Rivington Greenwich
Top-Etiketten:
Poached eggs was a hard boiled egg. Mediocre avo toast.
It’s good like always! Really good food n atmosphere.
Good restaurant for casual dining. Very convenient for Picture House (in same building) and historic Greenwich.
Tight space, we barely had enough space between chair and table. Service was a bit strange. We arrived 10 mins early and were asked to wait 15 mins before we could be seated although there were many empty tables. Fish and chips was soft and bready and incuded skin and scales
There were some interesting breakfast options not just the same as you get everywhere and it was a fun atmosphere; we had a mixed group people who wanted a drink and people with kids and we all enjoyed it.
As good as ever. Met a new waiter & he was as charming as the others
I took my daughter for her birthday and our experience was fabulous. Having never visited this restaurant before, I did not know what to expect, but I needn’t have worried. The welcome was lovely and time was taken to explain both the drinks and food menus. The food was exceptional and well presented even having a ‘Happy Birthday’ written in chocolate on my daughters dessert plate. My 4 year old grandson was made welcome also. I will definitely be going back.
Great service and great food to match
Lovely set lunch in the Rivington. Good value menu and great , friendly service. We will definitely return.
A step up from your average gastro-pub.
Well cooked comfort food with great service and good drinks. A bit pricey for where it is in Greenwich though. Limited veggie choice - adding a premium veggie burger on there would be a good idea.
A great place. Highly Recommend. Excellent food and a great wine list!
Wonderful lunch and service- I had inadvertently booked the wrong day - however the manager was very considerate and helpful and arranged a table for us.
Very enjoyable Sunday lunch
Very attentive service and the lemon sole was delicious! Had a lovely time!
Very much enjoyed a late crab supper after seeing Turandot streamed live from the Metropolitan Opera house NYC.
I am a frequent visitor to the Rivington and love it!
Great food, great service as always
Pasta wasn’t very hot. A tad runny even. Also was asked to vacate table very soon after our meal.
A superb brunch and the best Bloody Mary I have ever had! Great, attentive staff.
Had a great lunch with a friend at the Rivington Greenwich where we really enjoyed that we could sit outside in the gorgeous weather. The service was excellent and the place has an amazing gin selection - so also started with a Gin cocktail before lunch. We both had some really lovely fish dishes both for starter and main so can only highly recommend this place.
Chicken roast was very over cooked
The food and service were both very good. When I expressed surprise at the voluntary service charge of 12.5% the manager immediately changed the bill for one without service charge and I was able to decide the size of the tip to give. I was very pleased and surprised at this response.
I am a frequent visitor to the Rivington, often eating with a friend before or after a film at the Picturehouse. I usually have a gin cocktail, The dressed crab and a portion of chips.
I love it and the service is always excellent !
Very good range of food and excellent quality. Can be a bit noisy if the table is close to the bar. Not keen on the fact that dogs are allowed into the establishment.
Superb food and excellent non intrusive but attentive service. Order anything fish, all four of us had fish and all agreed it was excellent.
Food and drinks wasn’t too bad but the Service was excellent
Great lunch at the Rivington. You must try the bread it’s amazing.
Very good service and the food was very enjoyable. I was glad to be sitting upstairs as it was quite noisy downstairs. The cost of the meal reflected the standard- value for money and I would re-visit if in the area
The most fabulous selection of gin and food and wine is excellent. My friend, myself and her 3 year old daughter ate in the garden. The kid's menu is free when 2 adults eat from the main menu, excellent value. We started with the prawns (delicious) and even more delicious were the scallops with green pea puree and bacon.
Good food and lovely staff, but a bit expensive.
Great service as always. Relaxed and friendly with good good.
We had friends visiting from Hong Kong at short notice last week and it was their youngest daughter’s birthday. I got a booking the same afternoon and the Manager, Andrei, and his team made sure we had a wonderful night. Food was excellent (as always) and they did a beautiful “Happy Birthday” on the little girl’s dessert plate. Our guests were very happy and impressed by the high standard of quality and service. Thanks Andrei and staff, look forward to seeing you all again soon! CLARE W. Greenwich.
The food is good and restaurant ok. Service great. Average value for money
Grilled spicy chicken tasty but a bit dry. Great moonshot gin & tonic and excellent service. Bit warm for comfort in restaurant.
Amazing food! Great local place
Always a good option in Greenwich for years been a good place for dinner.
Everything was done well from food to service and the pace of the establishment. To find fault would be overly critical for this place correctly pitched at their clientele. Compliments to all.
Great quality meat and service. Fin recommendations a bonus. Thank you
Revisited one of our favorite London local restaurants. The weather didn't suit for the outdoor gin terrace but ti looked great. Instead we had our drinks inside a the bar with a huge selection to choose from, each paired with the perfect mixer/garnish. Check out the gin hour for special promotions. We ate early on Saturday evening, the service was warm and attentive. A shared starter of potted shrimp is a staple on the menu and always pleases, followed by two mains of lamb and pork. The food was nicely presented and full of flavour. A gin to finish and we left as the restaurant was full for a Saturday night service.
The area has an identity crisis- bar- food tables- hot upstairs - no loos upstairs - and sad chill specific jazz by a poor singer -
The food was only ok- the lamb chops ordered medium- v rare- sent back- burnt chips up next -clearly cooking from frozen doesn’t work - the barrate was so cold you couldn’t taste it -
They took the returned food off the bill but such a disappointment
I was celebrating my birthday here with my husband before going to an event at the Cutty Sark later in the evening. We arrived shortly after they opened and were greeted warmly and able to choose our table.
Our aperitifs were good and my husbands G&T was good value for £6. We ordered house wine to go with our meal and it was delicious but only realised it was £30 when we received the bill.
I ordered scallops, bacon with a pea purée and a side of buttery mash. All delicious and not too filling but I would have preferred it hotter. Decided not to return as thought it would probably be put in a microwave to reheat. My husbands monkfish and prawn masala with coconut rice was tasty but not outstanding.
My dark chocolate tart and clotted cream was wonderful and I would definitely recommend.
If we were in that area again and wanted a non-chain restaurant meal we would return.
Very attentive service in a pleasant atmosphere on the mezzanine level. Fish of the day was a very tasty bream.
