What a treat. Don’t miss this restaurant if you are looking for a fine dining option near the Fairmont. The cold lobster salad with thousand island foam was interesting and flavorful. Service was excellent-attentive but not hovering.

We had the 5 course pre fixed menu, which was around $135 a person, plus a glass of wine each, which was $50 overall. That should equal around $320 before tip, but it was $480 before tip. You are charged an absurd amount of taxes, an 18% service charge, and then expected to pay a 20% tip. That’s almost 50% of the entire meal just for taxes and tip. I would never go here again. Besides this, the food was okay, and the ambience was weird. We were the only people in there and the decor was not great. The only thing that was great about the experience was the service. Unless you want to get absurdly charged for twice what you’re expecting (and receiving), I wouldn’t recommend.

Best meal ever - my sons will remember the dining experience for the rest of their lives - they were quite impressed and is much different from their normal meal - The meal was beautiful - like art - and tasted delicious - You should go to this restaurant and make some wonderful long-lasting memories - Thank you Hollis for the great dining service and the meal is the best dinner experience meal on the island

Staff needs to be trained in proper etiquette. Didn’t know how to serve Champagne received white wine glasses for champagne. Plates removed before people were finished eating. It was a mess and lacked class for such an expensive 5 course meal. The food was great though

The Team (apparently no specific renowned chef), works together to create extraordinary cuisine at the highest level. Highlights : Canapes of brllliance in both creativity and flavor, a poached lobster under foam sitting in a bisque below presented brilliantly and exquisite saucing of duck and branzino. Deserts need some fine tuning at this level. Which by any global standards can compete with the finest Michelin star restaurants.

Not part of the hotel so you can’t charge it to your room. Was very expensive and not worth the cost. I’ve had much better food. Honestly, I was disappointed. Also it was VERY cold in the restaurant, they offer wraps to wear while dining.

Been a customer since its beginnings. Riva has taken fine dinning in PR to another level. The changes that have taken place have improved ambience and the palate effect. Limited but very well thought wine list. If you want a relaxed Michelin like rated experience, this is the place to go!

It was just the right amount of fancy without being stuffy. We were greated by a lovely young woman with a big smile. Soon after the manager and staff came to say hello all with big smiles made us feel welcome and comfortable. The canapés were amazing one plate of bite sized delicious little bites mostly seafood. The gnocchi and pork belly should be a poem and the duck and branzino were amazing left me wanting more flavors so good.

I was prepared to be disappointed - fine dining options in a hotel lobby often miss the mark in my experience. This restaurant was quite good. Food was innovative, very well prepared and presented, service was good and price was reasonable for the quality. Chef Ben Wald seems to me to be a rising star. The tasting menu is well presented, has good options and al a carte is also available.

This place is truly astonishing, not only for their exceptional service but also for their mouth-watering cuisine. I had the pleasure of trying their in-house speciality, which came with freshly baked bread that was simply divine. So much so that I couldn't resist breaking my low-carb diet. As for my main course, I ordered the gnocchi and I must say, it was the best I have ever tasted. The gnocchi was incredibly fresh, firm, and had the perfect amount of chewiness. The creamy sauce complemented it perfectly. Overall, I had an enjoyable dining experience and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly exceptional meal.
