   Food was not hot or flavorful. Drinks were weak. Apps and dinner came out at same time. Service not great. Views by window overlooking falls were very nice.

   Amazing views, and that’s why you go here. They should be packed every day, but aren’t. And that’s for a reason. Food is edible, but hardly anything special. Servers are very nice, but they are also very inattentive. Spent more time chatting at the podium than serving or checking on guests. This place has SO MUCH potential.

   Dramatic setting overlooking the reversing rapids. If you get one of the few tables right along the far edge that overlook the rapids, it's more worth the visit. On our visit, service was very slow and uneven; I think our primary server was new as she seemed a bit confused about taking our order, then forgot to bring us our drinks until we asked for them some time later. Another server ended up bringing us our food. Food was OK but nothing remarkable. I think eating here gave a discount on the rooftop overlook, but that part really isn't necessary as you can get good looks at the rapids from the roadside overlook, the bridge and the overlook on the other side of the bridge. Do go at high tide and at low tide to see the effect of the tides.

   We chose this restaurant mainly for the view of the reversing falls. After we parked and as we walked up to the restaurant we were wondering if it was a good choice. The grounds surrounding the exterior of the building were very unkempt. Lots of weeds growing along the walkways that looked they hadn't be cut in weeks if at all. Also gravel, sand and wood chips on the sidewalk by the road that was obviously from passing vehicles and from winter snow and ice management. This should have all been cleaned up by the middle of the summer. However, once inside, the restaurant itself was well maintained, clean and the ambience was very nice. We were shown to our table, which was next to the window and the view was wonderful. However, we had to ask for cutlery, water to drink, and even a salt shaker (there was pepper). The service was quick and the food was hot and good but not exceptional. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall it was a good experience but they need to step up their game on outside maintenance.

    The view was lovely, but the meal was not. In particular, my partners steak was over cooked and had alot of grizzle. My salmon filet was nice but the mixed veggies were rather bland. My rice pilaf was crunchy. The service was acceptable.
