   Friendly staff and a wonderful setting for dinner. We chose to have lots of little plates and nothing disappointed! However, the eggplant needs to be liberated from the side menu and made its own mini plate. If you're visiting, try the eggplant!

   Beautiful food, well presented and excellent quality. Not the cheapest but we had more than enough to eat and it was excellent quality. Service very good, quiet for a Friday lunchtime. Overall, lovely meal and would go back.

   Went to Robun for an anniversary meal and it was a fantastic experience. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was amazing - especially if you like sushi. I'd also recommend 'The Blazer' after dinner cocktail if you want something theatrical and tasty. Whilst a little pricey, it was worth it.

   Really fabulous night at Robun for my husbands birthday! We had the tasting menu with drink pairing and it didn't disappoint, delicious food great service and brilliant explanations to everything. We were treated so well we will for sure be returning! Thank you for making us feel so special and for sourcing us a cigarette our drunken selves requested! Fantastic team!

   Absolutely delicious - stunningly fresh ingredients, creatively and elegantly presented, beautifully crafted. I am Japanese American, so am fairly picky about Japanese food. We ate on the ground floor- very comfortable, airy room. It was extremely quiet but we were eating very early (my four month-old granddaughter was with us.) it is probably lively later-though Robun is clearly serious about their food, the ambiance is relaxed and friendly. I think there is a bar in the upstairs dining area.

    First time at Robun for my husbands birthday food was great. Not sure the black cod was worth £25 to be honest but glad I tried it. Specials were lovely.

    The food is really exceptional but it was a great shame to see it not very full on a Friday night, since the atmosphere lacked slightly. Having booked a table at 8:30, it was a shame to have all the lights turned down and feel that we had to leave by 10:30 as the last ones there. The service was good and they kindly brought a birthday cake for my daughters 18th.

    We booked a table at 12.30 on Bank Holiday Monday for the afternoon tea for 2. The tastes were superb, the service a perfect combination of friendliness and helpfulness without hovering. It was the right amount for us for a light lunch with exquisite taste. Could not fault anything at all. We will definitely return.

    Overall it was a nice evening but I'm not sure there was real value for money. We arrived with high expectations and for the most part the food was fine but not amazing which was frustrating given the price. The wagyu taki dish was overpowered by the citrus dressing, the soft shell crab good, the wagyu sliders nice but again nothing special... The best dishes by far were the kimchee fried rice and the chicken kariaage. I would go back but probably for a light lunch and not dinner. Service was fantastic!

    Myself and my wife were staying over in Bath for a wedding and thought we would book Robun. Upon arrival were welcomed to our table, service was great. However we found the pricing a little too punchy, the food was good but not for the prices and gratuity requested. If we find ourselves in Bath again we would probably just go Wagamama across the street.

    Very drunk men on table next to us, staff did nothing, shouting swearing and vaping. Staff just waited for them to leave! I think they were all scared of them. Service was very slow, 35 minutes before we even got a drink and the restaurant was maybe half full. Food good and arrived in good time when we finally got to order. Cocktails great.

    Honestly we were disappointed. Atmosphere was bizarre. Not very good service and unfortunately the waitress didn't know what the menu was, so I ended up with something I didn't want or like... Overpriced also. It was uncomfortably cold in there. Not many hot food options. We only spend 45 mins in there it was that disappointing

    ThE food was very tasty and overall the service was good. However it is quite expensive. Charging £3.50 for a jug of what I expect was tap water?? £12 for a glass of wine , which isn’t £12 when you add a 12 % service charge.

    Long delays with food arriving seemingly at random. One main dish didn’t arrive at all. Desert was delivered without side plates or utensils! Far too expensive for such poor service. Avoid.

    It was our first visit to Robun, and it was really excellent! The restaurant is lovely inside, nice ambience, and the food was outstanding. Great Sushi and Sashimi. As well as some fantastic Bao Buns and Wagyu Sliders! We could see the service was a bit patchy in places, although we were lucky as our waitress (Kim) was fantastic. The only criticism I would have is the service from others wasn't good. For example the manager served us our wine badly, warm bottle, and just poured it for those that didn't want it without asking. And the other point is it is expensive. Although the food really is good, it doesnt warrant these prices. But we will definitely go back!

    Nice food, service was great, but the value brings it down a lot. you don’t get much on your plate at all (they reccomend about 3/4 plates per person) and they all cost about £10-£30 per plate Drinks were also a pretty penny. Nice place but very expensive and tbh a little bit overpriced imo Two 100ml drinks, 2 small plates and one medium sized plate came to £81 They also add a 12.5% service charge.

    I have visited twice. The food is lovely. However on both occasions we had to ask more than once for part of our order which had not arrived. On the second visit even asking twice, the main came but still no fries. And on both occasions the bill had not taken into account the £10 per head online deposit we had paid.     Excellent food served speedily with a smile by Olivia, she understood both our requirements and what was on offer and she managed both so we could make a concert we had booked for and enjoy our meal. Insufficient time to sample all the delights on the menu - we will be back! Gyozo deserve a special mention - fantastic!

    The food was lovely and I would have recommended to others however after being offered water when entering and sitting down and then being charged for them at the end is awful. No wonder the waiter was very keen on topping up our water during our stay but disappointed each time he got a bottle didn’t disclose these was a cost to them and it wasn’t intact standard restaurant tap water.
