The service was fabulous, it was our anniversary dinner and we were welcomed with complimentary champagne. The service was great. But the food was not great quality in my opinion. Our meal came to around the 90.00 mark and did not justify the amount we paid. The quality of my steak wasn’t great, it wasn’t done to how I asked. The starter was under cooked (pork belly). We were quite disappointed as it was recommended highly by friends. We didn’t want to complain due to the service being so great. But was a disappointment.

Another good visit, with friendly service, lovely cocktails (5-7pm is happy hour), and a good ambience. Let down a little on this occasion by the turkey offering on the Christmas menu. We had expected carved turkey but instead received a turkey breast which was on the tough side. And the "Pigs in blankets" turned out to be a single one only. So avoid the turkey and you should have a great evening. Lastly, if you wonder (the staff did not know) what "other" means on your bill breakdown into "Food" "Drinks" and "Other", it means the desserts! A very strange distinction.

Good service and food. A tiny bottle of soda instead of being on tap, cost £2.95 rather excessively priced. Cheese board very disappointing three small pieces of cheese which had no taste, four crackers and chutney £8.95. Enjoyed the food.

My wife and I booked here for our 2nd wedding anniversary. Didn't know the restaurant at all but it was close to where we were staying. I had mentioned during the online booking it was for a special occasion and once we were sat at our table were greeted with a complimentary glass of fizz and a Happy Anniversary message.. Brilliant. The menu was really varied and the choices we made, especially my lamb shank massaman curry, were really good. Great place with a great vibe and definitely heading back before or next anniversary. Thanks

Excellent first visit for a family Birthday - thoroughly enjoyed by 3 generations of the family. Chose from Sunday lunch (generous portions) and from main menu, plus beautifully crafted cocktails and ciders. Nothing disappointed. Service good and professional even though - environment bit noisy (but where isn't at peak Sunday lunchtime?) - a vibrant and positive vibe prevailed - would definitely visit again and also try a leisurely midweek lunch or cocktails alfresco on sunny days! Decadent and eclectic decor is also a crowd-pleaser!

I was introduced to RnR by a friend and have been back a couple of times since. Love the atmosphere and ambience. Good cocktails as well. My food (monkfish and prawn curry) was very tasty. Would recommend and I’m likely to be back in a couple of weeks.

I love Rock & Rose! The staff are always friendly. The food is always delicious, as are the cocktails. And the decor is fabulous! We thought it was very reasonably priced for four ladies drinking wine and cocktails and eating dinner.
