    I was hoping for the same quality in food as the Enoteca restaurant. Not even close/disappointed. Guess that is why Sociale was 3/4 empty and Enoteca is almost imposable to get into because the food is awesome at Enoteca

    No question this restaurant is giving in to instagram culture which is too bad, but reality unfortunately. I won’t be back for that reason, but obviously a lot of other people will!

    Lively dining experience. Around 9pm a couple of dancers entertain while the vibe turns from a dining experience to a club vibe.

    We were the only people in the entire restaurant yet we were seated at a back table near the kitchen. The food was mediocre at best. The decor was bizarre. Barn meets disco.

    Highly recommended. Loved the ambiance, the lighting, the background music. We ordered the halibut and it was divine. The chocolate terrine is an absolute MUST try. We will cone back to try more.

    We came for drinks for my birthday and had the best time!! The hostess, bartender and waitress were so sweet and accommodating, and moved our table to a bigger one when another last minute guest joined. The DJ played amazing catchy music, vibe was incredible. For my birthday they brought out a personalized sign and a round of drinks on the house - so much fun!!! They also had dancers come out throughout the night. Truly an incredible vibe. My friends and I can’t wait to come back (but earlier and have dinner too!!!)

    The restaurant was amazing but they took forever to get us a standard table. They hit my bf on his back with a big board and paid for all of the food. We only paid for 2 drinks

    The food was incredible! A little pricey but to be expected. Our server was so lovely but the service itself was a bit slow. We sat near the bar and when we ordered drinks we saw them waiting there for a while. We also didn’t get asked if we wanted new drinks when ours were clearly low. Our water wasn’t refilled without us asking, that type of thing. But the ambience was amazing, food was incredible, would definitely come back just expected the service to be a bit more elevated like it is at Enoteca.

    Food was meh. Salty at times, not fresh pasta. The music was awesome, the dancers could have been better or at least more often. Drinks were good but god awfully slow. Two of us took 2 hours to eat, not because we were indecisive.

    Went on a Thursday night which was not busy at all, 3 other tables along with ours. The food was good but the service was terrible. For hardly any full tables you’d think the service would be top tier but the staff were more interested in standing around and talking amongst themselves. It seemed like there was no actual management watching over and the staff were doing whatever they felt like. Courses came out slowly and our bill arrived before our coffees did. A strange experience for a brand new restaurant.

    Great evening but disappointed that they pulled a swapperoo on the wine I ordered, two very similar bottles, I was quite explicit about which one I wanted, they of course brought the more expensive one. Shame on me for not catching it at the table, could have done without the extra $100 on the tab. Food was great but won't be going back after that incident.

    Great music from the live dj. Unfortunately, it Took forever to get drinks to our table which was pretty annoying We ordered 2 apps and 1 main and the main also took a really long time to come out We had a nice time but won’t go back

    The food was great, and the restaurant had a cool ambiance. However, our server was not good, and it took him a very long time to serve us. His customer service skills were not great and kind of gave a weird vibe. If they got better customer service, the restaurant would be great, and I would probably go again.

    Food was amazing. Get the ocotopus when on menu it’s amazing. Agnolotti was superb ans the music and dancers were so fun. Drinks were so good and strong ! Great place and great friendly staff.

    The food is good for Toronto. The ambiance pleasaint. Unfortunately the level of noise and music is unbearble unless you are a jung person looking to partying rather having a nice meal and possibly a coversation. The service was quite poor and it certainly not professional.

    For anyone who loves Enoteca Soxiale, stay away. You will be sadly disappointed. Food, service is nothing — NOTHING— like the restaurant on Dundas. They are really hurting their brand with this place.

    Told them in advance we were running 5 minutes late. Had to wait 10 minutes for our table. Very small inside and one of those cocktail bar vibes where it’s extremely loud and every 2 person tables is way to close together and you’re closer to the other couple in the booth beside you than your date across from you. Could barley hear my partner, I’ve never been to a Resturant/social that loud before. There were times where the guy at the table beside us couldn’t sit down because the waiter was helping place good or talking to the table beside them. Food was nothing special. The hostesses looked stressed and asked me to verify my name 2x for the reservation The best part of the night was our waiter, wish i got him named he was lovely. My partner ended up becoming ill and was had to leave quickly and he was able to promptly get us our bill. Much appreciated.

    Apart from the performances I did not feel this place is worth the hype, Pepe e cacio was delicious but nothing special, table for three was extremely small that two guests couldn’t eat everything ordered at the same time, it ook long time to be served and for quality = price I feel the place it’s overpriced

    Came here to celebrate an engagement and reached out to the restaurant in advance to let them know about the special occasion. The restaurant did not do anything special, or acknowledge the occasion. One thing we really wanted to do was watch the dance show that was supposed to start at 8:30pm. We booked a table for a party of seven at 6pm - their OpenTable page states parties of 5+ have a 3 hour seating time, meaning we would be able to dine from 6-9 pm, and catch 30 mins of the show/dance. At approx. 8:40pm, we were waiting for our last round of drinks and one of the hosts approached us stating that they know we are waiting for the show to start, but they need to “refresh” the table for the next guests booked for 8:45pm and kindly asked us to watch the show standing at the front of the restaurant. While they can obviously see that we were still finishing desserts, we also advised we still had drinks coming and were under the impression that our seating time is for 3 hours til 9pm as stated on OpenTable. The host responded that it’s actually 2.5 hours. At 8:45pm, they sent the other host and asked us to settle up and leave again, which completely ruined the overall experience. In the end, the “dance” started late (few minutes before 9pm) and was super anticlimactic. Disappointing that their front of the house staff had poor customer service, despite being in the service industry. Saw that they ultimately involved management and thought they’d come speak to us, but they didn’t. Food was good and our waiter Madeline was fantastic! Overall experience was ruined by how we were treated by the hosts/staff asking us to leave before our seating time was up. It’s a shame that this happened because it ruined our dining experience & a special occasion right at the very end. Would recommend that information about bookings to be updated, so guests are not corrected by staff members and rushed to leave since OpenTable says 3 hours for 5+ and staff are saying it’s 2.5 hours.

    The greeting started off great, if you’re booking a table for two, it will feel like speed dating since the tables are so close together. They said we can choose any table within the same row (no different). Our waitress was amazing! She was attentive and on top of it all, checking in often. The dancers would only do a 1 minute show once an hour. Amazing drinks. The food was the worst part, since my boyfriend got sick immediately after we got home…

    Came to Ristorante Sociale to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Our overall experience was great! The venue is on the smaller/intimate side and very well appointed. Food and cocktails were all delicious. The entertainment was great and there was even patron participation. The DJ was amazing. Our server, Tyler, was an absolute gem. Very attentive and gave great recommendations. If there was one thing to critique, it would be the washrooms. Maybe it’s a female thing, but a restaurant as aesthetically pleasing and with so many great touches, the owners could put a little more effort into vamping up the washrooms so it doesn’t feel like it belongs in a basement bar. Other than that, would definitely come back and highly recommend!

    We entered the restaurant and were immediately struck by the warm and friendly atmosphere, with such richness of decor. The service was attentive, they became a wonderful part of our experience. Food! You need to try the linguine vongole, the poached halibut and the strip loin (and sticky toffee). Great selection of wines But come for the night and the transition from amazing meal to incredible club!

    We enjoyed our visit, the appetizers and drinks and main courses were very good. The ambience was great including the actors/models that roamed the restaurant. The DJ was cool and the music was great. We would go back again.

    We have an awesome dining experience with impeccable service and really tasty, interesting dishes. There were 6 of us so family style sharing was easy. The steak is amazing - grilled, sliced and then tossed with olive oil. “Don’t miss” items include the rib eye steak (melts in your mouth), the super fresh green salad with a simple dressing that delights your taste buds, and all the pastas (made fresh). Wonderful experience and will definitely go back. Well done, Ristorante Sociale!

    Went to celebrate my girlfriends 40th and the service was terrible. They brought out our main ( steak) and the sides 20min later.... the one server didn't know who ordered what and would place it on the corner of the table the whole time. No water poured we always had to ask, drink service was slow and not to mention there was 8 floor staff working and 2 tables with guests... there shouldn't of been any service issues if the place isn't busy. Honestly we wont be back at this location again.
