Rewind for the second time this month!!! Everything is aamzinggggg the bartender makes the best drinks and the lemon drops have candy inside them!!! Sooo good!!! We will be back. Deep fried Oreos are my favorite 🤩

We kind of found this place by accident but was not disappointed. Our waiter was so awesome. and the food was absolutely amazing. from the drinks and appetizers to the entres. Definitely would go back

Cute place with good comfort food. The noise level was low because the place was not busy. Service level is rated low because their credit card system did not accept our corporate Visa cards (tried two peoples’s cards) but it accepted our personal Visa cards, which makes zero sense. So if you are traveling for business, avoid eating here if using a corporate card.

Wow on a Wednesday We booked Rewind for an early Wednesday dinner. We were seated by the large picture window which was great for people watching. Be prepared for the comfy retro couches in place of chairs if you are seated near the front. Our server, Vanessa was phenomenal. She was extremely knowledgeable about the restaurant, the food & the surrounding area. If you’re looking for great food & a smooth jazz vibe then Wednesday is your day. Let’s talk about the fantastic food. I ordered the crispy chicken wings with honey sriracha dipping sauce & blue cheese dressing from the starters menu which was 1/2 price during happy hour. I also ordered the Brussels Sprouts in a sweet chili sauce. Both were to die for. DH ordered the beef chili that came with tasty tortilla chips. If you come to DC make sure to visit Rewind to dine in or takeout, especially on Wednesday.

I went here for my birthday! I loved the atmosphere, perfect for pictures. The food was amazing and inclusive for all diets, not to mention you get huge portions for a great price! They accommodated the big reservation I made but you could only split the check in groups by tables and not individually. The music was great and you couldn't hear the club next door. Even my baby nephew loved it, so it's an A in my book. Will definitely be coming back!

We were staying at the Mayflower and were looking for a close convenient eatery nearby. We found "Rewind" on the nearby list of dining places. It was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food selection was huge with choices. The prices very reasonable for DC and the service was also very good. We happened to arrive still within "Happy Hour" which also was a great perk (50% of common drinks). We definitely would visit again when in the area.

All Hail Freddie, the bar master of all bar masters. Congrats to Dave for starting off right. Rewind is a funky spot with a rare blend of diner, nightclub, and neighborhood hangout. But what makes it my new must-go when I am in DC is the staff. They understand what hospitality means. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and valued. And they have as good a dessert and milkshake menu as you could ask for. Please take some time to grab a stool, eat some decadent food, and hang out with some great people.

We had a 9:30 PM reservation and they were not ready to seat us at 10:00 PM and acted as if we did not have a reservation. There was no apologies and basically we were ignored. We left as we had an 11:00 PM reservation at the next spot and this venue seemed as if they could care less about our business. Thanks for ruining our birthday celebration. Customer Service at this establishment was non existent and professionalism was much to be desired This place is now on the list of places to not support and as a real Washingtonian I’m extremely disappointed and embarrassed for this level and type of service. Just Ridiculous and they should not participate with OpenTable if they are not going to support the reservations made for their venue as this was the worse experience I’ve ever add using OpenTable.

Our server was wonderful and the food was good. We dropped in around 11pm for a late night drink and bites out group which started off with a reservation for eight ballooned to a group of about twenty. Upon arriving I noticed the place was relatively empty and we would easily fit, spread out in a few lounge areas at the front. I mentioned this to the hostess and was surprised by her immediate disdain. She said they could not acclimated us to which I politely mentioned we could sit in separate areas. She again insisted that due to our reservation being for eight, that is the maximum they would seat. I again explained that friends had decided to join us and we did not mind sitting in separate areas. Her answer to this was “I’ll get my manager”. The manager was not rude but not accommodating either. By then our group arrived and we all started sitting on the different areas. After a while the hostess came back to me and announced they would not split our checks. Grated, we are all sitting at different areas and groups by family or friend group. Finally we were assigned a waiter who was just amazing and made the rest of out time there very enjoyable. It’s unfortunate that some employees don’t consider how these experiences affect their employers and ultimately them as well.

Upon arrival we waited to be seated 30 minutes after the reservation time and was notified that the kitchen is backed up and cannot take any orders for an hour and that’s the time the kitchen closes so we ended up having to find another place to eat.

Quiet monday. Really great service, friendly staff. Good drinks. Saw reviews about gnats/flying bugs and still gave it a try. The gnats are real. At the bar, in bathroom, wtf. Everything else is great, but gnats are gross. Come on guys.
