   It was my first time at Donato and I will definitely go back soon. The service was great and the food was delicious. We tried the pizza that was very good and then Branzino fish that I enjoyed very much. I want to try their pasta next time!

   Really excellent experience, relaxed on terrace (and quieter than inside). Burrata was first rate and pasta dishes excellent, especially the pea ravioli which was fresh and flavorful, followed by a crazy rich chocolate terrine. We will definitely be back - one of the best dining experience in ages.

    Wasnt worth the hype.. Food was okay, not great.. Portions are small, the burrata was so small almost like a big bocconcini. Ambiance wasn’t great cause no music, just loud from people talking. Restaurant is gorgeous though.. Service was okay too.. Make sure if you go not to sit at table next to patio, everything was full of dirt, our table, napkin, glasses, plates and the guy looked at me odd when I asked him to replace my black which had black dust all over it. Wouldnt go back

    I was totally surprised by the ambiance being on Sherbrooke st. The staff was friendly and very efficient. Both our dinners and appetizers were delicious, But my only complaint is their wine prices are over the top. We chose a bottle at $60.00 now I can, see why it was out of stock. So we ordered a $73.00 bottle,maybe they can order more $60.00 assortments. That is the only complaint we have heard from friends.

    I gave it 5 stars last time and thats why i came back. Brought a friend who never been telling her both food and service was great. We sat at the har made our oder at 6:30 pm. 7:45 and nothing all i could see is plates coming out of the kitchen and the restaurant becoming more full. When asking wheres our order very nicely the bartender said sorry forgot to put your order (with a smile). We were nice about it and said dont worry it happens and asked for some bread. The bread arrived 15 mins later. And the food at 8. The fact she was so unapologetic about it and didnt have any sense of urgency or tried to offer anything on the house was an extreme fail in the service industry.

    It was perfect and good. There is a BUT. The Portion of protein are kind of small and a bit too expensive for what you r getting. But all in all it was nice.
