucoup de fruits de mer. Nous y sommes allés en semaine. Peut-être qu’il y a une différence avec la fin de semaine. Le service était bien. Nous avons eut 3 services de pain. Nous n’étions pas pleins à la fin du repas malgré tout. Malheureusement ça n’aura pas été l’expérience escomptée. C’est dommage car nous avions vraiment hâte d’essayer ce restaurant renommé.

Ce fut la plus belle soirée gastronomiqie que nous avons vécu. De notre arrivée à notre départ le personnel se sont pleinement adaptés à nos besoins et nos connaissances en gastronomie. Même si notre connaissances en vin était très limitée, les sommeliers se sont ajustés pour vulgariser la chose et nous faire comprendre l'origine et tout ce quin se cachait derrière les vins. La nourriture était extraordinaire, la délicatesse des plats et la recherche derrière ceux-ci valait chaque dollar. L'ambiance était très agréable ni trop fort ni trop chargé. Une soirée mémorable.

We did the tasting menu (7 courses). Ben, our host was amazing. The servers did great explaining each dish to us. At first, we were enjoying the first couple of courses but we notice that the portions are becoming smaller and smaller. Eventually, a ‘bird’ tweeted to us that we were being served half portions but would be paying full price. That made me sad. The food was excellent, having very fresh and natural flavours, carefully prepared with culinary science to it but the portions were made smaller for us. I don’t know why. Is it because were tiny people and seemed to have small appetite? I don’t know.
