Staff are knowledgeable about the food and the wines. Dine Out Vancouver menu is spot on; can’t go wrong with lobster stuffed ravioli with large prawns or falfalle and beef ragu. Nice to have a consistently good restaurant in the West End!

It was an average meal. The atmosphere was amazing as was the wine.

We had the Dine Out menu. The choices were perfect. The value is incredible. The service was amazing. The food was delicious! The restaurant also had safety protocols in place which we appreciated very much. This was our second time at Robba da Matti and will be back for sure!

I would say Robba da Matti (West End) is a good...but not great Italian restaurant. The location, for us, is very convenient...which is why we have been a number of times. But, if it was not where it is, I can't say I would go out of my way to go there...there are better Italian places. Don't get me wrong, its not bad at all...just not great. The Burrata salad is amazing! The service is great. The outdoor patio is very nice. And many of the pasta dishes are very good too. I have just found that a couple of the dishes are just so-so...the Gnocchi sounded really good, but was VERY heavy and too much cheese sauce (needed something in it to cut the sauce a bit). The Carbonara (my usual favorite when I get pasta) is just way too salty. I know it because of the Guanciale they put in it, but the fact that each time I order it the staff warn me its salty...likely says something. They are aware of it, I suggest they look for a way to change it. I have had A LOT of carbonara in many countries (and made it myself many times)...the one at Robba da Matti is on the lower-end of "good"...probably a 4 out of 10.
All that being said, Robba da Matti is good...but, certainly not great. We will go again, because its to close (and decent Italian in the West End is lacking).

Super fresh mozzarella salad, rich and tasty gnocchi, followed by panacotta. Delicious! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was enveloping on a crisp Friday night. Can’t wait to return in the summer.

Appy & 2 main courses fine. Tiramisu not good & would not recommend to anyone. Cappuccinos - could not taste the expresso at all in either of the two.

Food was so good! However, service could definitely improve. It wasn’t a busy night at all yet we waited quite a while before we got greeted, water, etc.

Id come back for the food and hope for better service next time!

We did dine out Vancouver and we thought we got very good value for our money. Love the food at this place, lovely pasta, so will come back again.
Really enjoyed eating out on the patio, good heaters so we didn't feel cold at all even though it's February and still winter.
Thought there was good distance between the tables and we liked how old vintage windows were used for dividers.

As always Robba da Matti did not fail to exceed our expectations. We felt completely safe while dining with the protocol measures in place. The food was spectacular, service was on point. The only downside to the evening is as not getting to sit on the patio and that was my fault at time of booking. I’ll be sure to pay better attention next time. Thanks for a great dining experience as always!

This restaurant is our favourite Italian choice in Vancouver! It consistently serves excellent food, has wonderful wait staff and is great value for the price!

This is by far our favorite restaurant to go to in Vancouver!!! The food is amazing and the service top notch!!! My wife and I absolutely love the Bruschetta Lecesse! And the Carbonara is legit!!! To finish our meal we shared the most silky smooth Panna Cotta!!! The manager, Christian was our server and he by far the best server I've ever had!!! Kind, knowledgeable and was so personable!!! I absolutely recommend this restaurant and especially this location to everyone!!!

This restaurant is always busy with lots of customers equally distanced apart. The menu has diverse options for all. The sauces are just exquisite, meat and vegetarian options.
The new heaters for the patio out door seating are so warmly it makes it much warmer to seat outside if you’d prefer.
I live in the West End, Vancouver and love this neighbourhood fine Italian cuisine restaurant.
My fiancé and I have celebrated our engagement, birthdays and traditional new year meal for the past few years here.
Highly recommended for any occasion!

Even with the cold temperatures outside(-3°C) the outdoor dining room was comfortable and welcoming.

The new bartender was awesome. The server was barely in the table. The food is great but the pesto/burrata pasta should be improved, no taste at all. The desserts were great! The tiramisu was the best one!!!

We would have rated 5 stars on everything but we were a little cold. It was quite a cool evening and even with the heaters, it was cool on one side of our table, other side comfortable. They have blankets which helped a lot. Service terrific, food amazing. We're all dong our best in these Covid times.

A beautiful, almost magical place to eat. The food was very good, albeit a bit spicy for a few of my mates. Service was awesome, and it was Dine Out, which we did not know, so the value was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Super fresh, good quality ingredients make for a constantly delicious meal. It's just hard to pick what to order as it's all so good.

Excellent pasta! Had the pasta with short rib. Hearty and filling. Sauce wasn’t acidic. Great service! Friendly and knowledgeable.

Very good food and service. The only thing I did not love was the creme brulee consistency.

Visited Robba da Matti on NYE. Big disappointment, we showed up 15 minutes early and the restaurant let 3 parties that came after us, to their table first before us. The beef carpaccio was great but is the only compliment I've got because we ended up sending the gnocchi back and the rest was sub par. We both ended up in our hotel feeling sick an hour after. I don't recommended. We came for the venue especially when the last restaurant there was great in that same location, but not Robba da Matti.

Excellent experience. Will definitely come back again.
