Overall, Ricarda’s is good. I was pretty disappointed that their website didn’t state they were using the Summerlicious menu as I probably wouldn’t have gone. There wasn’t much on the summer menu I wanted and had to settle. Portions are extremely small but food is tasty. Atmosphere is very nice and staff are friendly and quick.
Me and my friend went there for summerlicious. This is a really nice restaurant. The deco is really mordern and really clean and organized. The service was good, the servers were really friendly. My friend and him even had a small chat. The food quality was nice, the flavors were there and the presentation was amazing. However, I just wish the portion was a bit bigger.
Great place and not only our server but also everyone who served us were very polite and friendly. Food was really nice. I loved grilled snapper, Cornish’s hen and lovely desserts! Dessert ( well, all dishes ) were beautifully plated. We will be back!
The food was outstanding! Summerlicious menu did not disappoint, service was engaging and professional. Will go back again. I even spoke with a staff member about how they host events and other large parties! This place is unique and accommodating! Love it!!
A little bit different of a menu with fresh ingredients made in a creative way.
very delicious food , friendly environment, great service, quiet and very pleasant to sit and eat
Nice place went for summerlicious will definitely go again..
The service and the food was outstanding. I higly recommend it! We will be back.
Went for their summerlicious dinner. The snapper dish was divine. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And the decor is very modern and chic. Great experience.
I got a fly around my table always. And there is no summerlicious menu on weekends
New menu! Excellent job!
Great flavours! Really enjoyed it
Top notch service. Food was tasty. Serving sizes are not super big but it's reasonable for the price. Also it's more of a quality over quantity place.
Excelente comida, ambiente muy agradable, la atención buena al principio, pero después muy lento, estuvimos demasiado tiempo.
Great spot for weekend brunch. Awesome service and menu options!
The food was the delicious, but the portion was small.
My meal and my friend's meal were both delicious and our server was very helpful. She explained that this was the first day opening the patio, and considering that, it was a lovely meal.
Best Lamb Burger ! Great Service ! Love the take home baked goods.
We really enjoy the Sunday Jazz brunch. We liked having different options from the buffet.
Amazing food, great atmosphere and lovely service!
Beautiful space. Nice staff. Slow food service. Stale or over toasted bread - unanimous between the Benedict English muffin, avocado toast (not with the money, $18 for one piece of toast -but good toppings) and focaccia with two egg breakfast.
Just okay. Very expensive
Terrible service. I keep hoping it will get better, but the food is average and the service is sloppy and slow.
Our experience was divine! We were in a rush to get out and the restaurant made sure we were out in good time. From our host who watered us because our server was busy with another table when we came in, to our server who made sure our food was expedited in a timely fashion to the server assistants who watered us and delivered our food a BIG thank you! Our meals (the vegetarian risotto and the prosciutto flatbread) were to die for! We finished with a molten chocolate cake and as someone who doesn’t enjoy chocolate that much it was heavenly! A big thanks to the team that was on. We really enjoyed our experience and I for sure will definitely be back!
Wonderful date spot on the city! Had been for brunch before, but first time in for dinner. Ambiance and service were fantastic. Shared the Risotto and Rack of Lamb... Highly recommend!
Wonderful ambience and service.. It was a great experience for my Clients..
Sunday brunch with kids. Live music, supervised babysitting. Perfect way to celebrate a wedding anniversary. We love Ricarda's, wish there were more restaurants in TO like that.
First time there and was well impressed with the service and the food.
Not the best waitress experience. We had to wait a long time to be served and again for the cheque. Food was delicious.
The butternut squash ravioli was a strange combination. The filling was too sweet in contrast to the scallops, the sauce of beans, mixed vegetables and cream did not go well with the extremely sweet butternut squash.
The rum baba was soggy and the accompanying ice cream was melting which make the baba even more soggy
Noise from one of the large groups at a nearby table was more game night at a sports pub than Saturday morning brunch. Not sure how you’d handle that. Would definitely come back tho.
One of the best server’s I have ever had. Pastries were delicious. Brunch offerings were varied but the two we had, lamb and salmon eggs Benny were fine but not exceptional. Ok for the price point.. big bright room in a convenient downtown location. Be warned, they have a table turnover policy which could limit your dining time. Did not see it in Open Table or on restaurant website when I booked. Was disappointed to be greeted with the warning to vacate! As it turned out we sat well beyond the time in a sea of empty tables.
My family and I had a recent advance Mother's Day Sunday Jazz Brunch Buffet celebration at Ricarda's. We were very pleased with the highly attentive and courteous service of the staff especially Morgan. She took us on a tour of the place (massive as it is) as it was our first time. We enjoyed the omelettes and eggs benny and the fantastic fresh seafood buffet spread! Oysters were FRESH (very important!) and juicy, mussels were plump and flavorful. I was so touched when they brought to our table a surprise Mother's Day chocolate dessert (mini-cake). Everything was just perfect! We loved the floor to ceiling glass windows too! Will definitely recommend to friends and family!
When we came upon the idea of enjoying a jazzy buffet brunch we were quite excited! As we entered the restaurant we were very warmly greeted by the host staff and the soulful live jazz. We were shown to our table, introduced to the concept and advised as to what was included in the brunch. We were told by our waitress that unlimited mimosas were included in the $60 special. We began the buffet and enjoyed the varied spread of food. Throughout our meal, we had a hard time getting our server's attention. When we couldn't, we would ask another server to place an order for personal food which was forgotten. We had to ask our original server when we were able to make contact.
That being said, the food and the music were great.
Once we received our bill we were shocked to see an additional $40 each for the "bottomless mimosa" package. Our server had advised us at the onset of our seating that it was included in the $60 jazz brunch special we came for. Had we known it would be an additional charge, we would have considered other options.
This put a bad taste to our experience at Rciarda's and questions us wanting to return for another experience.
Found this on Open Table and was very impressed with the food and service. Not rushed and great buzz about the place. Recommended for sure!
I had brunch there last Sunday and went for lunch, food was so good and the service is beyond expectations
Ricarda’s was an amazing experience. The service was superb and made a family occasion even more special. Food was incredible. Will definitely return.
Everything was pretty great, just end up leaving smelling a lot like food.
The black and yellow fettucini with squid and calametti was generous, perfectly balanced, unique. I would definitely have it again. The piano was a bit loud but we asked for a table further away and were very quickly accommodated. The cheesecake, albeit small-ish, was amazing and beautifully presented.
