Since 1954 the Reversing Falls Restaurant has presided above the waters of the Reversing Falls. Experience local foods while viewing the Reversing Falls Rapids phenomenon. Our chef utilizes seafood from the Maritimes area, including seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Aside from ground floor dining views our facility offers rooftop deck dining during favorable weather. Rooftop deck dining is reached by elevator and includes access to the entire rooftop observation area, The Plank and Theatre which features an entertaining twelve minute film revealing how the Bay of Fundy and The Reversing Falls Rapids works. All public areas of are facility are licensed. We are a LSR (Limited Service Restaurant)

This restaurant is expensive with no good reason except a spectacular river view (similar view from outside and you have to spend extra $ to go to the sky deck). The place seems to be a fine dinning restaurant (some area only) but both services and food are not, and below average. You have to stand, order food and pay first at the cashier before they take you to the table.

Even though they were understaffed with limited servers the kitchen staff and management stepped up to make sure everyone had great service on a pretty busy Mother’s Day. Very friendly staff and the fish and chips were solid and came out in good time. Definitely NOT a “1 star” experience and the view was great!

When I rated the service at only 2 stars, that was not because the staff were not pleasant and helpful, but because their hands were somewhat tied by the new change to a non-full-service restaurant. We had our mother - in her eighties - with us, and while she is quite mobile, there would have been a fair bit of standing while we waited to look at the menu and submit our order, so we went straight to the Chandalier Room, where our reservation was, and sat where we chose (as we were told to do). We were told after the fact that there was no cutlery on the table because they didn't use the booths except for large parties. (We were 4 people. You could only have comfortably fit 5 - or maybe 6 - in the booth). The table was not clean. We WERE able to get copies of the menus so we could make our selections at the table and then go to the front counter to submit them. The young man there was very pleasant, but also seemed very confused, and we needed to go over our order several times before he was able to get it entered correctly. Once we had returned to our table, I recalled that I had been told we'd be given a buzzer to let us know when our food was ready to pick up at the bar, but we hadn't been given one. We were able to flag down a server who was taking drinks to another table. She wiped our table for us, brought us cutlery, salt and pepper, napkins, and water, and went to check on our food. It was ready, so she brought it to us. She was very pleasant and efficient, but the venue is in no way set up for the cafeteria-like service they are trying to implement, and it was all very confusing. The views were lovely out the windows, and the food was nicely presented (though underseasoned), but the process did not promote a relaxing dining experience, so - no - I would not recommend.

The food was not made fresh. Everything was pre made prior to ordering. The selection of wine is very limited and did not have what was on drinks menu.

The food was pretty bad, the chicken parmesan with the pasta with canned and cold sauce, the bread was not fresh, and the roasted mushroom ravioli was dry and cold. The restaurant was practically empty, and we were at the table for more than 15 minutes without being served or offered something to drink. When they finally arrived at our table, I ordered a draft beer but they informed me that the machine wasn't working so they didn't have beers, I opted for a horrible sangria. On the other hand, the carpet is very dirty, it is very unpleasant. I regret spending money on this restaurant, it was not worth it at all. If I can rescue something, it would be the view of the river from the table we were assigned.
