   Thank you for making the room a little brighter with added lighting. Apparently the last time I went, one half of the room was not lit for some reason. This time, I noticed some additional lights, added fireplace, TV screens on (although the screens are a distraction rather than adding to the beauty of the place). I did not have the Dine Out because I had already been there before. I ended up ordering a large salad and truffle fries. The salad was missing beets, I think....not sure but it may have helped the overpowering amount of feta. Note to self - ask for feta on the side. I had the salad from Dine Out and thought it would be similar. It was a larger version minus the beets and lots of cheese. The fries did not have sufficient truffle oil and I asked for a bit more to add. I did not realize that the fries had a very strong cheese on top. My own fault for having an adverse reaction to cheese in general. I could not finish either one and took them home. Big mistake. Live and learn.

    I am generally always happy with a meal there. I remember this waitress from another visit there but this time she seemed a bit inattentive- did not ask if we would like anything to drink...wine, coffee... and we would have to wave her down if we wanted something.

    I visited this restaurant during covid. They had 2 staff members and both wore masks. The tables were spaced out, which was great. They did close off a section and I think it would've been better if they opened that section as well when it got busy. The food was great for dine out Vancouver. The portions were pretty big, definitely worth the money. Although there were only 2 servers, they were pretty attentive. Service was great, I'd recommend this restaurant.

    They screwed up my reservation. I booked for 4 but somehow they reserved only 2 so when I checked and asked why. They said now all seated are full nothing they can do about it. Never go back there again.

    Great service and food but not substantial enough for my teenagers. Maybe serve some bread as a starter would help.

    A lovely, relaxing place to enjoy a date night. Riverway currently participates in 'Dine Out' which offers several options for a 3 course meal at $34. The salmon is always a great choice which includes lobster tail. There are also 2 appetizer choices and includes dessert.

    Had New York steak which was quite tough. Steak and Lobster dinner - lobster good, but steak was inedible, a five ounce piece of gristle. Will be going again next week, which was already prearranged. We have been promised a free dinner on our next visit. Apart from this one experience, we always enjoy dining at Riverway. Staff are excellent.

    Had a reservation for 6:30. We were running late and I tried calling a few times but it didn't get through. Arrived at 6:45 and the server checked us in right away. It seemed like there were only one server and one busser working at that night. We ordered dine out menu. I had my eyes on the steak and lobster tail before coming in, consider it is only $34. My partner kept saying the server doesn't have any customer service skills because she had to finish the conversation quickly and go when we had questions. I had a glass of wine the server recommended but it's a bit more expensive and she gave me a good deal on it. But there are not so many options for beer. It is quiet because there were only 6 tables of guests and romantic because we sat by the fireplace. Overall, we were happy with the meals and the ambiance.

    My husband and I were there for our anniversary lunch as we couldn’t get a dinner booking due to Dine Out. While the atmosphere and food were great, the service was not. We waited for everything: menus, drinks, to have our order taken, 10 minutes to get a question answered about an item, not once were we asked how our food or anything was, our plates stayed a long time after we’d done, we were not offered coffee or dessert, and waited about 20 minutes before finally seeing our server again only to have to wave her over for our bill. When we booked I mentioned it was our anniversary and NOTHING was said or done. The food was good enough though that I will go back and give it another chance, plus I don’t think that server will be around much longer, if others have similar experiences.

    Had the Salmon and Lobster tail. Lobster was perfectly cooked, however nothing on my plate was even close to warm let alone hot, although had good flavour! Reminds me of catered food not cooked to order.

    Best toffee cake! Steak and duck confit was very good and so were the salmon avocado burger and cheddar bacon burger. We were seated right away and staff were attentive. Thank you for the delicious meal.

    The Dine out Menu is good value with great selection. The salmon with lobster was very delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was outstanding and cooked to perfection. we would return and recommend to friends.

    No common bears like Kokanee molson canadian or budwiser. My wife ordered a rusty nail but sorry no drambue steak was not hot. Doubt if we will return

    Food was very delicious, salmon and lobster were cooked perfectly with great flavors. Service was attentive but not overbearing, the way we like it. Thought the dine out menu was good value for the quality of the food and service, great experience overall.

    Excellent service and food. Simple and clear menu and when we made modifications to our meal (i.e. no cheese, etc.), they did it without issue on first attempt. Most other restaurants forget our request and then waste food.

    Tables are well spaced and extremely clean as well. Timely service, not rushed but not lagging either. Always a beautiful room and view, even when the weather is inclement. And the food was well worth what we paid, as we both had steaks (one with lobster) which was delicious.

    The steak and lobster was a bit disappointing, but then the price point should have told us that. The steak was not top quality (tough) and the lobster very small with not much taste, and no melted butter. The dessert (cheesecake) was delicious. Salad was so-so. Servers were awesome! Nice dining room.
